Staker's 2017: SSSDH, Killer Purps, Dolato, Candyland & Breeder's Test Grows

i
The Chem D would be nice but the ECSD has been on my list of dream strains to grow for a while now! You are doing an amazing job with all of them Care! :thumb::high-five:
i just got three fems of ecsd they went into my container of seeds also got some regs of kosher kush x stardawg, and in the mail are some copper chem regs,i think that should just about do it lol!

Nice who made the ECSD fems you got? The only breeder I have seen make them is People Under the Stairs. Im not sure if it is something he has in stock regularly.

there from conissuer genetics i got them from gyo there supposed to be the real thing they haven't had these for a while so i don't no how long they'll last all they have is singles 20.00 each!

The cuts ... The D is a bitch to grow, but she's worth all of it and more. With each run, I'll get better with her. This run is looking better and she's stinking more like she should. Still room for improvement there, but even the first batch is like wow. When I smoke it, it warms up my chest with pulses of expansion, which when it starts to build, syncronizes with waves euphoria when the head kicks in. You settle into the climb about five to ten minutes later, nowhere near the peak, and already you just start to feel - really OK. A bit later you're on your own personal lazy river innertube, floating along, and a silly wide grin. I look forward to the part of the day that I can unplug and smoke D, and post on forums everyday. I can smoke this all day, and it keeps anxiety away, a mental cloud type of weed, no paranoia. Not great for getting work done though. Only down side for me. Indica enough to have serious stone power, but sativa enough to keep you UP. Even with my setbacks, she hits with power. Really can't wait to smoke the next harvest, and the one after that, as they get better. The one I have shaping up now has great structure, height and health. If I can parley that into a great flower, she'll be a killer. :battingeyelashes:

the ECSD. The smoke, I can't wait to remember :)
The coco one I have is about maybe 26" and she's gotta be 4oz already, with 5 wk left, and she's tiny. She was flipped in a half gallon pot, and I wanted more yield but not too big a big plant, so I uppotted to a 3gallon about one week after the flip, and then put her right under the 1k. Combination seemed to take the stretch out of her. Her stretch is notorious. "So I have this kina short ecsd in coco", is just not something anyone has ever said even once. The soil one is stretching now, and it's the most amazing thing, I can almost see it moving, so strong in hard stretch, even with limited root mass. I'll post some pics soon. Aside from the heat stressed fan leafs, she's coming along nicely, stacked calyxes, just white with resin....I have to add stakes already, she's falling over. Day 34 for her.

Grown last year, this ECSDH fron Conniouisser Genetics was worth the the throw IMO. I'll be playing with my own SSH to ECSD crosses when I get off my ass and start making some simple seeds to play with. Here is the better of the about three phenos that I saw, the one I wished I kept. Not too tall, hybrid style and rounded top buds, with a screaming style high, such a fun ride.

Your cut sounds top notch. Dialling it in to get even better quality is probably around the corner :goodjob:

All of your ECSDH's that you posted up looked great. If I could source them locally and not out of country I would be more willing to give them a try. My seed stock is pretty full though right now. I still have my StarDuster to work through at some point (another ECSD cross) and I should revisit my Huck Diesels at some point as well. I got 1 female out of the 3 seeds I popped and it was ok. It was not stable and was not leaning to the Diesel side like I would have liked. Problem is I am trying to work my way through a lot of different strains at the moment. I have gotten in more seed runs in the last year than I did in the 2 years prior to that. So that is a plus.

Thanks Con. The dialing is the fun part now. :) She's so particular about her ratios, and environment - that it will force me to dig deeper into the nuts and bolts of my nutrition program, and learn more. I'm using light snyths to keep her fed in my mix today, but I'll work toward meeting those needs in a more organic way. Mg is a big switch for her, she'll light right up when she's got enough, but it's a challenge keeping them all in her preferred ratio. Ca:Mg:N:P are pretty tight tolerances for her, and she's hungry all the time lol... a handful.

i remember that plant your plant was what inspired me to seek it out took me until the other day to get some of those seeds gunna grow out all 3 and pick one to keep thanks cs!:)

I hope you find a nice one, I'll peak at them when you start them, see if I can recognize any of them. ;)

I love seeds. I have some ideas in the works, just need to plan them out, but at some point, I'll make some closet chucking versions of ECSDH, ECSD S1, and possibly some SSSDH for fun. If and when I do, I'll be sure to send a few your way, and to some of my ecsd loving friends here. :)

If you mix Ca/Mg in the right ratio, you'll never encounter this problem again.

Man I hope so, it would be nice to have it baked in. My normal amendments put Ca:Mg at about 8:1 or 10:1, so with this particular strain, I may actually reduce my Ca amendment amounts, to allow the Mg to be more available, if the next mix I made for her, doesn't fix this problem. The next mix has higher concentrations of both Ca and Mg, but at about 7:1 micronized powder, and with some crab shell to push the Ca higher in slow release, and still the option to dose up Mg when she really wants it during wk 2-5 flower.

Currently there seems to be enough Ca, but not enough Mg, P and N. Building a strain(s) specific soil for her will be a blast. The SD will probably like it too, they like similar profiles, but the D is a much harder grow, harder than anything I've encountered. The Sour is just sensitive to heat, N and PK boost before wk 4/5, and has a nasty stretch

Never overlook simple bone meal to your mix. I double dose my soils with it, and they still need an extra blast during transitioning to flower.

That would be amazing! As I said the ECSD clone has been something I have wanted to get ahold of since I started growing. I am surprised more breeders havent released an S1 version of it. You could even make your own ECS-Chem D and see what it will bring out for you. I have been thinking more and more about collecting pollen from something. When and if that will even happen is hard to say. Staying within my limit is challenging enough with just females and even though I have spare lights I dont really have another spot to flower out a male.
