Some Classic Favorites & Other Things In Soil

Blue Dream - Day 70
Chemdawg - Day 71
Panama - Day 71
Amherst Sour Diesel - Day 63
Auto Fast & Vast x Master Kush - Day 36

We finally got some cooler weather.

Poor Blue Dream is crammed into the corner over there. She and Panama have a bunch of potential bloom sites and I need to rearrange a bit so they can all have some breathing room. Humidity still runs a bit high in the house here. Except for a few leaves under Panama everything continues green. Chemdawg has some interesting red leaf veins. If I ever get her into bloom I believe she'll have some interesting foliar coloration during the fade.

I'm operating a bit over my pay grade here I think. It makes me want to begin a couple of additional Fox Farm products. I'll resist that but I'm going to start a foliar feeding schedule through the first few weeks of bloom. I'm excited about getting that new tent tomorrow so that I can grow the clones out properly.

I found a brass hummingbird yard ornament in the shed yesterday and decided to stick it in Panama's pot. Maybe I should polish the thing.

Happy Sunday Jim. Team looks great as always. F1 from Texas today. :passitleft:

Conflict with the Nascar race. I'll follow both but will watch the replay to see Rosberg drive.

I think we'll both benefit from this strain.

:thanks: Jake. I'm skipping church ... I'll have my own spiritual service here at the house.

 Me two, or even, three services and that's sometimes before breakfast.

Oh yeah the ladies are lookin great. You gonna have a very full house soon:thumb:

Chemdawg and Blue Dream are two plants I have never grown but have been interested in. Some people are Blue Dream haters but that's because they are overexposed to it out west. There is a reason everyone out there was growing it for awhile. And then also as you know people start claiming they had it to sell inferior weed as BD. Plants with big histories have them for a reason. When BD spread like wildfire it's because it was strong medicine.

Love the brass. Either way it's good but I would leave it. The patina will be enriched by the chemical reaction from your foliar spray. If anything I would get it wet with a little ammo is (when away from your plants lol) and sprinkle with rock salt. Some cool blues will come out. I used to do that with brass pieces.

Being from the East, my Blue Dream was a big hit with my limited harvest exposure. My niece enjoyed it a lot and so far has been siezure free for a while. Im no doctor, but I swear the key is in slowing the brain down. Sometimes when it starts to get out of control you just have to send it to its room for a while!

I've developed a sleeping sickness. I think it's a result of daylight hours becoming shorter.

Bright green inside my tent and it's either very exciting or a cause for worry. I'll chose to celebrate the moment and sit and watch them. Blue Dream is showing no signs of needing anything....her color of new growth is vibrant.

I found another hummingbird to add a contrasting color. The new tent will be here today and I so hope I can get it up and running so clones and the seedling can be moved. I need to go get another timer.

Are you sleeping more or less Jim? I've noticed a definite increase in my average hours spent sleeping lately, and in my case it's definitely keyed to the shortening of daylight hours. Hibernation mode, although my posting history would seem to dispute this.

Your clones are amazing Jim. Can't wait to see the new digs go up. Wish we were neighbors, it's got to be easier with two. :hugs:

This is exactly what happens. Cannabinoids work in retrograde. They send the signal back to the neurons telling them to chill and stop releasing all those signals already. I'm glad to hear that variety helps her. Something to add to my list.

May I ask, is she just using combustion as a form of administration?

Love the hummingbird!

2 tents. 2 beautiful jungles. I can't wait!

Hope you feel better soon. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Wasn't really feeling bad. My primary character defect is laziness. I smoked some Jack Herer this morning and moved my file cabinet out of the grow room and vacuumed all the carpets. Also, I went to Lowe's and got a new timer so I'm ready for the Big Brown Truck to drive up.

I'm sleeping more. It could also be due to the kief I sifted and tend to smoke late in the day because it's kief and more concentrated; ergo more powerful and I'm convinced that it (Ultraviolet) picked up the indica dominance with the short pheno I grew. I know this has something to do with my desire to eat everything in the house.

Yep...I need to find a neighbor that'll help me smoke some of this excess hooch.

Then it's a good thing we aren't neighbors. :laugh::lot-o-toke:

I'm merely contemplating today's chores at this point. And it doesn't look good for the chores. :bongrip:

... hmm, the dog is napping ... :hmmm:

Ahhh. I know that illness well, and like Graytail it's not looking good for my chores either today. *Plops down in a chair next to MagicJim* :passitleft: I'm just making rounds and smokin' up everyone's buds today. :)

For now, yes. Ive shown her your thread and suggested edibles or capsules, but she says the smoking is working fine, she enjoys it, and she has been sleeping the best she has in a long while. To me she seems happier and more relaxed. Ive planted the seed, shown her some options, now we wait and see what she is comfy with. So far Im calling this a tentative success.

Thank you for all you have done to research and spread all the knowledge you gain.

The Grow Tent

I forgot how much I could sweat trying to put a grow tent up by yourself. Oh well....I mashed one finger somehow but got her done. I haven't any idea how I thought I could do this without another exhaust fan and filter. I know the tent will get too hot without this. Oh well...gives me something to do tomorrow.

Light in the Bloom tent went off right on time.
