Staker's 2017: SSSDH, Killer Purps, Dolato, Candyland & Breeder's Test Grows

Bean whores all of ya. ;)

I've been getting lazy and keeping all the watering, feeding, and dates in my head.

Day 37 of 12s
ChemD (round2)
SSH (indica)
SSH (sativa)
Slurricane#1
Day 29 of 12s
ECSD coco (round one)
Day 2 of 12s
ECSD soil (round two)

Just put the first soil ECSD in the flower tent on 3/6 She doesn't really fit, so I've got her under the canopy of the two tallest girls, Slurry and SSH. I pruned her hard, hoping she shouldn't get too huge, making leaders for six heads, 12" or so tall...should double or triple in stretch, probably triple as she's not showing sex, she's still vegging out. :)

When she's done stretching, I'll use a hoop and prune her to be a circle of tops to fit in between her sisters. She can take over the first open spot... probably Slurricane's in 2.5 weeks.

good job man, just keep those girls rolling rite on out,its going to be interesting to see which one you like the best the coco or soil!

Thanks brother :high-five: It will be interesting for sure. The soil plant will probably be better, but that's not to say it's the medium - I just know soil a lot better.

One month in for the escd coco plant, so ~7 weeks left. Yield should be insane for a 2 foot tall plant.
I got her (ecsd#1 coco) dead center under the glass, just 14" from the 1000w Hortilux and 12" from the 240w of COB. Underfeeding just slightly, and she's slightly too pale in the topmost fans, but I'm thinking she's getting what she needs. Looks like a slight bleach from so much light >1500umol PPFD.

Nutrition and timing wise, she shouldn't need as much N from here on out, so it should resolve itself with normal ratios. She's going crazy making buds by stacking calyxes, and pushing creme white stigmas. I'll switch to more P&K now, the first month is like Veg for her lol...lots of N, and Ca, she was intolerant of too much K or P in the first month of flower. Nice to be able to have such control and speed with the coco.

I flipped (ecsd#2 soil) at 12'' on 3/6 instead of Vegging longer. The long flower time of 75-85 days will be pushing up against the end of May, beginning of June if she goes long. Brix is coming in at 21, so she's happy and on target to be the hands down best weed to have ever left my garden, or touched my lungs. :)

it seems you can get more yield from coco sounds like things are cruising rite along this grow none of that pest bs! my son is doing something called camp or champ not sure but it grown in a pot of those clay balls and theres a reservoir that feeds the plant through tubes x amount times of the day not sure but its going well for him its supposed to be easier than dwc i don't no much about it but he gets some monster plants with his hydro stuff!

ECSD end of week four, she's straight fire. Transitioning to slightly lower N, and higher P&K. It's rare to see this cut grow. Almost no pics anywhere of her. Lots of contenders. If it doesn't grow all the same weird leafs, and stack caylxes like this one, it's not the cut. I'm so lucky she's here.

There is no 'bud' to look at, just calyxes pushing pure white stigmas.

Got some hash tip, from so much light.

She loves it, but I moved her to the back and put her soil sister in her place.

SSH Day 37 ... three more weeks, expecting to pull at 58-60 days or so. Hell she looks like I could pull her much sooner.

She reeks like fuel. Much like a Chem, which makes me so happy. Going to be perfect for the beach.

Her SSH sativa sister, same 37 days. Should have four weeks left, should go 67. Hard to believe these are the same plant.

Some Slurricane, day 37 of expected 56. She'll get one or two doses of bone meal, humics, microbes and sugar and that's it.

Chem-D day 37

She's giving another push right now. Learning her ratios better, she's starting to talk to me a bit... I'm learning more. Smells are coming on stronger. Getting a bit more skunky. :) What a doll. Smoke is so fucking good.

Jars are getting low ... so I'm

The SSH will be great for summer days, and it looks like I'll have a lot of it. Yield should be around 1000g counting the 5 plants, and not the sixth that I have in there transitioning. While yield has never been a primary concern, the sharp escalation of energy costs (renewables mandate) has made me more conscious of it, prices in Boston are a bit absurd.

Slurricane, I won't get too excited about, until I sample the smoke. She'll color up spectacularly though, and should look, smell and taste great. If the high is great too, then I'll be excited. :)

The D. She's much better than the last one. Once you get behind, there is no catching up. This time, I didn't get too behind on nutrition, and also better dialed into what ratio she likes. I think the last one was about 7.5 or 8 out of ten. I knew somewhere around week 2 that I missed her. This one, is past the big drama show lol. She's got some really tiny deficiencies, but she's getting all that she really needs. Color and smell is telling me so. :) Hoping for 9/10.

The ecSD. I can't wait to see what I can get out of her. Truly. This first run in coco doesn't look bad. She's a dam taco party, but I was blasting her with 1240w...12-14" from her heads. Her buds are almost filled in on all four main colas, and she's got almost 2 more months lol to go holy shit. Footballs man, huge honking SD footballs.

Can't wait for harvests. :Namaste:

This Chem is as pretty as I've seen anywhere. Great job

Thanks Jim. The Vari-trait is under control, so she's not burning herself up trying to make buds. Mg is the pivot, that unlocks her, but she seems to want it dosed out in small chunks, so I've been putting a pinch of Epsom in a glass of water to dilute, then adding that dilution to my solution slowly, until the EC goes up by at least .25 or 50ppm or a little more if needed. Once a week seems to keep the ratios right, and I don't see it pushing out Ca. Mg if overdone over time, can be soil compacting, cutting off oxygen, and an agonist to other minerals, so I'm pretty careful. It's also pretty dang salty, so something I don't want to overdo.

Now that I know all that, the next run should be even better... I've got a nice ChemD bush in the making :)

That's a deal for the Copper Chem. I may try some of them myself, to see what shows up. If anything I like, I can chuck some back to the mom to double down on the D. Someone will do that cross. Maybe find a Chem4 leaner, and a ChemD leaner, and hit them both with reversed D pollen. :)

At greenpoint now 78$, but on sale 30% OFF USE CODE "SPRING18" .. I might grab these myself lol.

Any of my coco-nuts, know what taco's my coco girls' leafs?
Health and production are excellent, she's making huge frosty buds - just the top few fans are taco city.

Feeding at 1.4-1.6 and was hitting at lower pH early 5.8-6.0 with probably too much light, and maybe wind.
Now feeding at 1.5 or so and pH of 6.2, she's happy otherwise. Heat may have been a slight issue, but she was 83F max at early flower, now about 78F max, after being moved out from directly under the 1K, and a reworking of the airflow inside the tent. I use 2 8-inch passive air intakes, and dropped the intake to the bottom and middle inside the tent, so that cooler air was being deposited in front of a fan blowing at the glass of the HPS. Dropped me about 3 degrees F at canopy with extraction fan speed being the same.

Was thinking of giving them a pH'd watering to see if she responds, maybe she's seeking some plain water.... but I think it was light stress (hash tips lol) and don't want to mess her up just because a couple leafs aren't perfect.
