I like the sound of that soil mix. I've been pretty happy with the FFOF, but like you, I want more control over what nutes the plants are getting and when.

I like the sound of it too I've had a great experience with sunshine mix products, whether just their aggregate plus, organic, or advanced... I've read bad reviews of them on other canna-enthusiast sites, but I'm just not getting where its from. I've used Sunshine #4 soils for 3 years consistently, many different bales, from different stores, and they all were consistently easy to work with. Those bad reviews must have just been crap growers who messed up their own plants and just wanted to blame the sunshine mix.

My favorite thing about sunshine #4 is its really a great building block to your own custom soil, its very bland by itself, just a great start medium for roots to get going and a very nice soil all by itself... I've actually grown in it without adding anything but nutes with waterings and been pretty happy, but customizing it is better.

Verrrry nice updates. Lordy, you're so sorted. You remind me of Mrs Teddy.


Oh, PS....I am also having problems with yellowing fan leaves on a maturing plant like you with big mama. Flat pale yellow and then they fall. More N did't help but the tops are still lovely. I don't like it either. I'm also kelp foliar feeding. Still continues. Yours, puzzled....Mr Teddy x

That does sound very similar to my big mama ukh1 Teddy >.< I'm puzzled by it too.. hopefully it'll all work out.

Thank you friend! I saw you had some GSC too lets smoke some at the same time and ride the same spiritual wave. I'm actually going to smoke some right now.

hahaha thanks Reg oh how I wish you would show up here and I could smoke you up with a heavy indica of mine like Birthday Cake or GSC on top of a nearby Colorado mountain. You'd be like an extra 10,000 feet above the sea I've got this theory...
that maybe Coloradans don't have the best weed in pretty much the whole world (like totally hypothetically )........ but the altitude just gives it that extra push of highness for the smoker to enjoy

Well Charlotte's Web came from NOCO, so definitely. Josh Stanley is awesome. I may need to get some of that in the future if I can make some extra money. I'm going to save up for a whole extra perpetual grow on top of the one I'm doing. Maybe get a whole extra Mars 2 1600. Just scrog a massive CBD plant underneath it every two/three months for flower for my Dad... If I could pull a pound off it like you, thats definitely enough meds for one guy the way I figure.

CW is great but im pretty sure the origins of that strain come from amsterdam same strains that have helped make

Great to see many growers world wide bringing CBD back into strains. ive been contemplating crossing my unknown male with one of my sour tsunamis (i already know the name i plan to call it if i decide to go forward with it) but i would like to know the name of the unknown strain so i have started many seeds and will find a male i want to pull from those to cross with sour tsunami.

Oh nice! We have a few carrots, radishes and potatoes as well, I'm getting excited to harvest those (except the radishes )
I think its great about CBD too. Research has done miracles for mmj in the last 25 years. That sounds really interesting to make your own strain with that. I'd want to cross Sour Tsunami with Pre-'98 Blueberry, one of the high CBD genetic strains that goes into Blue Blood...maybe you've got some of that sitting around haha I think I'd call it sweet 'n sour. I bet you could get it up in the 15+% CBD range like that. As to stabilizing the genetics, I really don't know anything about that. Thanks for coming by Gfc!

So, a little more info on the plants,
I spend lots of time out with my plants, sometimes just staring at them and picking off leaves and inspecting the inner workings of the plant, other times singing or playing guitar to them, or reading by them, smoking out sitting with them and just meditating on life. Other times sitting out there with them glaring over at people that are visiting the open house next door, wishing they would get struck by lightning and get send away running and crying >.< I'm very protective of my plants, and there's still an air of unacceptance in this county towards all things weed.

Mehh, just kinda rambling now, so I'm gonna go smoke and take some nug pics lol. see ya soon!

great update SoilGal and I love your rant! my last rant didn't go over very well, lol. that was a great read you singing to your girls, while strumming is precious, reminded me of my buddy Rico, when he posted a similar scenario, only he said "sometimes I touch the soil", I love reading shit like that! have a great night, I'm so glad you replenished your medicine supply.
