Some Classic Favorites & Other Things In Soil

Those plants are looking lush and awesome! I wish I had gotten a bit more stretch from my panama. My experience with Blue Dream was great. Couldnt feed her enough, she was a complete pig. Wish I still had a bit of that left :)

The Mystery seedling and the two clones in cups or small pots were all up-potted to 1 gallon pots. I have very little soil mix left. We'll see how this goes but I'll probably use what's left to fill outer areas of the softies.

I had Pineapple Express auto in my pipe yesterday and I had one of those "don't give a crap" attitudes and allowed the tents to get up to 88 F before using the AC to get house temps down. I hope there's not a price to pay down the road. I'm going to find my red Sharpie and make a note on the jar of Pineapple Express.

My first cannabis harvest was last year in November and wow have I learned a bunch since then. I guess what I've learned most is the cure is just as important as the grow. One really does accumulate some knowledge along the way. What I know about G-13 labs' Pineapple Express is that it is one relaxing smoke. It's probably best used for fishing or something like that. It makes me very introspective initially but too much will bring sleep.

There are some awesome new strains out there. We will never catch up.

The battery of my camera was near dead so I didn't get any individual pics from the veg tent but got some extra pics of the Classic girls at bud sites. Pistils will set within a week so we'll soon count flower bloom days.

I was going to get the big girls out yesterday but I didn't....Pineapple Express of course. Either that or I'm just getting lazy. Anyway, I noted the clawing improving and color remains good. I'll continue to keep Nitrogen down as I believe it affects calyx development. I've been breaking buds by hand lately to enable better study. I love the little calyxes in my bowl. Better flavor, better head.

Congrats to Light Addict and Mr Am4zin for their victories. Just super....:goodjob:

Have a great day folks. Give your thanks and share your joy

Congratulations on the anniversary! You have obviously learned quite a lot. The plants are gorgeous, as always. :hugs:

A year. Ida never thunk it. Seriously I listen and learn from you. I am glad I do man. :thumb:

I got a question for ya, Where'd you pick up those containers, the six sided ones ?

I was really stoked to see the big girls in bloom this morning. They all got out yesterday so I could clean unnecessary stuff from their bottoms. I got a whole grocery bag of leaves and limbs that went right into the compost tumbler. They needed their water so badly that I quit the trimming so I could re-hydrate them and I'll go back today and finish the job. But the whole process made me that more eager to see them this morning. They got straight water which was bubbled overnight. They really like that and it shows.

Several of the clones were thirsty also and were droopy. More pruning required by them too.

I'll get on that this morning since I'm so pumped about these strains. Did I mention that I've never smoked any Blue Dream, Sour D or Chemdawg. My friend's cross should be interesting. It never exhibited any auto characteristics.

And who wouldn't be excited by a Mystery seedling?

Have a great day folks. I am going to vote today. I'm so tired of politics!

I'm so excited that you have two tents that it makes me chortle right out loud Jim.

:slide::Love::slide:

They all look fabulous, but that's the norm in your magical kingdom, so we've begun to take it for granted. I'll try not to do that. Gosh Jim, you've come so far from when we started. Gotta tap you with reps. :kisstwo:

You got the skillz, Mr Jim!

I loved hearing about how parched they were. :cheesygrinsmiley: I've often done the same thing - stopping what I was doing because they were wilting worse by the minute. That's perfect! And look how they glow and preen today! Beautiful. 'Course, now that they're blooming, they won't like getting thirsty anymore.

That's a very promising tentfull you have there. :bongrip:

Two tents is like knowing that there might be twice as much work. :thanks: for the reps. Yes, my friend, I've come quite a distance and still have little understanding of the science. I'm glad there are some growers here that provide me some the answers I need. Something I read by Doc Bud helped me again last night.

You two make it hard to keep a little humility here. They did glow this morning which should give me some confidence but ---- oh well.

One of the best pieces of advice I ever got was..."If you don't know what to do...do nothing". That's where I'm stuck right now and I guess not such a bad place to be since this soil seems to be supplying everything necessary. Surely I added all the N that has me a little worried about bud development.

I do like to break my buds up with my finger nails and I study these tiny parts. These particular buds are sticky, stinky, tiny pieces of calyx and I didn't do such a good job of trimming this Sugar Mango. It's still good herb but it makes my heart race a bit.

But I'm inclined to finish this grow with only Budswel at label strength beginning in week 3 of 12/12. I need to do it with this grow since I have all the back up clones. If I foul it off, it wouldn't be like I flushed $40 in seeds down the toilet.

Cubs win! Great pitching and just a super game. :goodjob:

The Big girls came out again yesterday to finish grooming their under carriage. This morning they revealed that pistils are set so I declare that they are now officially in bloom. :yahoo: 10 days after flip to 12/12.

I read through an old super soil grow thread yesterday and I keep finding things to learn in abandoned journals. These were not failure grows and the mystery for me is "Where are they now?".

Have a great day folks. I need to get things going here at the house.

Finally have some time to catch up on my favorite peeps.
Your plants are looking wonderful, they obviously appreciate your tender loving care Magic Man.

I had a bit of a scare, one of the recent pics you posted of FV x MK looked male at first glance. But, I remembered you said she was pushing pistils.
I need to get another cuppa to open my eyes better, apparently.

This is a truly fun grow to watch, and you do a great job with updates and information as you go. We appreciate that!

Can't decide on a favorite plant today, so.....all of them.

:circle-of-love:

Thank you for the lovely profile portraits Jim. A mighty special touch to the update. That Panama shrubbery is one impressive beast. :adore:

Dang MJ,
Echoing what Sweetsue says, those profile pics are everything. :bravo:
Your plants look like they touched by love daily.:circle-of-love:
I admire your skills and reportage. the chemdawg speaks to me.
Keep it green bruh.

Thanks SweetSue and Stage. That Chemdawg speaks to me too. I do love these girls. Something in that tent is going to be special. Heck, they all might be special for all I know. I'm looking for that "weapons grade" bud that you High Brix guys speak of.

Flower Day 2

Good morning everyone. I'm going to show you first the video I did this morning.

So after that video, I took photos and finally looked at FV x MK closer. My vision is not good even with the cataract surgery in August. Anyway, He has been removed from the tent and I'll grow Him in the back yard and collect some pollen.

So I'm a little confused if this hermied or is a male to begin with. I really didn't see this until I looked at the photos on the PC. It doesn't appear that any of the pollen sacks have burst so hopefully nothing got pollinated. This makes me feel like a dip stick for not seeing this earlier.

I also hope this video doesn't reveal my identity somehow for anyone hooked to me on google or you tube.
