Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

I totally agree! I remember the days of shitty brick weed ( which is all that was available most of the time ) full of seeds and stems. It seems at least to me that once the THC levels are over 20% I can't really tell the difference. I'm not saying that there is no difference. I'm just saying 20% has some hair on it's azz .

Oh yeah brick weed was all there was. We were lucky and got decent brick for the most part. It was typically green with few seeds instead of brown and nothing but seeds (though I have had that as well lol) The first good weed I had was Christmas bud and then Beasters. I got to take two hits of northern lights and that was about it until about 5 years later.

Anything and everything wrecks me at this point. There was a time where I would have been right there with you. I am sure there is a big difference between 20% and even 25% but to act like anything under 20% is worthless boggles my mind. Anything less than that is mids when anything above 6% used to be kind bud at least :laughtwo:

Look for a strain with both high thc and high cbd, thc has the real painkilling attributes and the cbd will counteract the psychoactive element of thc. Cbd also is a proven anti inflammatory so can actually help with long term pain management.

Something I've read in a number of places a strain that is 2:1 THC/CBD is very good. The CBD benefits are heightened by the THC. And as PW said the CBD counteract the psychoactive effects. So the best of both worlds.

Yeah my bank is awesome and I have been with them for almost 30 years so it will be fine. I have rarely ever had to dispute something and each time my bank had it back to me in a few days usually. Worst case, I had the charges on hold for 10 days one time......but there was no interest being accrued so no damage regardless. The fact that they didn't respond to any attempt (and yes I looked at my spam box) I made to find out what was up with the order. If they said they were having issues or whatever, but acknowledged that they had my order and my payment....I would have been fine. I don't need any of the seeds immediately, but just talk to me and tell me whats going on. I'm a patient dude for the most part....but I freaking hate being flat out ignored. A little correspondence goes a long way with me.
I'm sorry, I'll try harder!

Something to also remember is that in order for CBD to work correctly there has to be some level of THC in the product. The THC essentially opens the receptors to allow the CBD to do its job. I know the CBD oil that I give my dog for his anti inflammatory medication, it has 1.6% THC and 16% CBD.

Once my MB2 arrives, I'll be making the 2:1 CBDurban into oils and rubs for my boy too.

I'm lookin forward to seeing some more CBD crosses, meds go a long way when you have the right strains. Lots of AC/DC's going around!

My wife purchased 5 seeds for me to grow out for making her some CBD oil. The strain is called Voodoo Rodeo and was offered by Third Eye Genetics. They seem to be gone now so I'm glad she purchased the seeds when she did. They are a 2:1 THC/CBD strain. Third Eye stated that in ideal conditions the plants had tested at 18% THC and 9% CBD. Being a half assed rookie I'll be hoping for 10-12% THC and 4-5% CBD. I have the first one growing now in my tent. It's a very nice plant with nice structure, thick branches, and so far easy to grow. As I learn more about LST training and other methods of training I am sure this could be a good producing plant. I have 2 nice clones off the mother plant that is currently in flower. I want to attempt to make seeds from one or both of them this spring. If successful I would like very much like to share and get some in the hands of those that can use them for their medical benefits.

On a side note today is the 6th day of Stank Berry #1 plant. When I plant seeds in solo cups I leave the top 1 1/2" of the cup empty. When the seedling grows above the rim of the cup I then "back fill" around the stem. Well I've already done that and the plant is again over 2 inches tall. Gonna have to keep an eye on this young lady!!

19% is a solid number. I see all these people that think anything under 25% is junk and I have to scratch my head. It was not until a few years ago that those sort of numbers even started getting hit on a regular basis. When I was younger I was happy to smoke anything that wasnt brick weed lol! The Blueberry I used to get was killer and the breeders numbers were never above 18%. It would rip your face off if you werent used to smoking anything good :laughtwo:

Yeah these numbers are pretty crazy from what I have seen. I think that there is more to it than just the THC numbers though. The type of high that it produces also makes a big difference on how strong it appears to be. An upbeat sativa high is going to feel different than a couch locked indica. I look at some companies claims and wonder if they are accurate as well. Green House, Sensi, Nirvana, Humbolt, Ace, and a few others to me anyway seem more realistic.

Yeah I would hate for someone that might have been skeptical of trying to order seeds to have dealt with that sort of treatment and ruin future order with other companies that do actually offer great customer service and a great product like so many of our sponsors (Seedsman...my fav, Gorilla Seeds, CKS and a few others). Now imagine if they had sent in cash and got that sort of service or treatment....not cool.

I need to try a few others. I wasn't wild about cannapot's method of shipping although it got through despite being opened but they require a signature which draws attention in my small town post office. Nirvana's packaging is pretty good but I have an inbound that is pretty late at the moment so I am not sure what's up with that. I have had some stuff in my cart at Seedsman for a while now. I really want to try some Brothers Grimm Cinderella XX but it's hit or miss on who has it. I would also like some Amherst Sour Diesel as well as a few more big name classics.

I hate going international but it seems more reliable and cost effective in the long run. You put too much into a grow to have someone send you some bull crap that isn't what you ordered and charge you an arm and a leg. I would be pissed to put months into a grow to end up growing someones bag seed.

Speaking of seeds, I just wanted to share an experience I had with everyone so they can avoid this. I decided to try another seedbank in the USA. Ordered from them.....waited about a week, hadn't received my normal "we have received and are processing your order and we will let you know when its shipped" email, so I looked at the status of the order. It was showing as "processing". I checked my credit card too ensure the charges had gone through and they had. So I emailed SeedGeek (don't mistaken the heirloom veggie seed place with a similar name) and asked for an update to the status. 2-3 days go by and no response and no change to my status. I email them again.....2-3 days go buy and no response. A third time and a 4th time, still no response. I called my CC company and have started the process of reversing the charge, but that sort of service/treatment is unacceptable. So my advice for anyone looking for a new seedbank to try.....don't try SeedGeek.

Good morning! I'm just going to throw this out there..."you sir, have a serious addiction to beans!" :tokin:

LOL...hi! My name is Grandpa, and I'm a seedaholic also.

It's getting so we need an additional bug out bag just for seeds lol

Hmmm....what to grab first, the seeds or guns LOL? I grab the guns, you grab the seeds!! (not sure why that last sentence reminded me of a Beastie Boy song.....I grab the guns....YOU grab the seeds.....gotta make sure dat we gots da weeds!)

Sorry you all had to see that.....I know better than to show my hood side with my dope ass Beastie Boy reference. I have gotta learn to keep things on the hush low.

I resemble that remark Gramps.

On a good note, my bank already gave me the money back for the charges. I happened to go back on Seedsgeek and look at the status of my order.....still showing processing. LOL....for almost 3 weeks. Nothing like speedy and responsive service!
