Oooooh looking at the plants in your video excites me too Jim! They're all so lovely. What a naughty, sneaky kush though. Good thing you caught him before he had his way with your ladies.

Good morning everyone. I'm going to show you first the video I did this morning.
So after that video, I took photos and finally looked at FV x MK closer. My vision is not good even with the cataract surgery in August. Anyway, He has been removed from the tent and I'll grow Him in the back yard and collect some pollen.
So I'm a little confused if this hermied or is a male to begin with. I really didn't see this until I looked at the photos on the PC. It doesn't appear that any of the pollen sacks have burst so hopefully nothing got pollinated. This makes me feel like a dip stick for not seeing this earlier.
I also hope this video doesn't reveal my identity somehow for anyone hooked to me on google or you tube.

Good Morning Jim and a happy Saturday. Classic team looks good and green as always. Sorry to hear you had a dude in your lady room, looks like you got him out in time tho.
I've been thinking that the color of petioles indicated whether it's a green or red pheno. I have two Panama. One with red petioles and one with green. Am I confused on that?I'm like you, MJ - jus' can't get the crusty old corneas to stretch enough to focus anymore. So nice catch! That one looks like it was ready to spew. Ugh.
You must have a green pheno Panama, 'cause the internodes on yours are pretty long. And I see you're already puzzled about the way she's setting her flowers. Jus' wait. When she's finished getting everything all lined up, she'll get serious.

Sent from this funny device I carry around and still call a phone even though I hardly ever make calls with it.
Usually Panama pink/red phenotypes have wider and darker leaves, while the green phenotype has thinner leaves of lighter color.
You will know it for sure in the flowering, the green pheno doesn't show pigmentation in late flowering even with cold temps, and the aromas are sweet/woody (old school american sativa taste) in contrast with the lemony fermented and lemony/incensey aromas from the other phenos, more related to the panama red expressions.
The breeding was started and developed by Kaiki since the beginning of ACE Seeds until 2007, then onwards Dubi continued the breeding of the strain until today by doing 4 more generations of breeding, using a wide variety of parental plants.
We offer you our best F8-F10 Panama lines in feminized format, where you can find the best genetics from the different phenos that this strains has to offer: the green, the reddish/pinkish, the purple one and combinations inbetween.
Description of the mother parental plants:
- Green/purple Panama F10 elite: It's the best Panama mother we keep in our mother room, found in our last selections with this strain. It's a very vigorous, strong and branched pheno, with very high resin production, dense compact flowers and refined lemony incensey aromas of american sativa. The effect is very powerful, clean, psychedelic, and stimulant. Flowering time is around 11-12 weeks, producing a high yield.
- Green Panama F8: Older green pheno that is closer to the first green expressions of this hybrid that had the cleaner and more energetic effects. This mother is a great example of this green pheno, showing huge vigour and yield. Its colas are huge, although not so dense or resinous like F10 elite mother. The aromas are woody, spicy and incensey. Flowering time of 12-13 weeks.
- Panama Red F6 S1: S1 of an excellent F6 Panama red parental plant that we have widely used in the first stages of the breeding of this strain. We selected a S1 coming from this F6 red line to stabilize this spectacular colorful pheno that shows beautiful reddish and pinkish pistils (especially outdoors). This S1 has a more moderate vigour and yield. The effect is denser, more narcotic and physical. Flowering time of 11 weeks.
- Panama Red F8: Outstanding pinkish/reddish mother that produces very high resin content, compact rounded flowers and darker incensey aromas. The effect is very powerful, dense, narcotic and physical. Flowering time of 11 weeks.
High Mr A. I sure I got him out before the whole tent is pollinated but I suspect that there is a possibility I didn't. Look at the one calyx with a fading pistil on Panama. I suspect FV x MK might have shed at least one early piece of pollen.
i have run males and female together and i have seen other people say it,...... buuut i think they know they are there and communicate. i bet the browning pistil is part of the communication and/or a seed. i call them 'stem seeds' from those first pistils as opposed to 'bud seeds' . i think pollen needs to mature to work properly but it does not take much.
lawdy knows there is a scientific name, but thaat science got nuthing to do with me,
hermies are frustrating to me, gimme one or the other. I should have been lokin closer at your pics. i can usually see the herms hermits. but i think you gonna be fine keepin the pollen away.
dubi was helpful to me ID'ing a plant, nothing but respect for that breeder. grateDay!
