Slammy Pajammy's Indoor Organic Supersoil Ladies, 2019! 2nd Ever!

I love that mixing bowl. It’s so cool. Has a nice old world look to it

Thanks my friend!! We went to find a good mortar and pestle for the kitchen, and when we finally found the right one, I was like wait.... that would be perfect for the plant stuff! So we bought two so I could have a dedicated mortar and pestle for the teas :D. Works a treat!

Today's Update:
Temp: 21-34 degrees Celsius (That's a bit too much of a spread...)
RH: 48-60%

Added a bit of my egg shell ferment and some extra molasses to the brewed tea before giving some to everyone
Gave about a litre of tea each to the flower girls, for good measure. Then gave most of it to the veg friends, got maybe 2 litres in each over the course of an hour or two. They weren't fully dried out yet, this was mainly for the microbes!

Everybody is looking great! These veg plants are starting to get kinda big... might be ambitious to get even two in the cab by the time it's free, but they'll have to fit!! Wouldn't be the end of the world if I had to flower them in the closet, but it's not nearly as light-proof as I've made the cab, so it would be tragic if that ruined anything... we'll just have to see how we go! Looking pretty nice and even though, so not much training needed today!

Yesterday's update:
Temp: 19-28 degrees Celsius
RH: 40-50%

Finally got temps in a better range in the cab! Everybody is looking pretty good. Still having that discoloration creeping in on the veg ladies, so we might get another tea going soon, although I don't want to keep watering them before they need it. Flower girls are looking good though!

I am getting some big growth on some of the tops of the veg ladies, so may need to get in and do some training to keep them all nice and even. Can't decide how long I want to let them go before I flip! I'm also trying to time it right so I can flower all three under the big light, because i think it should be a better spectrum for flowering than the Viparspectra (not to mention the footprint is way bigger)

Looking great. You’re looking really dialed in. It’s a beautiful jungle in there

Thank you my friend! If I can get this deficiency sorted out, I think they'll really be ready to take off! They're not stretching the way they were in the beginning though, so I'm a happy camper

I've got the carbon filter running just standing outside the closet, so the room doesn't smell at all... but when I open the doors, I get such a beautiful stench :'). I love it

Tragedy has struck!! :'o almost overnight, it would seem that thrips have set in, HARD. I noticed a couple little spots that i thought were maybe from water being left on the leaves under the light, but upon closer inspection today after noticing it really spread, it's become clear that we most definitely have a problem! A real shame, as I've read they can be quite a resilient pest (laying eggs actually INSIDE the leaves or stems), and this looks pretty well along

There is a place nearby that sells a Bt product (Bacillus Thuringiensis) for combating leaf eating pests. Nope, looks like Bt is not the best go for thrips. Luckily for me, they also have a spinosad product for fruit flies, that I believe should be a safe (and hopefully effective) option for the flowering ladies, so i will try and get my hands on some asap!! Hopefully with a few consistent treatments over the next few weeks, we can get rid of the pests!

Haven't really noticed anywhere near this amount of spotting on the veg plants, but they'll still get the spinosad and some neem oil treatment as well, as a preventative. These weren't an issue for me at all the first run! Must have picked them up outside while the soil was cooking

Other than that, we are still looking good. Flowers will need water tomorrow! I meant to get in and do them today, but ran out of time. Might get another tea brewing tomorrow as well

RH: 40-56%

Caught them just before lights off! I got some concentrate organic spinosad insecticide today and mixed it up with some water to give to the ladies. I just hit the flower girls today, but I'll probably pull the big ladies tomorrow and give them a dosing as well, before starting a neem regimen

Got a litre of my spinosad water on each of the two flower girls. Mostly as a soil drench, but I did also make sure to try and get the top and underside of as much leaves as I could. Normally I would be terrified to try and foliar in flower, but these buds aren't huge or dense yet and I tried to kind of avoid them. Most of the damage was farther down on the plants than the buds anyway. Hopefully this doesn't just drive them up to the buds!

I'll probably wait 5-7 days and give them another dosing with the spinosad, and see how we are looking. I didn't see a ton of flying buggies, but you can never be sure!

Veg closet is looking beautiful and bushy. I was going to get another tea brewing for them today, but it just got too late. Oh well! We've always got tomorrow. I might get in and give the flower girls some more plain water tomorrow as well, I didn't get to drench them as much as I'd like

Today's update:
Temp: 18-32
RH: 38-54%

Everybody is looking pretty good today! Haven't seen any flying buggies in the cab today, so that's a good sign! Still will be reapplying some spinosad in a few days though.

Gave the flower girls another litre of water each today. I like to keep the flowering ones nice and moist, as they will definitely use it! And they sure seem to explode after a watering. If they were in bigger pots, they'd get even more!

Started brewing another tea today. Recipe is:
- volcanic rock dust
- malted barley
- kelp meal
- coconut meal
-neem meal
20200222_202211.jpg

I like to use the neem meal both for the nitrogen load, as well as the azadirachtin and other anti-bug elements present

Then ground up and mixed 1:1 with EWC

Today's Update:
Temp: 20-31 degrees Celsius
RH: 40-50%

Gave the veg ladies their tea today. I got about 2 litres into each before getting some runoff. Good timing I think, as the girl scout was just starting to look thirsty

I also mixed some of my natural spinosad insecticide into the first bottle of tea that got shared among the three of them, and got the leaves doused top and bottom before drenching the soil. Hopefully that will help to halt my problems with the thrips, especially after another couple of applications (And giving them some treatment with a bit of the neem oil

Yesterday's update:
Temp: 20-31 degrees Celsius
RH: 42-60%

Caught the flower girls just after lights out after a long day of work. Temp and humidity are still both higher than I would prefer, but oh well! We'll just see how it goes for us this time!

