Testing for THC levels etc? Labs are willing to do that in MA? Is that a baby skunk?

In states where medical marijuana is legal, the growers have to show the lab reports on their cannabis....dosing is important and an accurate THC and CBD % are important to consistent and effective dosing. Those tests have to be conducted at independent labs. Well in states that have become legal for recreational cannabis, you can send your buds in for testing for the low low fee of around 50 bucks.

That would be awesome! What a way to get to work with the plant we all love. I hope you can find a way to make it work out, even if you found work at one on the side.

Yeah the one around here I think was $75 per test. There is the potency test and then you can do the ter test and then even test for molds and such. I have wanted to get my Pineapple Fields and my Ms Quin tested. Now my Slurry would be nice too! :hmmm:

I think I saw a couple lab reports on that slurricane....upper 20's.....27%, 28% and maybe even 29% THC. Craziness right there.
 
Thats a bean I am looking forward to growing some day. LOL.....but then I have a shoebox or three full of beans i am looking forward to growing some day.
 
Speaking of seeds, I just wanted to share an experience I had with everyone so they can avoid this. I decided to try another seedbank in the USA. Ordered from them.....waited about a week, hadn't received my normal "we have received and are processing your order and we will let you know when its shipped" email, so I looked at the status of the order. It was showing as "processing". I checked my credit card too ensure the charges had gone through and they had. So I emailed SeedGeek (don't mistaken the heirloom veggie seed place with a similar name) and asked for an update to the status. 2-3 days go by and no response and no change to my status. I email them again.....2-3 days go buy and no response. A third time and a 4th time, still no response. I called my CC company and have started the process of reversing the charge, but that sort of service/treatment is unacceptable. So my advice for anyone looking for a new seedbank to try.....don't try SeedGeek.

Damn man! that sucks. I will be sure to avoid them. Even the small time people I have dealt with that I have had to send cash or money orders to have always done me right. I hope you are able to recoup your money without too much trouble

Yeah my bank is awesome and I have been with them for almost 30 years so it will be fine. I have rarely ever had to dispute something and each time my bank had it back to me in a few days usually. Worst case, I had the charges on hold for 10 days one time......but there was no interest being accrued so no damage regardless. The fact that they didn't respond to any attempt (and yes I looked at my spam box) I made to find out what was up with the order. If they said they were having issues or whatever, but acknowledged that they had my order and my payment....I would have been fine. I don't need any of the seeds immediately, but just talk to me and tell me whats going on. I'm a patient dude for the most part....but I freaking hate being flat out ignored. A little correspondence goes a long way with me.

Yeah I would hate for someone that might have been skeptical of trying to order seeds to have dealt with that sort of treatment and ruin future order with other companies that do actually offer great customer service and a great product like so many of our sponsors (Seedsman...my fav, Gorilla Seeds, CKS and a few others). Now imagine if they had sent in cash and got that sort of service or treatment....not cool.

Ive tried seed banks based on Stank Genetics..... A few outa...what ....a thousand my friend....ish

Here in Michigan testing for mold, the level and other impurities is a requirement for the dispensaries. Also if a grower wants to sell their overages to the dispensaries it has to be tested. It's 35$ for testing in my area. I've had some tested with results that seemed on point with the THC levels. One was a chronic haze from world of seeds. It tested at 19%

I hear you man. Though I am not patient in a lot of thing, I will respond a lot better if I am told I am not going to get what i am supposed to when it was promised. Dont dick me around. Dont feed me stories at the last minute and above all do not ignore me! Give me a heads up and I am willing to wait. if I am not willing to wait at least give me the chance to make that choice myself.

19% is a solid number. I see all these people that think anything under 25% is junk and I have to scratch my head. It was not until a few years ago that those sort of numbers even started getting hit on a regular basis. When I was younger I was happy to smoke anything that wasnt brick weed lol! The Blueberry I used to get was killer and the breeders numbers were never above 18%. It would rip your face off if you werent used to smoking anything good :laughtwo:

I totally agree! I remember the days of shitty brick weed ( which is all that was available most of the time ) full of seeds and stems. It seems at least to me that once the THC levels are over 20% I can't really tell the difference. I'm not saying that there is no difference. I'm just saying 20% has some hair on it's azz .
