Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Bonus Update

I stated my goal today was to find room for Ms Stank's Hindu and we have success. I conveniently waited for her to be needing watering (10 gallon pots after watering are tough for me to lift off the ground with my back) and brought her upstairs. I had to shove the NL in the back left corner to get this girl in. Here is what the tent looks like afterwards.
This will be the lineup that determines the yield for the 2nd run under the tent. I don't think we will have a tough time averaging 5 zips per plant from this lot, even with Lil Blue (still guessing 2 zips off her).

The line-up is now: Back left is NL, back right is WW main line, front left is Lil Blue, and front right is Ms Stanks Hindu Kush.

I'm going to wait until you grow out the photo version to see if it smokes up the same. If it does I may to buy a seed or two.
I gotta look at my spreadsheet and find which breeders versions of Jack I have. And the flavor!! At least the flavor grown in my soil.

Apparently I only have Seedsman's version and Greenhouse Seeds version. The one I grew out was Greenhouse Auto....I have two of those seeds left and 2 of their photo version. I have about 15 of Seedsman's left.

This is good enough that I would consider buying some of Sensi Seeds version(assuming I like their Northern Lights and Hindu Kush....no complaints on how either of those two grow). I would go with Regs if I did that and probably grow them all out at once to pheno hunt my mom and dad and make few thousand seeds LOL.

That's a packed house! I'm sure the JH gets some of that flavor from your Stank Soil. Though I'd be thrilled to have the pepper smell. It's one of my faves.
Man you should smell it after I grind up a bud! Such an amazing smell. Its funny I ordered some Red Skunk seeds a while back to see if could find anything interesting in it since thats half of Jack's heritage.

Northern Lights Flip Day 41, Day 33 With Hairs

We are getting down to the final two weeks or so on this girl. She is starting the fan leaf fade as you can see. She is bulking up daily and starting to put on some weight. I still think I am going to be a couple zips short of a pound unless she really bulks up these last couple weeks.

Gave her 2 gallons of water yesterday. Will probably give her another 2 gallons tomorrow as long as she keeps pounding the fluids. Will probably give her some of the rain water I am capturing.

I will try to get some better bud shots of her on her next picture day. She's just too big to move for the good shots.

Monsters colas @Only 33 days! This definitely going to turn into hand size colas! Can't wait! Good job bro!

Never know when you’ll find something special.
I certainly didn't expect my most potent strain to be from the plant I hated almost the entire grow. Ok, ok....hated is a strong word. Very frustrated with her.

I did find a nice amount of seeds on her from some accidental harlequin pollination.

I'll be PISSED if I love my Retarded Baby Jack....

Lol

Stranger things have happened I guess..lol

Thats kind of how I feel. It was an auto, didn't grow how I like em to grow, and of course.....no clone taken. Oh well. Its some seriously good smoke, but you gotta put on your big boy britches (or big girl for you ladies out there) on if you are going to partake!

I wonder if anyone else gets the same experience from the JHa's in that thread. That's if anyone else on the stateside distribution even got anything to smoke! I can't remember who ended up with what any more.
Guy Cavarello (sp) had one of those when you all had that thread, don't remember how it did.

Try giving her some molasses with her rain water. I've had good results with it's use. Seems that by feeding the sugar to the roots it gives the plant more energy for bud and resin production. So you're feeding the roots instead of the plant.

Yeah I know I should take it easier but I am not really wired that way. We did a bunch of cleaning around the house early in the morning and then the lad asked if I would go out and kick the soccer ball around. Probably not wise but I can't tell him no I won't go play with him. I try to take it as easy as I can but I pay for it afterwards.

I was a hurting dude last night.....pretty high on the pain scale if I moved. It was residing at the 8 level if I was moving at all. If I lay propped up on the couch it's not bad. It's staying there that is dofficult.i am down to a 6-7 today so we are trending the right direction.

good morning mr.Stank, and anyone else that suffers from a bad back I don't know if you have tried it, but I found sleeping with a hot water bottle filled halfway works well in easing the discomfort.... It won't work miracles but I found it helps a bit, lean it against a pillow and lie up against it....

morning mr/ms.Stank, the Hindu Kush is looking wonderful ma'am and I'm sure will make you proud.. That BCP is looking amazing, nice clean lines to her growing... And the WW is in the flower tent that's going to be a bombshell I think....sorry bout mold though...

Hope this day finds you well and I hope your back eases up mr.Stank cause it's winter and mines killing me..

I know a while back I had made a comment that I collected a lot of my seeds via my grinder and someone asked me what kind of grinder it was. I completely forgot to share that info but @Guy Cavallero asked me in his journal and it reminded me that I needed to post the information here. I use The Original Black Widow. Think I bought it off the zon.

The grinder I use is a 4 piece grinder with a kief catch down low, herb catch in the middle and the two top pieces are where the grinding takes place. The holes are the key and if you grind slowly, the seeds will fall right through before any of your bud gets ground up. It isn't uncommon when I smoke some of my seeded blueberry buds (Stankberry seeds) that I find 8-15 seeds per bud and they fall straight through the grinder.

When I am harvesting seeds....I don't pick them out anymore. I just let the buds dry normally and when its time to harvest the seeds, I grind a jar of the buds up at a time. Easy Peasy. Just remember.....grind slowly.

One last trick I like to use is I grind over a big saucer that is angled so the seeds all collect down at the bottom while any buds that get ground up kind of collect near the top. Let gravity separate them for ya!

We used to pick out all our seeds but now a jar gets done in about 45 minutes and this is what the results usually look like......We do lose a few seeds that do get crushed but I put those numbers at less than 5% of the total seeds so for the time savings, its a no brainer to us.
