Nice! Will you be doing an indoor journal this winter?
Yes sir I will be! Once I get the whole indoor area set up, definitely!

Nice
Hahahah cool! I'm glad it is, its really cool! I knew you were thinking of me trichs!
Hope all is well in the garden today SG!
Thank you Lester!
Today I'm getting some unwanted drizzle, oh well. My plants are doing great besides that, I just wish they could get some direct sunlight. Its an important time for that, in the 3rd-4th weeks of flowering. >.<
I'm sure your garden is looking gorgeous as ever I'll go check it out in a minute!
What a wonderful update! You put it together very well.
That is a very nice little hedge of healthy plants you have going. I Like your training style
Thank you Lester!! I try, but still not as well put together as your own threads! Coming from you it means a lot!
I'm experimenting in training ways haha, most that I've seen here, how Euphoria and BBK are trained now are just like how I saw you do some plants this summer, tied to the side a little!
NOW ON TO MY "LATER" UPDATE: First off I'm going to go a little more in depth with how I do clones. So far, I've only cloned 5 plants in my whole growing career. Only four made it. But I think that's still a good success rate for a first timer
So first off I find a nice little candidate for a cutting, usually low growth which won't produce much and has at least 3 nodes. I usually don't go for reveg cuttings (or cuttings off a flowering, or newly flowering plant) but my 2 UKH2 clones had a couple pistils so I definitely know I can do it (on top of seeing many others here since joining doing reveg cuttings and plants - a new concept to me!)... Here is a little one I found on my BBK plant today.
I scraped it's side gently down where I made the cut to expose some area for roots to take, then I dipped it in some Dip 'N Grow rooting solution, mixed at the 20x concentration line for "succulents rooting" for 5 seconds.
Then I put it in a clean pH water-soaked rockwool cube, as far down as I could push the stem, and placed it in my cheap clone tray with lid, sealed to keep the moisture in, with a soft white fluorescent grow bulb directly on the lid. I don't use a heat pad, and I also have the cubes sitting in a little water the whole time, despite seeing some here advise against that.
As you can see above, at first the little BBK sprout (which is in the corner between the other 2 clones, UKH1 being the largest clone, and Euphoria is the one on the other side from BBK and UKH1) wilted over a bit. But after 30 minutes or so, she was perking back up (she is the one at the front and right below).
Ok that's it for my clone update. Now on to my "haircuts" for some of my plants. I removed lower growth that wasn't going to produce much and wasn't getting much light so that my upper colas wouldn't lose any of that energy so they form nice big dense buds.
First pic is mid size Lucy's clone (UKH2) showing the leaf/node pile and the now bare from undergrowth stems. The next is my mid-size UKH1 clone.
The next three are the undergrowth branches from big UKH1... I must admit they were hard for me to chop, though I know it will save energy for my upper colas, and there are a few undergrowth branches I still couldn't bring myself to chop. But here are the ones I did.
I noticed there was a decent amount of pistils on those undergrowth trimmings...and I thought, what the hell, I have no weed, no money, and plenty of time today, I'll just go through and pick every single pistil out and smoke it. Yeah, I don't deal with patience or breaks too well.........
And yes, there were a few little teeny trichs in there. It was still wet and sizzled a bit. Otherwise I didn't get much flavor, besides a generic weed-taste. I did get a little buzzed. It took me like 30 minutes to carefully pick all of those out Lol....
On to Juicy Lucy... her undergrowth isn't crazy, so I'm gonna just let her be, she's more opened up and at least some light gets through that top canopy. Its outdoor growing after all, I'm not too worried about getting a little bit of popcorn on one plant... especially if its dank popcorn.
and here is Juicy Lucy's injured hub, from aggressive hand/tied down LSTing. Its healing a bit, but slowly, I'm sure it'll heal up fine and won't hurt my yield in the end though.
Now that we've seen Juicy Lucy, and the Sun decided to show her face, why not have a family photo?
Here is my promised FIM pics from Euphoria... 4 lovely tops, 1 cut,
And here's a peak at BBK's stunting FIM.
Ok. That should cover everything now, hope everyone enjoys and has a wonderfully green day!
just noticed my stupid hair got into that last pic as well. it always seems to get away from me...
OR maybe I just dye my hair! Lol ok, I don't. It's good I'm not blonde, I'd never hear the end of it hahah, I have my slow moments...Now we know that you are not blondJust want to show you mine pic of SSH,i braked her main steem at the beginning of growth.I braked it again 15 days ago again and she responds well, don't worry about that she will be fine.
I'm not worried about Lucy, I'm sure she will heal right up; I've broken many a stem haha.
i was once told, you must bend the saplin for it to grow up to be a beautiful tree.
