Going to need some food to stop the larger leaves all yellowing and dying off quickly .
The potential is there looking good

Ahoy There!
For those of us who mix our own growing mediums, beware. My back has had staples or sutures for some time preventing me from leaning over very well. Dolomite was the only additive to used medium.

I failed to mix enough. look at the price i pay now.

It may have been luck, but I have never lost a plant after such a great start.
Stir baby, stir

And we are off to the races :yahoo:

All the girls are in their final homes !

Cheers, eh ?
Oh, how exciting! I've never heard of Six Shooter... maybe you're supposed to smoke it from the hip?? ha-ha. (Groaner) Anyway, I wanted to tell you that I've learned some really important things from your past journals, stuff that just wasn't getting through to me with other formats/presentations. Thank you for the effort, I benefitted a great deal.

You mix and not make a trough to lay the dolomite lime in about 2 inches deep like the earthbox directions say for vegetables? I was hoping to try the trough method next round. I'm hitting my LOS Earthboxes with cal/mag regularly this run. I'd rather have it in there if possible. I think they have something with placing it above most of the soil action. But this toxicity of yours is concerning me!

I mixed some in my earthbox as well thought that trough was for veggies😅

Well it is. We're learning.
When I was watering by hand I could measure how much cal/mag I was using/gallon. Now with auto watering I have to guess how much water they drink and add x amount to the rez. every day! That trough of dolomite may stop all that. I just don't want to leave it in my soil when the grow's done. It probably will stay right where I put it and can be removed so I can amend my soil for next run.

She gets fed every 3 days, it's in the strain I think, it's a clone the mother and all the sisters did the same. I thought it was something in the water but all my others are doing great, I chased this problem with the mother and her sister but still nothing. It's doesn't effect the bud tho so I just let her go, 🤷

Here's an update on my Sensi Cheese plant.

It's been in the SIP now for 77 days and has grown to 78 inches high. During the peak of its growth, it was drinking 5-6 gallons each day. Now that it's in flower and has stopped stretching, it is only drinking about 1 gallon each day. Does this seem normal to you all?

I'm also starting to see some yellowing of the leaves. It's not unusual for about this time each year, but I thought that being in a SIP, it wouldn't occur as bad. I give it full strength nutes each time I add to the reservoir. Seems like a lack of Nitrogen, so I've started adding a little extra N to the mix. Hopefully I'm not making the situation worse.

Ahoy there @TequilaSIPr,
I have run my earthboxes to one side (opposite feed tube), but I stay closer to centerline. The root ball examinations after harvest convinced me to continue with this method. The roots for the most part do not venture down into the reservoir, and that it would probably be best to start with a noticeable mound in the tray above the top of the container height.
The wick action becomes amazing. Very efficient.

U have a very cool screen name. Mine sucks. :peacetwo:

Although they say that Dirt doesn't require PHing, I've found that if my nutrients are too far away from 6-6.5 in a SIP, it'll start causing issues. Possibly because of the amount of water it is trying to adjust? Prescription Blend was spectacular in that it always self-buffered, but other nutrient packages I use end up around 4.2 - this caused lockouts. A few drops of Ph-down righted the ship and got me green again.

Yeah i have to be careful right now make sure i dont chop her head off im gonna mound some more soil around the base thanks your name is original and cool as well lol

As long as it's still drinking regularly it will take what it wants, so I don't think you have an issue, even though it is less than before. Mine seem to shift down a few gears as well in flower so I just give them what they'll drink in a day or so.

Hi all! Ive officially started my first grow journal check it out if you can starting from day 1:Namaste:
