Slammy Pajammy's Indoor Organic Supersoil Ladies, 2019! 2nd Ever!

GSC#2 (Day 16)
WW#2 (DAY 6)

Cranked lights up to about 50% and double checked height at roughly 250mm above GSC#2. Gave some water to keep WW#2 soil wet, and domed again to raise humidity for her

GSC#2 is looking good, gave her a little spread to encourage those nice tight internodes! :thumb:

WW#2.... looks the effing same... come on, you're never going to catch up at this rate! Sigh. Not impressed like I have been with GSC#2. I'll try not to let them feel my favoritism as they get older... xD haha ah well, they can't all be super winners. She'll still prolly taste good in the end! If she's real slow, maybe I'll just let her veg out longer while the GSC flowers alone in the cab. Then I can train each to really fill the whole cab alone! That wouldn't be such a bad thing. We'll see, still plenty of time to sort them out

I bookmarked your tea recipe. Thanks for that!

IDK what’s up with that GSC, but if it were mine I’d prolly be as concerned about it as you.
Your research came up with Phosphorus I don’t disbelieve you. Maybe you could hit someone up who’s grown GSC and ask if it’s normal looking? They cannibalise themselves a bit in senescence, maybe it’s that but those edges look dodgy.
 I got an idea. I’ll show you a trick. You have to draw a chalk circle on the floor. Pull back the carpet, you’ll see. Ok got your circle? Now you have to draw sigils and such around it, very important. The more arcane looking the better. It’s all about atmosphere. Candles? Candles around the outside, yes. Now. The incantation. We’re playing with fire here, you know that. Right.
One, gigiddy.
Two, gigiddy.
Three @Ganjagrandaddy how’s it going, man? Thanks for coming. Does this GSC look ok to you?

Haha i like your dark techniques for summoning the spirits!! Good thing I've got no carpet to pull up, should make it easier! Plenty of space in the flower room! :thumb:

I can't promise anything with the tea recipes, I'm mainly just trying out some combinations based off of the assortment of amendments I've got and what they should be effective for, its all pretty new to me! But I'm happy to detail my experiences about them as I trial-and-error different combinations! Luckily for me, it doesn't sound like an exact science! :high-five: good to have you along, my friend! I'm learning so much along the way!

Hi everyone. I think I see the beginning stages of a little bit of potassium deficiency going on, along with normal fall fade on some of the plants. WW is always a nute hungry plant, so complaining a little bit here isn't uncommon. A little banana peel juice or finishing nutes like Terpinator are exactly what they need at this stage.

Awesome! Thank you so much for stopping by!! :high-five: I might be able to whip up some banana peel juice in time, just gotta hit the markets and get us some bananas! Do you think a coconut meal AACT would do much in the meantime? I really appreciate you pointing me in the right direction, I figured you'd know exactly what we're looking at! :thumb:

Glad to help... and yes, the coconut meal aact would be good, and throw a chopped up peel in there too.

Today's Update (47F):

Temp: 13-24 degrees Celsius

RH: 50%

Watering day! Brewed up my AACT for roughly 24 hours before using as a soil drench to water my ladies

20190908_181310.jpg

Nice and foamy! :thumb:

Watered with 3L of tea per plant, and 12 mL of Canna Bio Boost each, just for fun. As always, spread the wet amendments out of the bag across the top of both of them. Nothing goes to waste!

Did a little bit of stripping of some of the leaves they've sucked dry, any that pull off easily with little effort. They're starting to frost up nicely! I love the pics out of the cab, they definitely look even nicer under a more natural light than the grow light! :slide:

Scope should be arriving tomorrow, so hopefully trich pics will start to be included with the coming updates! Thanks to everybody who has joined me along the way, we are getting close now!!

Sweeeet, thanks again! :thanks: You're the best!! :thumb: I'll probably get that going on Tuesday night in preparation for another water on Wednesday. Gives me plenty of time to get some bananas, so I can make some banana peel juice ahead of time for the next time I see this! :headbanger:

GSC#2 (Day 17)
WW#2 (Day 7)

hmm WW#2 is looking kinda weird... not sure what is going on there. We'll leave her be and hopefully she'll grow through it, but I may end up potting her up to a slightlyyyy bigger container and seeing how she likes it. Just replaced the peat cup as it seemed a lil mouldy...

