Thelma and Louise - Day 30
I am absolutely livid! I opened up my tent after lights on to admire the little ladies. Im all happy looking over Thelma and then I switched my gaze to Louise and I saw the ugliest sight. One of her beautiful, fat leaves had a HUGE hole in it! After my squeal of dismay, the first thing I did was to pick up that leaf and look under it and the <insert expletive here> culprit was there. It was some sort of tiny little caterpillar. It was green, but naturally it would be since it gorged on my darling Louise. So pissed! I searched every single leaf, topside and underneath for eggs, more worms, or damage. I took the ugly leaves from Louise's lower stem, the yellow, damaged ones from when she was over-watered. The intruder ate one of her cotyledons (the whole thing!) and I found a small hole in one of those yellowed leaves.

Thelma is doing great. She was not affected that I could see, and believe me I totally looked.
I cant help but wonder where that caterpillar came from. I searched the surface of the soil for any others or anything that might indicate more, but I didnt see anything. Now I have to wonder if I need to take steps to prevent that from happening again, and if so, what to do?
By the way, the worm is now nothing more than a green smear on that piece of paper and tossed in the trash. Harumph! Thats what it gets for messing with my babygirl.
