Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

It can be used in either soil or hyrdo. And it really is that great :thumb:

hmmm, right then. Are you the owner, an employee or a sales rep for BPN :P

Yea shmokesome you'll have to give BPN an e-mail about getting it over here in the UK, I had to do so and yes you can use it for soil - I've not used it just yet, but I will be doing so very soon :) and I have heard and seen many great grows with BPN.

@sqwheels, your Wonder Women look great!! I can't wait to plant my seed! and I'm loving your journal, I just read through the whole thing, I hope you don't mind me tagging along for the rest of your grow? :peace:

LOL, neither my friend. Corey Stover is the owner. The Company is based in Louisiana. I'm a small grower and farmer in Southern California. I have ZERO desire to work for anybody other than myself, and that is the honest truth. I quit working for others a long time ago. Right now I make ends meet however I can, but I do the farmers market thing quite a bit. I don't get any sort of payment, or even free or discounted stuff from BPN. I say it's great because it is.

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

Beauties Sqwheels! I know some here would LOVE to have that bowl of cuttings ;) Myself included :) I'm trying to keep my numbers down now too, so I find myself cutting less instead of cutting and throwing away. Shame on me.

Anyway, wanted to report that clones that I took to sex some regular seeds popped roots with your method, but ones that I took from a girl in flower have yet to show roots (clones taken the same day). That said, the plant in flower is doing poorly so the genetics may be bad and maybe i don't want those damn clones anyway :)

Keep up the great work.

@ Heirloom, I'm just messin' mate.

@Jimmy C. Cheers Bro. I'm just on my very first so its been all basic for me. Biobiz nutes and a borrowed 400w HPS but I've been trying to do the best with what I got. Light and nutrient upgrade is an obvious and easy upgrade to sort out though.

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

shmokesome...results/pics don't lie. I've just started using BPN, and haven't had a harvest with it yet. That's what this journal is all about. If you check out the BPN army here @ 420mag you'll see lots of folks using it with really good results. Corey is a great sponsor, a wonderful source of information and a very helpful member here ... talk to him, I'm sure if it can be worked out he'll do what he can to get you some.

heirloom...haha, that's funny, did kinda sound like a posterchild. How long have you been using BPN? which series?

JimmyC...Don't mind at all...happy to have you along. :welcome: Get comfy, it's gonna move a little slow for now...won't be flowering until fall when the heat breaks. I've been growing wonder woman for over a year now, see my other journals for more of her. She's one of my favorites. She's easy to grow and very forgiving of abuse...trust me I know  I've abused her a few times and she always shines thru despite me. Good luck with yours, if you have any ??'s don't hesitate to ask.

Surfbuddy...Thank you, yep, they don't look too bad. I discovered a burnt cfl today...not sure how long it's been out, but it sure looks brighter in there today after replacing it duh, I can't believe I didn't notice right away.

It just kills me every time I have to throw a bunch of cuttings in the trash, it just seems like such a waste. Happy to hear you got some positive results with simple cut/water/cloning...I was under the impression you couldn't clone a plant in flower so don't be too disappointed if it doesn't root. It might be that it's using so much energy to flower that it can't grow roots too. I'd try a piece that doesn't have a big flower, maybe from somewhere low on the plant...if you really want to preserve that strain you might want to try to re-veg her after you harvest her flowers. I think it's hard on the plant but I've read about it and know it can be done.

bid...:byebye: nice to see you... I've been watching your video's, nice job...haven't caught up yet tho. sorry, there just isn't enough time in the day to get everything done AND 420. Thanks for stopping in.

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

The 2 part, and I just started using it this grow. Introduced it to some friends. They are thrilled with the results too. I'm going to switch this grow over to the 3 part eventually (it's a perpetual system). Next year I'm doing an outdoor and will use the BPN organic line. I'm not saying that other nutes are bad, not at all. But Corey is a small business, I'm not even sure he has employees. I respect that and can relate having been a small and medium sized business owner myself. I guess, for me, it's a multi-faceted affection for BPN. It is a great product, easy to use, low cost, he's a great guy and always willing to take the time to discuss anything you want. You just don't get that with anyone else.

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

Heirloom,

I couldn't agree more...Corey is a great guy, very personable...and full the good info. And you're right...I don't think he has any employees, he does it all by himself

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

Ha :) Ya, I have no employees. I am the quintessential small business start-up in a self-constructed shop next to my house trying to live the American Dream. I have a full time job to make ends meet but would absolutely love to quit and make BPN a full time job. It will come in time. Running a small business and working 50 hours a week is crazy to say the least. But, its a labor of love! If my orders double, then I will have to pay someone to help me bottle and mix because I simply can not handle any more tasks at the moment.

Whenever you need an employee just give me a call lol. Could do with getting away from this UK weather, and it seems that you are making one of the best products on the market. Good work Sir!

Actually I took the clones from plants in veg, but put the yoplait cups into the flower tent. They sexed and rooted at the same time. And ya, I think it is harder to clone during flower, but I took some about a week in (when they showed sex) and they came out great. I did try to re-veg my two best plants from my first grow, but both croaked, one more slowly than the other... yet another technique to be perfected... I'm glad I already had a bunch of clones from both

Sqwheels

I am glad I popped in for a look, they are beautiful! I do not know anything about bonzai cannabis. I read you had some water problems. It must take daily care to maintain ... I admire your work!

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

Looking good, sqwheels! Tried to reply to PM, but still need to get my 50 posts first!

For now, as promised - my upcoming list of strains in flower order:
Motavation, Sensi Star, Wonder Woman, Durban Poison, Pineapple Express

Just got my BPN 3-part plus Liquid Blue! Going to be flushing and switching everyone over from FF this weekend.

Happy Trails!

Hi Corey,

I was pretty sure you were a one man show...:Namaste:

Just goes to show what perserverance and a passion for something can accomplish. Great job, please keep it up! Good luck on doubling those orders...I'm trying to help, I tell everyone I know to try BPN...

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

shmokesome,

one of the best products on the market.
I agree...and cost vs the competitors alone should make people willing to try it. and once they do I can't see why anybody would use something else. And that says nothing about the customer service. :) Thanks Corey for being such a great addition to 420mag.

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

Surfbuddy,

Ok, I got it...I misunderstood the first time. Thanks sucks about you first (best) plants dieing when you tried to re-veg...I heard/read it is hard to do, takes a lot of time and patients. I didn't think about cloning and sexing at the same time...good job. I may have to use that in the future.

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

Hi Buckshot,

Thanks, that's really nice of you to say. I didn't know anythink about bonsai before I saw Vapedogg's in potm a while back...I loved it the minute I saw it and have been trying to perfect it ever since. Some strains are definately more adaptable than others, Wonder Woman loves it but BW absolutely fights training, can't say how many times I've broken her already. And yes it takes almost daily manipulation to keep them under control.

Thanks for looking in, I'm glad you like

re: Sqwheels' Garden - Bonsai Style

Hi PixxelPusher,

Sucks you couldn't reply to my PM...you'll get to 50 eventually :) I'm so happy to see the WW in your next harvest...I hope you like her as much as I do. Are you feeding some molasses? She loves molasses. You could post a couple pics here if you like...I'd love to see them

And I agree with Corey I think you'll really love those BPN nutes.
