Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

I am clearing a space in the guest room / storage room in case this outgrows my 4' tent. This plant is a survivor. It emerged with both halves of it's helmet fully in tack. I had to get out my fly tying tools to operate. The helmet was a little tough to get off. Thankfully the membrane came off easy once I soaked it a bit. I want to thank Stank Genetics for the opportunity to give this a try. With any luck I'll get that elusive pheno #4 that turns dark purple. I hope I do it justice!

Looking good brother!! Hope its a girl for you!! Looks like ours are about the same ages!

Nice! That speaks volumes of the conditions over in your garden brother, and growers skill as well! You got the touch bro!

See.....a Green Thumb is a real thing! Just have good dirt and get out of the way of the plant! Give them some tea every once in a while....and watch em go! Now speaking of that, I gotta bust open the Nukehead tent and see whats going on. Been 3 days since transplant and picture so I am anxious to see what they are looking like! See ya'll over on the other journal in a bit.

Hiiii I'm here, late but I'll catch up! I was thinking I already subbed to yours but I guess not;) I think I have them all checked off now. Have a super day!

Welcome Newty! You might be subbed to the Nukehead Sponsored grow or my old "1st" journal. Regardless......welcome to our little slice of grow heaven. Ms Stank's growing the Harlequin....I have the Stankberry strains and I just dropped a Blue Dream bean.

I have never tried the straight harlequin but the two strains that agree with me the most are crosses of her. I grew out TGAs Pennywise and it was awesome. After I moved on from her she got replaced with a harlequin x ms universe I got from dynasty as a freebie that I call Ms Quin. They both have a nice calming effect that barely causes any anxiety. Out of everything I have smoked in the last while these are the two that have caused the least issues with getting anxious. The Pennywise tasted and smelt better than the Ms Quin but the effect is pretty similar. What is it you are trying to treat with the harlequin? I have been looking at alphakronik sense they have a harlitsu cut that is like 20:1 cbd:thc! Some of their crosses are supposed to be 2:1 cbd:thc if not more. Their "The Force Pain Control" is supposed to be 2-3% thc and 16-22% cbd! They look like the breeder to get if people are looking for high cbd genetics. I have not tried their gear yet but have been considering it for quite a while.

You will have to address the Harlequin question to Ms Stank. She selects the strains she wants to grow based on what interests her. I will provide this....we are curious of the effects of different ratio strains as it pertains to different ailments. I haven't tried any strains of any significant CBD for my back issues. She (Ms Stank) is more interested in the more traditional medicinal strains. She will be trying Cannatonic (for her next selection I believe) as well as I will be growing an ACDC as one of my choices in the next 4 or 6 strains. Ultimately we would love to have strains that work on everything in our medicine cabinet, either in flower or oil or cream form.

Thanks for catching me up Stank! I'm very interested in that Harlequin and Blue Dream is already one of my favs!

Blue Dream has been on the top of my grow list for almost a year. Glad to finally getting around to trying it!

Ohh cannatonic has always sounded really nice. I see a lot of companies coming out with more cbd rich strains. I have to look into it myself at some point but I now see breeders selling hemp varieties that are supposed to be rich in cbd and have some real nice medicinal effects. I have read though that cbd from hemp does not have the same benefits as cbd from cannabis. What makes no sense is that they are within the same family so I am unsure what the difference would be. There was a big outdoor grow in my state this year where they just grew a field of hemp flowers and they were offering cbd extracts made from them to people that would help with the harvest.

Ms Stank what is it about the harlequin that interests you?

Oh nice. I just saw TGA's post of the pennywise. Looks pretty damn fire. I chose amnesia CBD from dinafem. Supposed to taste like the original but with a 1:1 THC cbd ratio. 10 to 12% cbd.

I am interested in learning how effective a higher cbd strain is with regards to its pain killing abilities for Van's back and my occasional various needs (headaches, tennis elbow, stiff back). I chose Harlequin because it can be used during the day and will leave you functional and un-hallucinatey (today's made up word lol). I'm looking for more of a calming body effect than a head high.

Look for a strain with both high thc and high cbd, thc has the real painkilling attributes and the cbd will counteract the psychoactive element of thc. Cbd also is a proven anti inflammatory so can actually help with long term pain management.

I tried some air dried Cannatonic Sunday
Nice smoke, not a real big THC high, a bit, little more than the Candida or ACDC

I need to prep and do my home testing on it and my latest Candida

Ms Stank...I'd start an ACDC as soon as u can. It would be a good oil to add to your daily DAYTIME dose

I did enjoy my pennywise but it did throw a lot of bananas. If I did nnot have so many new strains to try I would try to find a more stable female to keep around. 10-12% cbd seems like a winner bud!

Made up words are always fun :laughtwo: I hope that they higher CBD strains help with the issues. I do not have a lot of aches (yet) so i cannot say how well the cbd works for that. I have seen people have mixed thoughts on it. I enjoy the head change so long as it is not racy. Strains that make m mind and heart race are not for me. I tend to stick with indica leaning strains though I would like to find a happy sativa that has no race too it and no trippiness. Just a mood elevator and something I can use during the day without wanting to sleep after :laughtwo: This sounds like some positive experimentation. Do you guys have access to a lab? It would be good to have the ability to make sure you have a high cbd pheno to be sure you are actually working with what you think you are. I have meant to have a couple things I have done get tested.

I have a lab science degree so I'd love to have my own lab! We do plan on finding a lab to test our plants in case the dream of winning the lottery and building our own doesn't pan out.
