Some Classic Favorites & Other Things In Soil

I've always wondered how sturdy the top support bars are in those tents. It doesn't look like it's too much stress on those bars at all with the ventilation unit and the light.

:goodjob:

Fan and filter weigh 32 lbs. I think the LED is close to that. Those bars can carry quite a bit of weight as long as that weight is distributed properly. A little bit of additional structure gets added by the flat iron base I fashioned together to which the fan is bolted. It was all good fun.

I am so fortunate to have all these beautiful girls in the GR. Only a week of 12/12 and everything looks nice in the Bloom tent.

I've been asked to help with feeding a family who lost their patriarch following the burial this morning so I just don't have much time this morning.

I've been smoking Jack Herer this morning so bear with me. Soon I'm going to cook some sausage and some pancakes. Yummy.

I noticed some slight clawing so I'll need some adjustment somewhere. My Cal mag is 9-0-0 and I mix 1/4 Tsp per gallon. I'll think about this. I fed the bloom tent yesterday a mix of Fox Farms trio at half strength along with the cal mag. Next up is water/water before any more feeding.

Whew....I'm not clear headed at all this morning.

Hey awesome journal and beautiful plants. What size pots are the flowering girls in. I'm struggling to decide on three gallon and 7 gallon and I have the same size tent as you. Cheers!!

High Jgrowlove...Welcome to my world and :420:. The Classic girls in the bloom tent are all in 5 gal softies. I think the FV x MK is in a 2.5 gal plastic pot. I'm convinced that 5 gallon should be your minimum in this tent for 4 (or possibly 5) plants for a nice veg and bloom.

I also think that a 5 gallon softie will hold almost 7 gallons but don't really know how to prove this. This is the third time I've used these and my autopsies always indicate to me that the softie never has been root bound. Perhaps that's the nature of the pot to trim roots at the fabric but I've never felt my grows have adequately been completed. I never rule out the fact that my thinking could be wrong.

Thanks so much Im on my first grow and was planning on using 3 gallon smart pots and comparing them the 7 gallon pots. I don't wanna switch to 12/12 until I give a lil time after I transplant as I hear thats the best way to build roots. have five plants so u think I'll take your advice and go with the 5 gallons. Ur plants look so healthy and seem to be growing great and I can't see why to change anything. Thanks alot I'll be subbed along on the rest of your journal cheers!

There are quite a few growers who transplant to their largest pot just before putting their plants into bloom.

I put mine in the final pot pretty quickly as I still don't know what's going on down there in the dirt. I wish I had a camera down there to observe the roots.

Best of Buds for your grow. If you develop a journal, let us know and we'll all come over there, smoke bowls and gawk at your greens.

Those of you who are following really make me feel good and I truly appreciate it. I have Pineapple Express auto in my pipe this morning. It is super stuff. It makes my mind just wander everywhere....and that's ok, just that I don't get much done like this. :bongrip:

I'm just plugging along here trying to figure out what to do next. I'll have all the girls out of tent this morning for inspection and such. I've already seen some evidence of pistil formation. Ever since that hurricane moved out we've had clear weather here and temperatures are almost like summer. Recent days have been up to 85 F and the GR tents have reflected similar temps.

Graytail called Panama "spikey splendor". She's really into expressing that trait now. She's about 34 inches total height. She started 12/12 at 29 inches exactly 1 week ago.
