Slammy Pajammy's Indoor Organic Supersoil Ladies, 2019! 2nd Ever!

Thanks everybody! :thanks: this has been such a fun journey watching these ladies grow up, and it's almost surreal to see them like this now! :'D thanks for the input Hambone! I will probably get some boveda packs to help keep everything from drying out once they're done, hopefully i can maintain the low 60's moisture content through the cure in our dry environment without needing supplemental moisture.

Newcastle was hella humid, it was often hard to keep it below 60-70%, but Canberra is so much drier! I guess it's better for flowers to be a lil too dry than too wet though.

Hopefully i can get my little seedlings established in this environment though! Maybe it'll encourage them to really shoot those roots out. My plan is to keep doming and un-doming them with a decent sized mason jar, especially if they start to look wilty. The GSC#2 really shot up initially, but has kind of stalled a lil bit since the massive stretch. Hope she didn't waste too much energy on stem growth and run out D: . But she does have some decent roots developed already, so she should have access to nutrients when she needs them. No sign of WW#2 breaking ground, so I'm thinking she probably died. Ah well, I've already got another soaking to replace her. She'll catch up :thumb:

Will post some more pics and an update later tonight!

Awwwww tragedy may have struck... I'm pretty sure I know exactly what this is, but might as well post pics and get confirmation :'(. I've spent the last 2 hours checking both bitchezz closely for signs of nanners or pods, and have come up with nothing. So that just terrifies me worse, cuz I've got no idea if this will suddenly become my whole crop D': . But it's only one lil spot on one cola of the white widow... So maybe I'll get lucky and the problem won't take over too many flowers :'O. But it really looks like an immature seed developing right out of the bud! Hard to say, as I'm not sure how the seeds form and develop, but it sure does look like one

So here's today's update!

Temp: 16-25 degrees Celsius

RH: 31-37%

Not knowing what else to do, I put a bunch of containers of water in the cab to try and raise humidity. Seems to be working a little bit at least! We're out of the 20's and up to 37%. Everything else seems to be going fine, lil GSC#2 is looking pretty good!

I didn't do anything with it, no. You reckon I should try and split it open or pull it from the bud? I had a good hard look and didn't see any other signs of seeds/hermies in the rest of both plants, but I know they can be real discreet sometimes!

Quick Update:

Temp: 19-25 degrees Celsius

RH: 32-40%

This girl scout cookie is dramatic! She'll go from happy and reaching to limp and sad in one day! So I gave these thirsty girls some water today. They're on about a 3-day rotation at the moment, so drinking about a litre per day. Today I gave them each:
-3 Litres water with 9 mL Canna Bio Boost, watered slowly until the bottoms of the fabric pots just started to feel damp.

Haven't really gone digging into that seed pod, although I had another good long look at both ladies over the hour and a half that I was watering them and still didn't see anything super suspect... maybe I'm getting worried over nothing :nervous-guy:. Only time will really tell! But damnnnn they are starting to really smell good!! :'D and distinctly different. Can't wiait to see how differently they smoke! The white widow is also starting to peek out of her pistils, and showing some of her sparkles! Can't wait to get a scope and really start watching those trichs turn! Still got some weeks to go though :cheer:

GSC#2 is still growing strong! Looks like a little nute burn on the tips of her lil first true leaves from up-potting her right away into some of my cooked supersoil, but I think she'll continue growing through it and be alright. Now I know why people usually let them grow in just peat or coco or something for a little longer. But that's alright! I just wanted to get her outta that mouldy peat cup pronto, and didn't have anything simpler on hand. At least she's looking bigger than yesterday, and starting on her second set of true leaves! She'll be right, mate! :thumb:

Good evening my friend. The new plant you have in the transparent bottle does not help. There is light in the roots so strain. You can wrap it with foil or tape and it will have no problem afterwards. The rest of the plants look very healthy and strong, well done! Good luck!

That's an interesting point, thanks mate! I'll try and get that covered up to save those baby roots, thanks!

Today's Update:

Temp: 18-24 degrees Celsius

RH: 33-42%

Sigh. Still just waiting. It's getting harder and harder the longer I have to wait :'( . And they smell SO good every time I open up that cab!! But if I've waited this long, might as well wait just a littleee longer. Cab temps and humidity are a little more acceptable, so that's a relief.

