Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Stankberry Flip Day 51, Day 44 with Hairs

Afternoon gang! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Today is a relax and chill and let the back recover day. Only thing to do with the plants today was to water the Stankberry and do updates on the Stankberry and on Ms Stanks Hindu.

The Stankberry girl is slowing down on her drinking a bit. Instead of a gallon, like usual....she only took about 3/4 of a gallon. I decided to cut a little tester bud and I have it hanging to dry for a couple days. Smells so much like blueberry today! We took a peek at the trichomes but all still pretty much clear (as I figured). Definitely starting down the home stretch though!

Alright a few pics to get you warmed up for some good bud porn....

And the good stuff......

Superb....as usual. I can't expect any less at this point...... :thumb:

Busted out some of our farm raised ribs on a cloudy, cool Maine day. Defrosted by the fire, Pit Barreled them, desert was marshmallows over the embers. The way life should be....

Stankberry Flip Day 44, Day 37 With Hairs

We are getting to the fun time here gang. Those colas are sway and starting to lean. I squeezed a cola for the first time and WOW....dense dense dense dense!!! So much denser than growing under the previous lights. She is smelling so deliciously berry now. I had Ms Stank give her a squeeze and then she sniffed her fingers....she was pretty impressed with the fruity berry scent.

I may have to give the main 4 colas some support in its final couple weeks. Not really sure what to expect for a harvest time. Mom strain was a 55-65 day strain, Dad was a 70-75 day strain so I am guessing 60-70. She is going to fatten up A LOT before then. I have been treating her with ground malted barley, and according to @bobrown14 that will reduce the flower time a bit. Her bigger fan leaves are giving everything back to her now.

She got another drink of 1/2 ACT and 1/2 water with touch of Cal Mag today (about a gallon). I am giving her everything she wants at this point but its tougher to listen to her as she is winding down and leaves are starting to turn.

Amazing structure, looks like a keeper! What was the cross on this again? Killed it with your first breeding project my friend

Mighty nice looking buds Mr et Ms Stank!:battingeyelashes: Happy Sunday!

Hey Lady G! Thanks for the kind words. They smell much better than they look!!

More rib porn please....

Sorry Blew, I don't pause much for pictures on the first batch of ribs of the season. Next time I will get more....you won't have to wait long....week or two tops!

Hey Bonsai, we appreciate the kind words. Garden is definitely fun to spend time in right now. We just came down from a little looky lou with the girls before lights out. Some nice smells swirling around in there...let me tell ya!

LOL....yeah you would have to find a really big cola bottle to put up next to those main colas on the Stankberry. They are rock solid too!

Damn Blew....that looks awesome. Nice touch with the marshmellows.

Do you guys have skeeter issues up there? I know my aunt had major skeeters up in Bar Harbor. Damn things would eat you alive.

Hey CK, nice to see ya brother! Yeah, we are very pleased with the way this strain grew out for her maiden grow. She smells great.....scents shift a little but mainly getting berries, heavy blueberry, and even some bubblegum smell to her.

Excited to try our DTF next time we drop our own line. Might have to wait a bit on that though...gotta get some girls harvested and still gotta drop some Carnivale for the next slot.

Impressive stuff, what do you think is making the tips curl? Haven't seen that before.

Thanks Killer. Ya know....I am not sure what's causing that little leaf tip curl you see. One thing it could have been (as it aligned to the timeline of this particular watering) was something I added into the ACT. My guy from the grow store always gives me free shit and he gave me something called Head Masta. I guess its something for bloom....not really sure.....has an NPK of 1-2-2. Anyways, I don't normally use any bottled nutes (except for Cal Mag if they are showing signs of wanting or needing more) but at the last second I decided to throw a half dose into the ACT I gave the Stank girl.

The next day when I looked at her, all the tips were curled. Last thing I mixed into the ACT. Just water and ACT since then and nothing progressed. If I had to guess....I would say the use of the Head Masta caused it, but I can't be sure.

No idea what else it could be.
Beautiful buds :goodjob:

Thanks Sara....always nice to see one of the Sponsors cruising through the journals! Have a great day!

They don't have skeeters! They have pterodactyls!

Ok, all caught up for the day!

So just thought I would share something for any of you that might be easily entertained. I sat down on the couch and thought "lets see what's on the idiot box tonight". I started scrolling through and I get down to my go to section (the sports channels) and I am looking and.....WTF.....American Cornhole Championships on ESPN.

I paused for a second...making sure I read that correctly......cornholing championships on ESPN. Well I have played a game or two of cornhole in my life (shut up any of you perverts out there) and thought "well hell, can't say I ever watched a Cornhole championship, what the hell". I turn to the ACHC and start chuckling and think "Bet this would be a hoot to watch stoned" (no, I wasn't high when I decided to watch or at any point during the match) and about 2 minutes later, Ms Stank comes in and sees whats on TV and chuckled "Bet that would be fun to watch stoned".

Needless to say, we spent about the next hour watching random people from all over the country cornhole each other! Never a boring moment in the Stank house LOL! Seriously though....if you are ever bored and medicated and looking for something to watch and you see some Cornhole championship on the idiot box, give it a go.....I would watch it again.

I LOVE that! I learned about Cornhole 2 years ago at a "yahd pahty" ! Awesome fun!

Black flies just started this week, and will be around for a month. Mosquitos can be bad at dusk, but mainly in summer. We are a mile from the ocean so that helps a lot. I have heard stories of people up in Baxter State Park (which is awesome) literally covered in black flies...which I believe.
