Flower Day 9

:welcome: Hyena Merica. Love your style.

I'm Highinmyownmind right now. I chose a White Widow top bud for wake n bake and it's gotten very cerebral with the cure. Isn't that weird that the strain becomes a little more powerful just sitting around in a jar with a Boveda pack?

Nope...that's what the cure is intended to do. It makes the taste better by bringing out subtle flavors. It makes the smoking smoother although I still cough a bit at times. The aroma of the bud is refined and the power of the high gets better and better. I can't believe I'm just finding this out. I'm a newbie at heart.

Team got their Microbe Brew yesterday and I think they like it. I looked in on the veg girls but took no pics. White Widow has me in her grips. I think I'll go rake leaves.

Have a great day folks. The weather is gorgeous here again today.

Lovely :circle-of-love:so Jungle nice in there

I just pulled the fly tape out of my hair again  (saw it in the picture of yours)

Hey Crazy B (thought I'd use your middle name), is that what makes you Angry or Crazy? Either way sneak a sample of Jim's Panama when he isn't looking. You'll feel better, then pass it to me. :passitleft: :cheesygrinsmiley:

Oh, and hi Jim! Ignore that top part of post. Just a little green envy. She makes me drool.

Flower Day 10

It's a crisp day outside. Frost forecast for tomorrow morning so I guess I'll put up my shorts and short sleeved shirts.

I took 3 team photos this morning and still never actually captured what I was seeing in real time. I guess Blue Dream is my favorite grower right now. Along with Chemdawg and Amherst Sour Diesel, this group have been a pleasure to grow.

I'll take a closer look today to see if I can learn more about their development at this stage. I'm still battling high humidity in the house here and run the dehumidifier quite a bit. RH in the tent runs up to 75% overnight. I'll need to get this part under control. I'll put a fan at floor level and I'll buy or build some risers for BD, ASD and CD.

Enjoy you day folks.

Flower Day 10

Some portrait and bud shots. Slick looking buds for the most part on Day 10. Panama is a little thin and might just take a couple extra weeks to finish. Blue Dream is first to frost. I think I'll go out on a limb here and say she will one day look like she was rolled in sugar. There has to be something about Blue Dream that makes it so popular.....sticky buds could be it. Anyway....I'm stoned and rambling :bongrip:

Fast and Vast x Master Kush Male

I didn't want to let you forget that I have this pollen producer out in the back yard. It is absolutely gorgeous green but not one sack has burst. Some just look like they're mature but I'm breaking new ground here with this pollen stuff.

Hey Jim, these look really nice, and your male is about to drop, I can tell. How are you gonna collect the pollen?

Hi Conradino23. I'm so glad someone with some experience would show up and tell me it was about to happen.

I have a storage building nearby and I had hoped to fashion some paper underneath somehow and just put it in that building so it would be out of the wind. If I can happen to identify the sack that opened, I plan to just remove it and put it into a paper envelope; hoping that the pollen and sack will continue to dry.

If you have collection advice, I'd love to hear it.

Flower Day 11

Can one count the stars in the sky? Can one count the leaves on the ground? I guess I could somehow count the bud sites but why? I remember attempting to be diligent about the toppings and FIMs but some of that was just spontaneous reaction to how they were growing. I didn't do much training at all.

I'm stunned each morning by the beautiful plants in my tent. The waiting is made easier by the plants' progress. Today I just saw bud sites. Thousands of them. Well, not really but I was overwhelmed.

Every one of these ladies has a different appeal to my old eyes. I'm just surprised that there really isn't a bad leaf in sight. Those are hidden under the skirts.

Am I learning something or am I just very fortunate? I'm convinced it takes time to learn to grow. I'll give all credit to the Creator. What if I find four new favorite strains here? I suspect I'll continue to search.

First freeze of the year here. I woke up to 27 F and look forward to a little warm up throughout the day. I don't look forward to those days when it doesn't get warmer. I put the male in my storage building last night. I hope he lives.

Enjoy your day folks. :thanks: for stopping by and may you all get successful grows.

Flower Day 12

:thanks: for all the comments.

It's been raining here since early morning. Just an aggravating drizzle that doesn't help in my fight to lower humidity around here. Bloom tent has been running ~56% RH. Panama needs hydration and a little cleanup underneath.

So here's the standard photo array.

The veg tent

I think this tent has been in operation 3 weeks or thereabouts. Plants are just growing away and I'm not real sure what my plans are here. I need some brain power.

Heya MJ. I ain't been by ina few days and I just was shootin through and wow man your garden is looking dern fantastic.
That Panama has had my eye since the beginning of it. Not that they don't all look great. Jusa structure of it is what has me I suppose. Eh, maybe it's because I was in Panama in the early nineties and had a fantastic time down there. Never seen nothing like that down there though.
okay man I wanted to say how much admiration I had for that Pan. Props go to you though bro. Great job. I hope after I been at it for about as long as you I will have comparable results. Probably take me a bit more though.

Flower Day 13

What a difference a day makes. I felt like crap all day yesterday but I'm busting out with positive energy right now. :bongrip:

The Bloom Tent is rockin' the blooms. I am very happy with the bud development and each of them were fed 1/2 gal of the bottle strength Budswel. That's 2 TBS/ gal so I hoping all this guano is helpful at the right time. Of course the feeding was a few hours late. They should have gotten liquid the night before.

I left the bottom yellowing leaves thinking their turgor would improve throughout the day which proved to be correct. I've still got to schedule the water/feed better so that the calyx development is steady and progressive. The goodies are there.

Big Nano decided to investigate the progress this morning. None of my cats have ever eaten any plant material. YMMV. She does enjoy bringing me lizards.

All the vegging girls are treating me with beauty and growth. I found a tag for Crazy Miss Hyde (auto) from when I planted some auto seeds in their final pots. I'm now confident that Mystery Seed has been identified.