GSC#2 was thirsty, so I got just over half a litre into her, and you can see some little roots running through the soil all over the place! You go girl!! :yahoo:

Hmm... pretty sure she's not overwatered, and she's just in straight peat moss, so not nutrient burn. Is she running out of steam cuz this is just a weak seed? I dunno... just looks funny and is growing sooo slowwww :'o

looks overwatered to me... but also in straight peat there are zero nutrients, so she is starving too if you are not lightly feeding.

Ahh, I thought she would still be living off of her seed stores. I'll prolly get her in a bigger pot of a light mix of my soil pronto, and try not to drown those roots! Thanks em!! :thumb:

Update 2.0:

Quickly up-potted WW#2 into a slightly bigger container and filled it with some of my supersoil mixed with a tiny bit of extra peat to make it a little less hot for a seedling.

Myco inoculant in the hole, then stuck her in, and covered with some more soil mix, and gave her a little watering with 1.5 spoons of seaweed extract diluted into a 2L sprayer. Just enough to moisten up the soil as it was pretty dry and sandy feeling from the container i robbed it from. Hopefully this gives her what she needs to really kick it into gear! :thumb:

The frost on the big GSC is insane!
White widow looks a winner too.
Glad you got on top of the potassium issue :)
:meatballs:

Thanks my friend! That gsc has looked dangerous right from the start of flower, and it's only gotten worse the farther along we get o_O. And once all those pistils on the widow start to lay down, i reckon she'll start to rival the cookie in frostiness.

I'm probably going to run a dehumidifier during the day from here on out to drop that humidity back to like 35-45% for the rest of flower, and get them to pack it on. As long as the missus babysits it and doesn't let it get too low!!

Doing a double update because I took the pics and everything, but forgot to write yesterday's update! Whoops!

Yesterday's Update (48F):

Temp: 13-26 degrees Celsius

RH: 45-53%

Looking good! Still waiting on my scope :'(. I'm feeling far too impatient to wait!! Haha at least it'll be a nice surprise when it comes. Looking quite frosty, and pistils are starting to lay down!

GSC#2 (Day 18)
WW#2 (Day 8)

Looking pretty good! WW#2 seems to like her feet in a new pot, definitely seeing some growth. And GSC#2 is exploding!! That stem is so thick! She might outgrow this pot before I'm ready! Oops!

Today's Update (49F):

Temp: 16-26 degrees Celsius

RH: 40-47%

Still no scope :'(

Got the dehumidifier out to suck some of the moisture out of the room, but it is raising temps a little more than I expected :/. I was kind of happy with overnight temps at 14, but that's alright. I think I'd rather have a little less humidity than a little lower temp

Started brewing up some potassium- encouraging compost tea so it'll be ready for tomorrow's watering! These ladies getting spoileddd this weekkk!

I put some malted barley, a tiny bit of kelp meal, and a good bit of coconut meal and crushed it up in the mortar, plopped it in my strainer bags with a bit of chopped up banana peel and a healthy handful of EWC. Mixed some molasses into the water, and set her bubbling away!

White Widow is getting frostier by the day! And the colours on the Girl Scout Cookie are creeping right up into the sugar leaves!! :woohoo: and the smell is so tantalising!! Hoping I can retain these terps through the dry and cure

Got some fairly cruddy scope pics on my plug-in USB one. But it's got a manual focus dial on the side of it, and it is so rough trying to hold it right, wind it to focus, and still get a clear pic haha. Plus it's pretty hard to see color of trichs. But it almost looks like I'm just getting into amber trich territory with the Girl Scout Cookie. What do you guys think? Looks like a mix of cloudy, few amber, still few clear ones that look almost blue. I'll still give her at least another week, but she might be getting closer than the White Widow!

GSC#2 (Day 19)
WW#2 (Day 9)

Still looking good, little more growth on the WW#2. GSC#2 looking great! I raised the lights way up to probably 500mm or so and boosted them to roughly 75% on all spectrums. Just watching and waiting now!

Today's Update (50F):

Temp: 13-25 degrees Celsius

RH: 42-48%

Still looking beautiful. I got my potassium tea brewing for 24 hours and ready for today's water.

20190911_174745.jpg

Squeezed 3 litres of tea into each plant, with 9 mL of the bio boost for each.

Other than that, these flowers are still looking deadly. Guna try and drop humidity on them and keep it a little lower, see how much potency we can squeeze out of them. Left the flash on for today's pics, cuz it really makes them light up and sparkle :goof:. STILL no sign of my little scope. Come on come on come onnnn, I want a reliable look at these trichs up close already!!
