Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

I will be up potting the Amherst Sour Diesel in a few days. I am torn on putting her in a 10 gallon (she is currently in a 5 gallon) or saying screw it and throw it in a 15 gallon pot and see what she will do. I still have a bit to decide. She's getting big.....and she's at 102 days vegging. I am leaning towards the 15 gallon pot since its a strain thats renowned to be a high yielder and I want to see what I can get from her.
Sounds like you have a high ceiling, with that veg, why not?

What a beast Van!:adore::adore: I got a brain meltdown from her:eek: Truely wonderfull

I got the message and am working on it brother.

Thats ok, i now know why you ignored me two days LOL Totally forgot you and ms stank had a new castle. Enjoy it and may it be your forever castle:Namaste:

Sweet harvest Van! Congrats on the first harvest in the new place, which looks great from what we can see in the pics. Love the hardwood floors. Oak? And do folks back east tip over their birdbaths in the winter to keep the water from freezing and cracking the concrete?

Oh yeah...harvest. NICE!

This is the new place? i tought it had a great view, just didnt see how you moved those giants ?! i might be moving soon so let me know what worked for you :) there is a lot of space around there! And a ventilator on the lawn?

Wow nice plant! Another Stank beast. I tried the Northern Lights last night before bed and slept like the dead. I'm getting a bubblegum taste on exhale. I like it!

Hey Neiko, glad to hear its turning out nicely for you. Its half of my night time smoke....goes great with half a bowl of the Hindu Kush. Everyone that smokes the Hindu comes back and says the same thing....hits like a sledge hammer and will knock your ass out. I still want to do a female to female cross of the NL and the Hindu.

You know Shed, I don't know. When we first looked at the house, the birdbath was standing. When we closed on the house we came out and it was layed over. My thought was what you said....they must knock them over so they don't freeze and crack. Well its going to lay there until April or May.

Yes the floor has half hardwood floors and half carpet. The floors are oak. We love wide pine as well.

Thanks NS....yes lots of room outside and we are already planning a few outdoor monsters. I have to start looking at big pots....Think maybe in the 100 gallon range. The plan is to start them indoors and have them in 5-7 gallon pots and ready to transplant outdoors around the beginning of May. Thinking of doing 2-3 plants this outdoors. Or course coming up with 200-300 gallons of soil isn't easy, so I might end up backing them down to 50 gallon pots for the first season outdoors. Nothing in stone yet bud.

Beautiful harvest VS. Some tasty looking stuff. The rain and creek water must have the roids.

The heat mat could even be cycled at night, off and on for an hour, and that would keep the minimums up. Nice work Stanks!

2018 almost over...crazy
Thats not a bad idea UA, thanks for that. I will probably end up picking one up cause the night time temps drop down a little lower than I want. Good thing is I grow in bigger pots so the roots have a little more protection than growing in smaller pots. I am still trying to gauge how they are growing in their new environment.

On a side note, I need to think about mixing up another 60-70 gallons of soil for the rest of the winter run. Probably won't get to that until late this weekend or even the beginning of next week.

I’m not really experienced with outdoor growing, but cant you just stick em right in the ground? That does mean you have to deal with the soil already there... not Sure If Thats a good plan....

I am sure I could stick them right in the dirt outside, but I haven't done any soil analysis yet so it could be crap for all I know. I would rather use my soil I mix up. I am trying to eventually get to where I have about 1000 gallons of soil all together in various phases of mixing and composting. I will be mixing up another batch in the next week and that will give me about 250 gallons in my arsenal.

I have about 60 gallons being vermi-composted right now and another 100 or so used gallons of soil waiting for being amended to be used again. Just need to find the time to get around to everything i need to do. Anyways, back to unpacking. Still have stuff we need that we haven't found yet LOL.

Congrats on the awesome harvest!

Curious about starting plants indoors to put outdoors. I've been told a few times that lights on needs to stay pretty much the same throughout the grow (which doesn't totally make sense seeing as that time changes when they're outdoors, albeit a slow change) so do you estimate when you'll put them out and make that sunrise time your lights on time? Approximately when will you start them?

Thanks!

Yeah thats what i tought of. 2 years ago i would not even think about it probably...tough i bought 41 bags of 60Liter dirt at that moment;)

I'm sure you will soon have alot of medium ready to use. Is the new house/property bigger? There was a vision brieflie of you riding a bulldozer...

The moment you realise everything sort of has its place .... its 6 months ahead from now imo... moved about 24 times in my life(not sure how i managed) and it never totally works perfectly hehe. I should have bought a RV:surf:

Good day Stanks! How was your weekend at the harvest cup?

Hey Yeti, we had a great time. We missed @stoneotter and @FutRfarmer while we were there but it was pretty cool. Hung out and chatted with Mr Soul from Brothers Grimm as well as Jinxproof (good dude) from Jinxproof Genetics, Oscar from Mosca Seeds, and the guy from Annunaki Genetics. Kinda cool to get to shoot the shit about breeding and growing with them.

I don't even know who won any of the catagories....I couldn't find anything with the results. All in all it was a great time. I snagged a few new strains. Picked up Sour Pineapple and Black Cherry Soda Bx from Annunaki, some 9lb Hammer from Jinxproof, and some Raspberry Boggie from Mosca.

Mr Nice had a booth there but he was pretty crowded and I never made it back to him. Good times and Ms Stank was a sport and let me have all my fun there.

What a harvest! As always, you do it right.
Thanks Gramps!! Busy bagging it up for fridge and getting ready to make a few Cobs from the Meltdown! Getting close to chopping the Hawaiian Mayan Gold as well. She's at 68 and I don't plan on letting her go much past 70-72 days. Cheers brother! Good seeing swing through ya old fart!

That sounds like a great time. Jinx and Annunaki are two breeders I would like to meet. Did you get a chance to talk to Mass Medical Strains? Do you know which BCS Bx you got? I believe at one point there were two versions that they were working on. IceMud seems to love his BCS though he is not positive it is the legit thing. Annunaki uses it in a few crosses. The Sour Pineapple looks very nice as well. I have enjoyed growing Annunaki strains and will have to try and pop more of them soon. I have heard mixed things about Mr Soul. Kinda had him painted as a glory hound and a d-bag, but have no personal experiences to go off of. I am glad you guys were able to enjoy ourselves!