Man those veg ladies are getting nice and big! I've been monitoring stem thickness because i thought growth was slowing down a little, but it's evident that they are just sharing the dominance after some of the recent training, and the stem thickness of most of the colas is starting to really even out! I think we'll get some beautiful flowers from these ones!

The smaller white widow is definitely showing some spotting and signs of a deficiency the last couple days, so I'll have to try and get that figured out. I'm wondering if it's maybe Mg? Yellowing mostly in older big leaves, with a little bit of dead spotting becoming more apparent

Temp: 23-35 degrees Celsius

Flowers are looking good! Starting to bulk up kinda nicely! Can't wait to see what another 4-6 weeks will do for them!!

Veg plants still looking great. The one white widow is definitely getting worse though...

I might try and get some epsom salts to foliar with, and maybe get some more egg shell ferment on her. Also the veg ladies will get another tea soon. Getting nearish time to flip!! Although if I can hold out until these others are out of the cab, we will be looking good!!

Today's Update:
Temp: 21-34 degrees Celsius
RH: 38-52%

Flower girls are looking great! Really starting to bulk up and look like flowers now! We're right about 4 weeks exactly since I flipped the light schedule. Can't wait to see them in another 4 weeks!!

Haven't seen a single flying buggy in the cab since the spinosad treatment! And very few on the veg girls too, huge reduction!

I got a litre into each of the flower girls today, with the intention to get some tea into them tomorrow. Drink up, ladies! I love seeing these buds swell!

I've been noticing some dark patches on the leaves of the affected white widow, really dark almost blue. And the spotting is happening more in older growth than newer growth, so I'm almost suspicious it's a phos deficiency now. I decided to get a kind of balanced tea going tonight, and we'll load up everybody (including our beautifully fruiting chili friend outside!!) With lots of tea tomorrow

Today's recipe:
- malted barley
- lots of kelp meal
- some coconut meal
- some volcanic rock dust
- good amount of high-phos guano
20200226_210326.jpg

All ground up
20200226_210443.jpg

Then mixed 1:1 with EWC
20200226_210514.jpg

And into the molasses water for a 24hr brew
20200226_210624.jpg

I'll probably add some egg shell ferment when I go to tea the veg ladies tomorrow, and maybe some additional molasses as well. Then I'll douse them all over. We'll probably do another spinosad treatment on the veg girls as well, at around the 7 day mark from the first one. Then i might do some neem oil treatments as a preventative

But other than that spotting of older growth on the one white widow, we are looking beautiful and big! Can't wait to flower out these ladies! Still trying to hold off till the others come out of the cab, but these might end up being huge by then!!

Today's update:
Temp: 21-32 degrees Celsius
RH: 16-40%

Gave the flower ladies a litre each of tea today with a little egg shell ferment in there. Looking nice and "swoll"!

The veg ladies got about a litre and a half of tea with egg shell ferment and a tiny bit of my Canna bio Flores, just for an immediately available phos boost. We'll see if that makes a difference for the hurting white widow!

Yesterday's update:
Temp: 18-32 degrees Celsius
RH: 28-40%

Flowers are looking great! Veg ladies are still looking like they're missing something, so I want to get some epsom salts to make sure they aren't looking for magnesium right now.

It's definitely creeping up in the older growth, so could be phosphorus still working itself out, or could be something like magnesium still needing attention. Still looking beautiful though! And still not much of a return in the flying buggies!

Yesterday's update:
Temp: 20-34 degrees Celsius
RH: 27-55%

Still bigger temp and humidity fluctuations than I would like. I forgot how hot this Viparspectra runs in the cab on full blast until I started this flower run, so it's been a constant battle trying to keep that in check without winter here to bring the cool weather. Flowers are looking good though!! Starting to get that sparkle!! Another couple days and we'll be 5 weeks since the light flip!

Veg ladies are looking nice and strong. I did foliar them with some epsom salts on Saturday, just to be sure they weren't desperate for magnesium. The one white widow has some damaged leaves from the necrotic spotting, but it doesn't seem to be getting any worse anymore, so she should bounce right back and grow out of it. The other two didn't get affected like she did, so looking pretty good!!

Man I'm so excited to start flowering these ones and see how much this girl scout will give me. She's the nicest and most even canopy of the three (despite the widows being much better at bushing out and sharing dominance naturally) so I think she'll give me a good amount of beautiful flowers!

I'm planning to hold off till this current run is out of the cab, then reset the cab and put two in there under the big light and maybe one in the closet under the Viparspectra, and then flower all three at the same time. That way they should be finished up and dried right in time for us to make our move, so I don't have to worry about moving plants this time. It did go pretty smoothly moving them down here from Newcastle, but it just makes everything easier if I'm moving dried jars rather than a live plant haha

I am kinda wishing I could keep some clones going of this girl scout... I think its a pretty decent growing pheno of a beautiful strain. But at the same time, it was a pretty sleepy Indica and I'm a little more of a sativa pick-me-up fan. Plus I haven't put in the time to get the hang of cloning yet, and I'd hate to start cannibalizing shoots off this beautiful plant for nothing (which is what happened to both of the first run plants haha). If there is a couple cute little ones way down the bottom that will never amount to much anyway, I probably won't be able to resist... we'll see :goodluck:
