Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Northern Lights Clones Day 38

Haven't given an update to these girls for a while cause they were slow coming out of their reveg. They are starting to pick up steam. I think the first one we will do something with will be Ms Stanks NL 1.2. She would like to make some NL x Harlequin seeds to try. Gonna give that one a few more days and then up pot and get her flowering. The other two have plans but we aren't ready for them yet.

Two of the clones topped themselves. Ms Stanks topped herself into three shoots, You can see it in one of the shots below. The other one, 1.3, topped itself into the more traditional two tops. The other one is behaving itself thus far.

Wow! Van Stank, you have some mighty fine looking greenish living things there. I can just imagine them in the dead of dark under that fan... rustling. How positively creepy.

Okay maybe not,But I firmly believe in imagining stories about every mundane thing you can. Like the plants in the dark at night. Rustling. Don't mind me. I sometimes imagine my own plants uprooting themselves and strangling the wife-bot and I without warning, too. Late at night. After a few big bowls of paranoi-inducing sativas, you know. Actually i think i might smoke a few bowls of Big Bud. That shit puts me right to sleep in no time.

But seriously beautiful plants. And great pics btw. What do you use to take those with? When I don't mind going through the extra hassle I use my Nikon D7000. Usually it is just easier to use the crappy camera on the phone. Bu now I've got a new beautiful Samsung phone that has a great camera on it so my pics are turning out much better. I even posted this video with beautiful colour separation though it was upside down as several followers pointed out to me. Still it looked beautiful.

But what are you using for these pics? Are you doctoring them before posting and if so with what program? Hope you don't mind the questions. Your pics have a definite "studio feel" primarily because they are shot inside with studio like lighting. My plants are shot outside because they live outside. Cannot possibly look the same. Ever.

I'm too high and rambling. I'll be embarrassed about this post in the morning, I'm sure. But until then time to smoke a bowl and then head to bed.

Gnite all.
Magnus.

I don't think anyone dies up here because of the heat. Maybe the cold, perhaps... But the heat? Possibly in the Okanagan Valley,BC or the British Block in Alberta, maybe. Hmmmm. Worth turning into a research project, methinks.

Climate continues to get more and more unpredictable...these heat waves, storms, etc will continue to get worse...even if you are in the "this is naturally occurring" camp that still doesn't change the weather (or its costly effects) that we can all see with our eyes. We are in a 5b USDA zone, but we plan to be able to grow things in the range of 4a-7b....sounds silly, right? But at the rate things are going we could be at either in 20 years (at least seasonally and in spikes). I keep telling my kids the climate is going to be the biggest issue when they are my age....

We just got 1.5" (3.8cm) of rain on Thursday...I told someone "glad we got that rain"...they crinkled their nose and said "why?"...uh, because we are technically still in a (moderate) drought like half of the US.

We’ve had rain everyday for a week and a half. Just in time for the fireworks tonight which will be clear. I like knowing I have to worry a little less about burning something up.

LOL, thats funny. You know what my night time paranoia is? I hate, hate, hate brushing my teeth by the open bathroom window. My mind always reverts back to its time spent in the Marine Corps and I can't help but thinking about how inviting a target I make standing there by the open window. Operational security is something beaten into you and its rarely ever far from my mind. I really only get that paranoia after smoking right before bed. I hate open windows with clear lines of sight. Some things you just never stop thinking about no matter how long you are removed from the situation LOL.

Hi Magnus! Thanks for stopping by! The thought of plants uprooting themselves never occurred to me. I might have to zip tie our tents next time I imbibe in a Sativa!!

@Van Stank and @Ms Stank ...stay cool with that heat wave coming through...good time to sit inside and watch some World Cup! We still aren't expected to get it, and I am guessing we are in the right spots between pressure systems...
Its freaking brutal here now Blew. This is one of those days I really wish we had a pool. We are watching France vs Argentina now. Supposed to be mid 90s here this weekend and most of next week. Thats just flat out brutal for these parts.

Boy we're getting it today. Heat Indexes of 109 in my area today :(

I didn't realize you got that hot out there Neiko. Thats just flat out un-freaking-comfortable! I was stationed in New Orleans for about 4 years and that was the hottest place in terms of heat and humidity that I have been to in the USA. I don't miss that area.
People start dying in those temps, especially if they aren't used to dealing with it....

LOL...he said used to it. Who besides Satan can get used to that shit!

Beautiful area out that way Magnus!

Im still surprised the west coast hasn't all burned to the ground...so many huge fires every year lately
I don't miss that about being out there. I spent a large chunk of my early adulthood in southern california and it always seemed like it was burning down. I remember driving through the crazy wild fires in San Diego back in October of 2003 on the I-8. Felt like I was driving through a movie set....flames within feet of the interstate. I barely got through before they shut down the interstate. That was the day I moved from SoCal.

Clones looking good Van, and nice stacks on that flower girl too!:passitleft:
Hey CK.....hope all is well with you brother. Good to see ya! Hope the garden is treating ya well my man! Thanks for the kind words!

Text by to gawk at the girls......done gawking...... carry on....
