Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Veg tent ladies looking fit & healthy as hell. Why the 60 days for BD? :Namaste:
Hey sorry for the delay in answering this BL. The main reason is that I have set my perpetual on a specific timeline for dropping beans, switching to flower and potential harvest times (I realize that the plant is going to be done when its done and I can't really change that, but sticking to flipping every two weeks will kind of keep me on track).

She is going to get up potted to 10 gallon pot in a couple days. From there, she will have a while until she is ready for flip. Now the only thing that will really make me alter from the plan is a plant that is telling me "screw you, I am going to do what I want" and if this Blue Dream grows too fast or too big for my timeline, then I will break my plan and flip her early. But I gotta try to stick to the plan brother. Drop bean every two weeks (two for regulars), try to get 3 weeks of growth in the solo cup (1 week as seedling, and the first two weeks of veg), and then up-pot to #2 pots for 4 weeks before final transplant for the last two weeks of veg and then flip! When they are done is the only thing that I can't control. Just gotta keep my plant count at or below 12.

Any delays in a plant finishing, will delay future bean drops. If my '9 week strain' doesn't finish until 11 weeks, then that extra two weeks will impact when a replacement bean is dropped.

Hope that clarifies things a bit BL. Great question though.

Be careful out there!
Thanks Beez. We survived the storm and so far 2/3 of the dig out. I still have the back porch and path to the grill and wood box to shovel.

Ended up with about 26 inches of snow in about 10-12 hours. Thats as have of a snow fall as I have ever seen in that time period. Might have some more next week too!

This Global Warming is some nasty stuff!

Bonus Update

No real updates scheduled for today. I am doing the final defoliation on the Stankberry #1 and the Nukehead #2 today. Both are going into a separate tent for 24 hours of darkness before their first day of 12/12.

All the plants are looking great. All of them are showing me the color I want and expect and the only bad grower out of the bunch is the Nukehead #1. The Jack Herer Auto is really coming on strong. Blue Dream got watered with ACT yesterday and I top dressed her with just a little bit of goodies (EWC, ground barley, and a little bit seabird guano) before that watering. She looked really happy this morning.

Ms Stanks Harley is looking great and will get watered with ACT and top dressing tonight. She is on the countdown to flower clock now (2 weeks from today) along with the Nukehead #2, and the Blue Dream has 4 weeks until it gets flipped.

Here is the group shot.....pretty nice from where I am sitting!

JESUS........that's how big my plants are when they're finished in flower....LOL Maybe I need to veg longer or use bigger pots, or maybe both!! Is the Blue Dream the second row on the left?

No, its on the middle row on the right, just behind the humidifier. She will really blow up when I up pot her to the 10 gallon pot in a few days.

They one you asked about is the male Stankberry. (Thats a pretty dude there.....thinking about trying something with him, but not going to say much at this point). I am really digging his structure. I wish he was a girl!

Easy to see they like the new Spyder light. :Namaste:
They are really digging it, and I haven't even played around with adjusting any distances. I think I am going to do some tinkering with it over the next few days.

Stankberry Defoliation

Just finished trimming this beast. I am kind of worried about her height going forward LOL. She is already over 24" tall from the top of the soil. Should be interesting to see how she flowers out.

I am germinating a Girl Scout Cookies seed (Nukeheads) and am 90% it's not going to be a success. It's been in the paper towel now for 2 full days. I looked closely at it under magnification and found that the seed has a crack in one side. Not the seam where the two halve join together. This is actually cracked in the center of one of the halves. I fear if it was like that when I got it the seed was probably already dead. Not the start I was hoping for from a Nukehead seed.

Do you have a tent with a roof height extender? I'll guess the Stankberry monster is going to want to GROW when flipped.

Thats what I am afraid of as well Beez! And no, I can't extend the height of the tent. Its one of the reasons that I am flowering her faster than 60 days. She would still have about 20 days left to veg if I was taking her to 60 days. Thats a scary thought honestly. She is going to be a big bitch!

I do not think I have the experience or tent size to grow a plant that size. I would panic when I saw it getting to a certain height and flip it.....LOL

I had an auto crack like that last month and it never ended up germinating, so I think you're right on that.

I think that's all you can do! Best for you and best for the grow :).

Plants look great VS. That's a happy veg tent, and the JH has really taken off!

Thanks brother, I am very pleased now that things are back on track. I hate causing my plants to suffer any deficiency. I love when they look happy and healthy.

Ya know....I wasn't at all happy with that JHA early on but she is growing on me. She's really picking up steam. Gonna do my final trim on the Nukehead before flipping her and then I am going to see if I can't do any more LST on the Jack.....trying to spread her open as wide as possible!

Each update just awes me. Very cool indeed. :goodjob:

I know right? Each update I realize I have more and more to learn. But learning is half the fun.

Which plant is that in the back row middle? And would it be possible to see a photo from overhead. The top of that plant looks different then the others. Is it trying to make a large cola ?
