Beautiful ladies Mel. How much longer do you expect them to veg before the stretch? If you have height restrictions, you may have to move them further apart to keep them low.

I'm expecting the stretch to start mid-July. That's usually when it starts around here. Some strains take an extra week or so to hit it though. Usually sativa dominant plants start a little later. Anything with OG Kush genetics seems to start a bit earlier, and any Haze mixes a bit later.
It's not really a restriction, I just don't want to draw too much attention. An 8 foot plant looming up in the backyard makes a tempting target.

I feel ya on that, so much rain just washes the nutrients. I tend to give mine a feed every time I do a training this way if they have needs they can source it from the ground and not from the plants reserve.

I can see here the main branch horizontal and all the nodes will shoot up and become a "main" cola.

That's the plan! I may need to clip the ends of Lucille's branches to make it happen though. So far she's not really starting any side branches on those nodes for some reason. Both Jacinda and Donatra have got some going now.

Yeah 8ft plants look good for pictures but Im not too sure how good it can be. If they get too tall and out of control it becomes such a labor intensive job to care for them plus more leaves more risks of pest.

I had a couple Blue Dreams get that tall a few years back, and my buddy had a Hindu Kush get to 7 and a half a couple of years ago.
All got ripped.
Lesson learned.

I knew moving up north would shorten my season, and not having a light on them didn't help.
But it's going to take a miracle for me to catch up.

All wanted to be fed today. Still at 1g per litre of MC, and full veg dose of Remo.
I'll be allowing them all to grow up now without further training, just support as needed.

I did get a bit of a headstart though. I hope the season goes well up there, and if you're putting any of them in coco I'm sure you'll make all my girls look like runts!
That couch is my favourite place to sit in the summer, especially when I have the umbrella up!

Had to bend one of Ebony's branches down a bit. It was starting to get taller than the canopy, and I didn't want it to start getting apical dominance hormones.
That's pretty much it for today.
Oh, I also got my neighbour's plants back to him, and passed on the clone from Donatra.