We're exactly 5 weeks from the 12/12 flip, so maybe in another 2-3 weeks I will start really scoping the trichs closely and watching for the turn! This girl scout is starting to really turn purple and almost red in some spots!! Can't wait to see that color hopefully creep into the buds!

Lil baby Girl Scout Cookie #2 is looking great! 2nd set of true leaves definitely becoming evident, and the first set is so much bigger than yesterday! Looking like she'll be a nice vigorous grower!! She should be looking mighty fine by the time these other ladies get the chop! :thumb: my white widow #2 seed had cracked and sprouted a cute lil taproot, so i planted her in her own lil peat cup earlier today and hopefully we will see her breaking ground in the next couple days! She'll be hard pressed to keep up with this gal though!!

Time again for today's update!

Temp: 17-25 degrees Celsius

RH: 34-42%

This gsc is eating way more leaves than the WW, even since the start of flower. Feels like every couple days I'm gently pulling at least a few off that have yellowed out and started to shrivel or brown up. But next to none on the white widow. Not seeing any spots or blotches like a phosphorus def. or anything like that, and bud development still looks good, so I'm just chalking it up to a difference in strain. Hopefully enough of them survive to last her through the end of the grow! And this supersoil mix is still pretty fresh, so she should have everything she needs from within.

Maybe time to brew up another AACT, once I can get my hands on some molasses. I've read that kelp meal can be of similar use, can anybody confirm that?

@Emilya Do you always use molasses in your AACT?

Still just playing the waiting game, but I'm excited with how quickly the new baby GSC is filling out!

I love how noticeable the new growth is on these tiny little ladies! So exciting to see them shoot up so much each day! Can't wait till its time to put her in a bigger pot and get to training! :yahoo:

Today's Update:

Temp: 18-24 degrees Celsius

RH: 32-40%

Water day! GSC was looking very dramatic again and ready for a water, so I squeezed 2.5 litres into her and a little over 3 litres into WW. Stripped some withered leaves off both and rotated them in the cab, just watching and waiting.

I might try and whip out the silly clip-on scope I've got for my phone camera and see if I can get any halfway decent pics of the trichs pretty soon, just for fun. GSC is silly frosty, but WW is definitely starting to peek out as those calyxes bulk up! Will be interesting to see how they compare in yield! I think i will have my work cut out for me trying to trim the GSC, she's got sugar leaves EVERYWHERE :lot-o-toke:. And I intend to dry trim, as I know it's more difficult, but it sounds like you get better terpene retention and a slower dry if you leave them on until the cure. Guess the dabs will have to wait till they're dry! Gotta get myself a press anyway... so many things to get before long! We don't even have a bong or a rig anymore! I'm not opposed to joints though

Lil bigger each day! Still having trouble getting a new WW seed to pop, but I've still got 15 to work with, so SURELY ONE OF THESE WILL. Haha really looking forward to getting some sativa seeds once I have a little more money anyway. All the strain reviews of chocolope leave me DROOLING, and I'd love to see how such a sativa-dominant strain compares to these two indica-dominants. But that's so many months down the track, no use drooling yet! :goof:

Today's Update:

Temp: 17-27 degrees Celsius

RH: 28-42% (No idea how to stop it dropping overnight :/ )

Still looking like flowers! I'm trying to distract myself with little baby seed pursuits and go from there. It's impossible to keep this house a consistent temperature or humidity during winter though, so I might have to give up for a few weeks and go for a solo run with this amazing GSC #2 seedling. She is taking it like a champ! So much root development already!

The flowers are definitely looking a little bigger each day though! Especially the WW, she is really getting a defined pointed-top shape and breaking through those pistils. Pistils are also starting to darken, that's an exciting sign! 38 days from the flip so far, so we are plugging along nicely.

Glad I updated the light for the flip, I think this spectrum and footprint have really helped contribute to the frostiness! This GSC is going to be deadly!

Every day she looks bigger and heartier! Can't wait to see how big I can get this gal! I might even get myself a bigger fabric pot and start cooking up more supersoil so I can throw her in the cab alone and let her fill out that whole space herself!

Oh yea, I've been meaning to document my light settings. I've had the Viparspectra hung above this little lady, probably about 6 or 8 inches above her (I'll try and remember to get a measurement when I get in there next). Started off with intensity of all three spectrums around 25%, have been slowly increasing and now am around 60%
