SoilGirl's Soil Multi-Strain Grow Journal 2014

Beautiful update, beautiful plants, SoilGirl. :thanks: Great garage work too. Mrs Teddy wishes she could get me to work so hard at clearing out the shed. Perhaps I just need, like you, the right motivation...Hmmmm...:yummy:

How's big mama coping with her yellowing fan leaves? I've done the PeeJay Special Bath on my Passion. I'll report back in a couple of days.

Ooh the PeeJay Special Bath? I need to go check that out, esp if it helps! Mama's leaves are kinda the same, mellowing and yellowing. She's just not the vibrant girl she was at the beginning of this journal right now.

Oh goodness, having some GSC is certainly motivating, I've been sluggishly chipping away at the grow room, but really lazily compared to yesterday. it's taken me all day to do what I could've knocked out in an hour yesterday haha >.< I'm about to take another puff and get back to it. the lightproof between my veg/flower areas is proving to be a challenge but I'm doing my best to get around every hurdle I get to! wish me luck guys, and hopefully no more ladder falls!

Thanks for checking in Mr. Teddy! Toodles ;)

I was proud owner of 2 rottweilers, best friends for life. Now i have swiss shepherd and she is funny, love all kind of dogs.I actually love all animals on this planet, but rottweiler is rottweiler:Namaste:
Aw I bet your swiss shepherd is a sweet heart :) I love all kinds of dogs an animals too, I used to have 3 turtles, a hermit crab, and a parakeet lol. Now its just 3 pretty big dogs and about two dozen chickens (and one Rooster, named Rusty)... and a handful of cannabis plants ofcourse ;)

I agree there's something special about rottweilers, I mean Gandhi's my special guy too don't get me wrong, but rotties just wear their hearts on their sleeves and are so loyal they'd die for you.
She must be fun to wash after a playtime in the dirt :biglaugh:
Hahaha... for me, Loki is the easiest wash. Just turn on the sprinklers and he'll be out there leaping through them like a maniac. Then sure enough he comes inside and rolls all over our couch to dry off - he has some nerve, and is absolutely hilarious

:bravo::goodjob: on your grow room...

So I'm finishing up the veg area, Just need a rope for hanging the light in there and I'll move the little 3 clones in to their new temporary home ;) I'll add some pics of the expansion done tomorrow. I have one bong rip left and then... zip... nada.. :( oh well. I will cherish it while it lasts.

Edit: Thanks Reg! We posted in the exact same minute Lol so I missed your response but thank you, Its looking even better today! It turned out roomier than I thought, I don't even think I have enough light to fill all this out but I'll do my best haha.

Oh to add to my short little post a minute ago, outside I'm noticing some increased leafminer activity >.< ...considering a Monterey Garden Insect Spray dose for all my plants.

My dog is similar as Loki only she loves to dry in my moms flowers and anything green.Still she have respect on my canna plants, she knows how precious are they to me.She loves to smell all of my plants but never did any harm to them.I know that dogs loves to chew plants,i don't have that problem.:circle-of-love:

Awww :circle-of-love: thanks for sharing ghaze, your dog sounds like a real doll. Loki's starting to nip at my plants' leaves -.- and he gets in my face whenever I have my bong out. I'm beginning to think I have another stoner dog :O lol.
They aren't super big but they look nice and green.
Oh definitely not, I'm no Dank-420-Girl nor do I pretend to be! Big Mama's name is only relative haha, shes big and old compared to all my other plants, but not big and old compared to many I've seen on 420 mag!
I could probably get away with a couple plants in the ground getting like 6 ft tall or less, but I just don't want to chance it... not yet anyways. Even if it's legal in CO, this county is anti-weed, and my neighbors could be a big pain in my butt if they knew I were growing, especially the ones my family is having a little legal battle against for building a few feet into our property lines...

unfortunately, not all my plants are as green as they should be either. I was messing around with pH and I'm pretty sure it f*cked up whatever happy biota and microbe life there was in Big Mama UKH1 and even Juicy Lucy. Unfortunately this grow, my biggest and oldest plants were guinea pigs, and the younger/smaller plants will be the ones to reap the rewards of my experiments. Joining 420 mag has brought my growing to a new level, there's amazing and helpful people here, its such a great community. Thanks for coming by and commenting! :circle-of-love:

Good job on the garage. :goodjob: Now I'm going to have to do the same thing. Someday. :ganjamon: Your lovely ladies are looking really healthy also. Can't wait to see the grow room completely done. :cheertwo:

Sorry guys been distracted by a lot of stuff today, I will add pics of my new veg area tonight, the 3 clones are already in there and I'm moving the MII1600w into the flower room.

Also my friend is going to drive down and stay a night or two in a couple days, and he's bringing me a 125w fluorescent light I can hang up in my veg room so I will be able to move all 3 of my LED's into the flower room! I may still be able to take advantage of how much room I have! :yahoo::circle-of-love: that's so sweet of him.. right when I was starting to feel broke and helpless.

Ok I still have more to do in the flower room, so we'll get there soon... but here's my veg room update :)
Omg LOL. Loki just rolled right off the bed and gets up and looks at me like wtf happened to me?? :skeptical: That's gravity, dude. I know. It can hurt.
Anyways, back to veg room update. So, remember how the veg area looked yesterday? Well if not that was rhetorical because I'm going to show you again anyways ;)

The way it looks, it seems like I already have the mylar set up on the right, but I didn't. That's just for the Flower side of the area. So the light won't get through to my flower room and mess with the plant's photoperiods, I had to make this little sandwich of a barrier between the 2 rooms that goes like this: Mylar, Moving Blanket + Cardboard layer, Mylar. Here's a pic Lol. I know its a bit on the ghetto side, but it's sturdier than it looks, and it will work just fine.

Here's a better scaled picture so you can see the size of the whole indoor grow area, veg room on the left and flower room on the right.

Here's just the veg area.

My Dad taught me how to tie a.... uhm... Bosun's Hitch knot today LOL. He saw my knot work and was aghast, "You'll have to cut the rope just to get the damn thing undone!" ... yeah uh, I wasn't a boy scout. Sorry. But I do have my MacGuyver/Gruber moments ;)

20140826_213524.jpg

And... he made me drill this hole in the ceiling and screw in this bike hook myself. I guess serves me right, asking the nearly 60 year old sickie seizure man to do my ladder work for me, the 21 year old spoiled daughter... :Namaste: It's good to know though. I also learned to wear goggles/masks when drilling holes in ceilings from now on. ;o .... also quite good to know, but my Dad could... maybe... have spoken up beforehand instead of just sitting there laughing -.-

And here's some looks at the upper parts of the veg room, and the little mylar curtain door that just swings back into place after you leave or enter. I know its all pretty ghetto and macguyvered/grubered but I'm actually pretty proud of it and can't wait to get to the rest of the grow, I know its going to be my best indoor one yet by far.

Ok well that's all for now, time for bed for me, goodnight! :circle-of-love::ciao::snooze:

Thank you trapr :) I know its not the Ritz hotel for cannabis, but it will function and I'm happy with it so far.
??????????? :lot-o-toke:
Building your growers dreamhouse. Good for you:)
Thanks Rado hahaha, maybe not your HGTV special cannabis edition giveaway dreamhouse, but a ghetto grow dreamhouse for sure :D

I forgot to mention that yesterday I painstakingly drenched the garage in a nasty Neem Oil and strong Pyrethrum mix. This place may well turn into a happy plant's dreamhouse, but from day one it will be a death chamber for pests, muhahahah...
