Blue Dream Update - Germination Day 1

This bean has been a bit of a test over what I am generally used to. First off it didn't want to sink. I let it go for about 24 hours and I gave up and put it in the paper towel. She was a bit slow to throw out her tap root compared to seeds that sank. I transplanted her yesterday after some errands and she started to break the soil this morning....but she was still wearing her helmet.

Shout out to Growchy for the tip on spitting on her she. According to him there is an enzyme in the saliva that helps it break loose. If that is true or not, I don't know but it seems to have worked. Here is the little Blue Dream from 420.

I will post updates to the other perpetuals later today.

Apologies on the crappy picture....I took those real quick with my cell because I didn't feel like grabbing the DLSR. They certainly aren't my best work LOL.

Good morning! I'm just going to throw this out there..."you sir, have a serious addiction to beans!" :tokin:

LOL...hi! My name is Grandpa, and I'm a seedaholic also.

(Everyone in unison) Hello Grandpa, welcome to the meeting. Lol

:laughtwo::laughtwo::laughtwo: We all gather here to talk about our acquisitions, we arent actually seeking help! :)

Hmmm....what to grab first, the seeds or guns LOL? I grab the guns, you grab the seeds!! (not sure why that last sentence reminded me of a Beastie Boy song.....I grab the guns....YOU grab the seeds.....gotta make sure dat we gots da weeds!)

Sorry you all had to see that.....I know better than to show my hood side with my dope ass Beastie Boy reference. I have gotta learn to keep things on the hush low.

:rofl::rofl: Awesome!

Harlequin Veg Day 9 Update

Ms Stanks plants are rolling along nicely. They got their 3rd feeding of ACT last night and seem to be loving it. Their roots are starting to come along nicely. It seems like #2 is pulling ahead in the growth and development department....both above and below the soil. They should be picking up steam pretty good and I expect to up-pot them at some point in the next week.

She is continuing with the leaf tip spreading. I asked her is she had anything planned for training yet and she said "ummm no, not yet". LOL.....we have a winger!! But like they say......"everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face" LOL. I am sure she will surprise us all with something.

Anywho......here are the twin Harleys

Stankberry and Blue Dream Update

Stankberry Seedling Day 5

Apparently the Stankberry strain is a grower. I am getting lots of vertical growth from these things. I have them in front of my smallest fan tonight for a few hours to start strengthening their stems up. Not much else to report as they are still living in the dome for another 2 days.

Blue Dream Update

After our complication at birth, things have settled down nicely. The latest official addition to the Stank Genetics garden....hope she lives up to my hopes. I have been looking forward to growing Blue Dream for almost a year now............and we are off.......with a little bit of a unexpected visitor. Seems like the shell I had to remove from her this morning wants to stay around for a bit LOL. I will let it dry out a bit and get it off the stem after she has hardened up a bit. Her stem is awfully delicate right now, I don't want to hurt her.

So just one Blue Dream sprout? The seeds were feminized?

So just one Blue Dream sprout? The seeds were feminized?

Yeah it was a feminized so I only dropped one. One if by girl, two if by who knows!

Looking good at the Stank family farm! My HSO blue dream seeds were also stubborn. 1 of 2 sprouted.

That one turned out nicely for you! This one was definitely stubborn....but she's up now so lets see if we can turn her into a moose.

Harlequin Veg Day 12 Update

We have the last update of Ms Stank's first crop before they get up-potted. The roots on these plants are progressing nicely. They got another feeding of ACT yesterday and are looking really strong.

Hope that everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed the game.

Van, dumb question. Do you water with PhD water after using your ACT.....like to dilute?

Looking good over here van and miss stank! Wishing you both a wondeful week .

I have not been pH'ing my ACT.....trusting that the herd is going to do what its supposed to do. I haven't even checked pH a single time other than to look at what my tap water pH was after aerating it for 48 hours (Dropped from normal range of 9.2/9.3 down to about 7.5) just to see what it was. Plants truly seem to love the ACT in its current strength in conjunction with the Stank Soil. When they tell me they aren't happy, I will change something. I also don't dilute my ACT since I don't mix it very strong. I mix it on the weak side and just water with it. My ratios are 2.5 gallons of water, 1 cup of EWC and 1/2 teaspoon finely ground dried Kelp that are brewed for 24-48 hours.

Beautiful babies.

Thanks Newty! They are definitely happy and healthy! Thanks for stopping in!

Hey Dabber, thanks for swinging through and thanks for the kind words. Had a little snow this morning but it seems to have stopped unfortunately. How is the trimming coming along? Have you finished clearing out your bathtub yet LOL?

I wish.... I was originally confused how it took you so long to trim up that last harvest of yours. Now I'm just amazed you got it done so fast .. I'm going to start whacking the Lilly today, if not she may try to do the deed herself.

Who was your Lilly from? And yeah trimming sucks. Honestly the harvest part played a large role into switching to a perpetual grow. Its highly unlikely that I will need to harvest more than two plants at any given time and most times I should have a week or two in between all harvests.
