Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Totally excited for the worm bin too brother! LOL.....excited about worms, just doesn't sound right!

If I were to set up to produce worm castings/super soil I would probably use the flow through design worm bins and eliminate the sifting and such. But that's just me cause I'm old and lazy.

Blew has given us a new obsession!

Well he has certainly ignited it. We had on the back burner for about 6 months or longer.....so he just helped us get our shit in gear LOL.

Wow Van that Stank girl had some legs on her. She ought to fill out right for ya with that light. Looking good in the Stank garden

Oh she definitely has some legs on her. She should have been in a ZZ Top video! (Sorry Dabber....ruined your punch line brother)

Ok seeing the stank next to a door frame puts it into perspective, better start super cropping lol!

LOL, yeah right! I knew I wasn't getting a good representation of her size in my other pictures but those pics did the trick. I can't imagine how big she would have been if I would have kept her healthy the whole time.

She got legggggs.....
:theband:
She knows how to use them!

Sing it brother!

Going to wrap those legs around his light pole. Lol

Watch out Derby! gonna get me all excited and stuff!!!

Yeah I am not sifting anything. I am just planning on using the vermi-composting as the base for my Stank Soil.

If I can find a place in the woods where I can harvest my own EWC, like @bobrown14 does, then I don't need a huge casting farm (just enough to meet my ACT requirements during the winter month which is about 2-4 cups per week depending on the watering schedule).

That is true....but with the few EWC we found we would need to buy a bunch air pots and grow a ton of maters to make that worth collecting. I am thinking finding a good spot in the woods would be easier!

yeah you gotta let chicken poop break down before you use it. About the only poop I know you can use right away is worm poop and rabbit poop (which is supposed to be one of the best as a fertilizer. Eventually when we get set up out in the mountains or wood (or better yet woods up on a mountain) I want to set up rabbits for food and fertilizer (their poop....not them...just in case anyone misunderstood that LOL). We will have chickens as well and we will use their poop in what will become out outdoor compost pile for the outdoor garden.

I could certainly get into having a meat hog!

Its funny, we used to hunt the hell outta the wild pigs in florida as a kid. Just go out in the orange groves and other farm areas and take as many you wanted. They don't have quite the issue with wild hogs up this way as we did back home.

Ah....I am a big BBQ guy. About to start the meat smoking season (if I can get the snow to stop.....been snowing all morning again). I tend to do mostly pork.....eventually I will get around to doing briskets as well. I love smoked chicken too.

There aren't any good BBQ places up here....so gotta do it yourself.

What do you smoke in? We would like to get into welding so I can start designing and making my own smokers instead of paying crazy prices for one. Hell maybe I can find a good welder and trade him a couple ounces of bud for a smoker! I got plenty of bud!

I have been using the same cheap horizontal smoker for about 5 years now. I figure I have another year or two and I will need to get a new one. Its really held up nicely....just a royal pain in the ass to keep the temps stable for extended periods. Rises and drops in relatively quick cycles so requires attention ever 45 minutes or every hour or so. I love to get a top notch smoker to use. Smoking meats while smoking buds.....sounds like a perfect summer brother!

I'd be hunting them like mad if we had them here. I bet they really put a hurting on the farmers tho
Oh they do...the farmers don't even care if you hunt them. Hell some of them are offering bounties on them down south. Destructive as hell. The biggest issue is that the hogs running around now have been bred with those crazy russian wild boars that are way bigger and way more aggressive. They breed so fast its damn near impossible to keep their numbers down.

Then of course you get the tree hugging liberals that are up in panties about farmers wanting to kill the boars. "They were there first". No they weren't....they were never native to that area and thats for a reason. But don't worry as soon as the numbers are so high across the country that all them libers will have their panties tied in a bundle because of the prices of all their specialty foods and once it affects their little slice of heaven they will be advocating for 'controlling their numbers' to manageable levels.
