Lol I like the use of so many smileys knots! I wish everyone here could come stop by in real life and share a few joints once I get a plant or two harvested, wouldn't that be nice? But I can settle for this for now.

I like it hahaha I may use that in the future, but too late for now.
I usually associate the term "bagseeds" with street-bought, low quality genetics that are underachievers, and my UKH's are definitely from a MMJ dispensary in Denver with sound genetics, I just never labeled the little bottles I put them in... I'm starting to think that my UKH1 could be yet another Pineapple Kush (I grew it in like 4 or 5 grows, got tons of seeds from the original bag I bought from Summit Wellness) because of the way it is growing, and I have a few suspects for my UKH2, but none that are more than just speculation. For UKH2, my suspects include Great White Shark, bought a lot of that and got a few seeds, Shire, same, Chocolope... and Moonshine OG. I may be able to correctly label them by the time its harvested if it has a really pronounced flavor, I'd know Pineapple Kush from a mile away after how many of those plants I grew. The others I'm not so sure, but I'd be able to recognize their unique flavor.
Ok done rambling Lol.
If I'm left just scratching my head then I'll just call them something exotic and be happy that I kept the genetics alive.

i havent really brought a "bag of weed" for a long time lol.. i get my random beautys from seed swaps, and i suppose its a bag seed if someone gives you a bud, and from my own plants from the year before.. if i had to buy bags of weed then it would cost a bomb!

i talked about this in another post, i built a specific closet just incase i got a male. (i find it hard to believe people throw seeds away when they are more valued in my opinion)

i can not confirm for sure, but green lion farms where i get my clones and seeds told me that with organic seeds there is no way to make it feminized 100%. would love to know if anyone can back this up at all? anyone hear about it?

They should be able to use light stressed plants from end of life ..leave the plant growing a few weeks after its ripe and a few male flowers may appear...and will open up with pollen that's from a female plant.

Soil girl, I read Shire, and I remember now smoking a bit of that stuff a few years back, it was, in my hazy recollection, a really tasty sativa dom hybrid of some sort I thought. Do you know anything about Shire? I bet it's clone only, but I'd buy seeds if someone sold them.

I actually do, it was one of my favorite sativas from my old caregiver. Shire is if I remember right, Super Silver Haze X Sour Diesel, with a taste somewhere between golden goat and SSH. Really uplifting, unique and active high. I was stupid and threw the 3-4 shire seeds I found in my little joint container full of seeds, otherwise I'd try and help you out. I also bet its clone only. Uhm if there's a The Green Solution dispensary near you I've seen a clone of it there if you're interested enough to give them a call, but haven't been in for a while.

P.S. don't buy any buds there, I made a mistake of buying a couple grams.... awful. awful awful awful, even if they smell nice enough. Just warning lol.

Don't worry, I couldn't Afford any rec weed right now anyway (priced similar to gold atm I believe). I bet if I took a trip to ft Collins I could find a cut of shire. All good though, but damn that is some fine herb.

The only dispensary bud I can say is fire is from river rock Denver. They do a great job, and it's expensive also, but chronic.

I'll definitely look into River Rock when I visit Denver in a week, I'll be gone for a week so hopefully my Dad can prevent any catastrophic crop failures while I'm gone... gonna try not to brood on that lol.
If you're ever in the Boulder area, The Greenest Green grows some real bomb stuff. 40 an eighth and 200 an oz last time I went, but I can honestly say its worth the money. I'm jones-in' for some of their Cold Creek Kush or Ewok OG right now....pristine, tasty, strong stuff. Boulder Medical Dispensary is also great if you have a red card (or a friend with a red card ) they grow organics.
Hope you can find some Shire! I'd love to get my hands on that (or find out I already have them on it!!)

Recreational is a nightmare. I've seen some really low quality buds being sold at 25-30 a gram in rec stores. I bought one gram at a rec place between renewals of my Red Card, NEVER EVER AGAIN. Might as well water my plants with the torn up cash and hope the money ends up being a growth catalyst -.-
But Medical prices are as good as ever in many stores, competition is keeping them low. I've seen anywhere between 135$ ounces and 350$ ones, but I typically spend 200$ or less. That bubba looks scrumptious Lester! That's a nice purchase

Thank you Shadow! some minor pest issues, houseflies seem to be flocking to my plants and covering their fans in spit -.- definitely going to wash my harvest.... but otherwise all is well! Glad to have you stop by, I know you're busy!
And oh, growing outdoors is lovely, but indoors is much better controlled in every sense of the word. We all want what we don't have haha. Your Medi's are doing fantastic! I'm sure you'll forget your outdoor envy once you get that harvest!

Hi SoilGirl & COorganics. Your Shire discussion was interesting. Don't think it's around out here. Made me think of Connoisseur's SSSDH, SSHxSD. I'm not one to spout off about how good a strain is knowing that strains affect all of us differently. But I grew a few SSSDH from freebies, and it went straight to my favorites list. The happy, positive well being type of effect really made it noteworthy. One of the best in my experience for that effect. Also some interesting info on it on web. I tried to buy a pack but at the time it was sold out. So I decided to try a pack of one of their newer SSSDH crosses, Girl Scout Haze Cookies. One outside now.

one recreational shop in washington is selling 2 gram bags at 42.06 cents.

they had roughly 1250 bags they told me of the 2grams being sold at 42.06 and that they hoped to sell out by the end of the night.

they got those 1250 bags in the morning and stayed open till they are forced to close and they sold every bag on top of other merchandise. that is around 56,000 dollars just from one shop.

42.06 (2 grams) x 14 = 588.84 a ounce.

Hi there raisingcain! Thanks for coming by, Hell yeah it is! Isn't it a shame that other states can't have legal rec or medical cannabis? Come on people, catch up or CO will leave ya'll in the depressing pre-stoned age.
Not to mention we have the most beautiful mountains in the world - ok I'm biased I haven't seen all of them in the world - but I imagine these ones would be damn hard to beat

From a conversation with some old owners of the Greenest Green, it's actually a Colorado bred strain of SSSDH, but mixed from different phenomes/genetic backgrounds of SSH and SD, so the breeder just called it Shire because although it's very similar to Connoseur's SSSDH, it's a different cut that has a unique sweet, sandalwood citrus flavor with less of the diesel fuel flavor in there but the same head punching high as SD. I smoked a lot of Shire lol, but I can't verify any of the accuracy of what he told me in our convo. It's just what I've heard.
-I went and googled it, the general consensus among it's growers is it's just a different phenome/cut of SSSDH with a little more of the Haze coming out in flavor but SD coming out in the high. I sure wish I had some definite seeds of either haha
