Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

If I had a closet that wasn't overflowing with shit already that would be a very viable option. I had to cull the best male I have ever had. It was a Huck Kush from Dynasty. It was a bush! Super thick, healthy plant. It was louder in veg than most of my flowering chicks at the time and even after 3-4 months in a 1 gallon pot being rootbound for about half of it he was still super happy and healthy. He also did not auto flower on me like some other males I have had pop up. If I had a place to flower him out and collect pollen i would have been a happy Yeti and would have probably hit everything I have with him.

I've been down with the flu this week. The bug that's rolling thru these parts is brutal! Hopefully I can get back to renovating my grow room soon. I may try breeding in the beginning. Depends on how full my jars are at the time

Take it easy...I was hit with it a few weeks ago and it took forever to completely recover... The damn fever is the worst

F gnats those f F's.
My name's lowded I have a watering problem...
LOL, well don't water so much!

If you have a gnat issue that is getting out of control, water the plants with a mix of water to Hydrogen Peroxide at a 4:1 ratio and it will take care of your gnats. You might want to hit your soil with a recharge after that though.....the H2O2 can hurt the herd. You can also get something called Gnat Gnix and do a top cover. It keeps them from getting down into the dirt. Just be sure to cover any holes on the bottom of the pot so they don't have a back door to get into.

Most people consider them as such. if I had a spot that i could quarantine one to I would keep one around. As things stand though I cant. I would love to reverse my Slurricane and make more seeds of it for myself and friends. I also would not mind crossing it to my 9# Hammer. The hammer smells and tastes really good (from what i am told) and delivers a hell of a punch. The Slurry smells and tastes good but does not hit quite as hard. I also have a Donkey Punch that I think may be a male that I would not mind hitting my Orangeade with. It could be really fun making my own crosses if I could just flower out one male or reverse one female.
Its really not hard if you have a 2nd small tent that you can use in a location away from your girls. One other idea is to harvest the pollen at a time when you don't have any girls actually flowering. Then you just spray everything with water when you are done and you can flower out the girls and sprinkle some pollen on the colas you want to get seeds from.

Yeah thats why I said if I had another spot to put one I would. I should really just get a small tent to hold one male or reversed girl. I do have a couple of extra lights hanging around.
YES...THIS!! LOL

Hope you get to feeling better brother. Rest up!

Weekend Update

Not a whole lot going on this weekend. Did a little watering on the Stankberrys and then today I did a little defoliating and LST on the Blue Dream and Jack Herer Auto

The Stankberry plants got just under a gallon of ACT last night and the Blue Dream got about 32 oz's of ACT.

Ms Stank's male Harlequin got its first 24 hours of darkness today. Switching him to a different time setting.....will be running him on from 10pm til 10am. He will get a drink of ACT this evening.

Here is a little before and after on the Blue Dream. Not often do I have reservations on defoliating a plant, but I definitely did with this girl. She was so gorgeous that I didn't want to cut anything off her (first time I have had that type of reaction). Just needed to open her up so that the undergrowth can pop up.

Blue Dream pre defoliation

Blue Dream post defoliation

And one of her fan leaves that I will press and save (something I do for each plant I grow)......eventually I will find a way to incorporate them into a table top or something.

And here are a couple bonus shots of the veg tent before any of the training and defoliation today. Seems like all our plants are back on track and growing nicely. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Jack Herer Auto Update Day 25

This plant has been an interesting plant to grow. From the slow initial growth, to the leaf variegation....she had been different in every way. But she is starting to hit her stride now and I am kind of excited to see how she turns out.

I defoliated her for the first time yesterday and started to spread her out as wide as I can get her. She is staying nice and low and an even canopy. Should be an interesting grow!

Looks like we are going to get lambasted again with more snow! Good news is this storm shouldn't be as wet and heavy and shouldn't cause as many power outages.

The other good thing is that it will be much easier to shovel this storm as well. That heavy wet snow is tough on the back. Having said that, I think I will go ahead and try to knock out updates on a few more of the strains.....just in case. I hope that Ms Stank gets a couple snow days!!

Quick Blue Dream Update

I posted the pics of the Blue Dream after its first defoliation yesterday. Hurt to cut her up, but I am happy to report she is back to kicking ass! (I have a serious crush on this girl...don't get jelly Ms Stank lol) She is happy and doesn't show any signs of being mad at me for giving her a hair cut. I think the ACT helps recovery on them.

Northern Lights Veg Day 3

This girl is moving along nicely. She is loving the ACT and growth is picking up pace. Roots are really starting to dive into the Stank Soil so I expect the growth to explode over the next 7 days. I would like to get another 10-12 days of growth in this solo cup if possible, not sure that I will get it before needing to up-pot to the 2 gallon pots.
