@Carcass wait did you get 850gr dry from that? in what? 60x60 or 70x70?
That would be nice, but no, that's 850g wet in a 24x24x48...Like Azi said close to half a pound dry...
If only he would reveal his technique.

I did that, and @HashGirl was nice enough to put them altogether in one place..

the tutorials were in a regular pot, but the method evidently also works in a SIP!..😁

I was speaking more generally and in jest since you have always documented your grows in wonderful detail. I did link to your journal at the appropriate starting post (but did so in small letters since it ran counter to the point I was making) :laughtwo:

Thanks, Azi- these old eyes totally missed the small letters... 👀

I've got to pay closer attention...🙂

Okay and 24x24 is inches otherwise it's too small, which does make it a 60x60, and half a pound is 226 grams for some reason.
At 210 watts..hmmm that means I'm actually doing not too bad as I've been able to pull 280gr from a 140watt light, but with two plants on 50x100.
Although if I could get it compact and stacked like yours that should increase the yield quite a bit.

Right. 453 grams to the pound.
Yes a pound, that sounds good.. although that sounds just a bit too much for my space.. I mean 400-600grams is usually what they aim for on a square meter, but I've only got half of that.
But I'd like to reach the upper limit on the space available.

as well 4 indoor grows a year is a no go unless I involve extra cooling, so that's either 3 very neatly timed ones or two grows if you take anything other than a fast flowering strain.

I'd like to get to 2 pounds a year of indoor material 2. something.. let just say a kilo :p

I have been dreaming of big tent & light and just do it in one go.. that's probably more efficient than several runs.

Second SIP attempt seems to have a happy subject again, just happily pushing out leaves and the stem is also fattening up, with SIP this seems to happen way faster..
The genetics are a bit of let down as the previous plant grew way larger.

I know it's probably different for veg and Flower, but what are your general levels for say the top 5 or 6?

Sorry for the slow reply. Post got overlooked. My previous iteration of FN Fertilizer™ (V2), along with the current V3 can be found HERE. I don't change the mix for veg and flower, it stays the same throughout the grow. Only thing I vary is the strength of the feed. 60% strength for seedlings, 80% strength for early to mid stage vegging plants, 100% strength for later stage vegging although the way through bloom and harvest.

Say how do pure vewy long flowering Sativas do in SIP?
They also don't mind wet feet?
Less feed?

I just made the arrangement for outdoors, Barney's farm Critical Kush & mainly Barney's Farm White Widow XXL auto
Those should already start filling jars late August, early Sept, that way I'm set and I can grow something special indoors.
And I'm kinda feeling that Ace Malawi or PurpleHaze/Malawi

Update on the two girls. They were very happy to have a little more room for their roots and they perked right up. After a week in the SIPs I made some compost tea and watered them once from the top lightly. Split a half gallon of tea and water across the two of them and they were pretty happy with that too.

Yesterday I clipped off nodes one and two, and just now I clipped off (and trying to clone, why not) node five with a tiny six in it. Trying quadlining with SIP both for the first time yaaay experiments.

They still haven't emptied the reservoir, and I expect my top watering even lightly isn't helping that. Shrugs, they still look pretty and I'm having fun with this grow. 😍

Already seeing some gnats so I'll hit them with mosquito bits in another week.

I think the recirculating to external res is working 👌

Here is my latest, Fruity OG Kush in a SIP after 38 days in veg. I am having humidity issues for flowering, so may let this one veg a while until things straighten out. It needs a bit more defoliation and training, and I broke one of the main branches in two places, but its still coming along strong under two 100w LED panels.

Dooowed! This is awesome! Well done. I'm just so chuffed to see this. I have not been around much for a week or so so out of the loop, but am looking forward to catching up on your exploits. Thrilled to see you push past the difficult moments you experienced.

Gorgeous plant, just gorgeous. Been smooth sailing so far, or... ? I'd flip that girl while she still can be prevented from deciding you are holding her back then offs you, and strikes out on her own. She's got that wild-eyed, 'I can do anything' look about her!

Not sure Fender as i don't grow them. I prefer indicas and my grow space wouldn't accommodate them anyway as I have a maximum of 36"/1m in height.

I started the experiment of adding aeration higher up in the container today. Since i like to keep all of my various experiments in one place, I posted about it in my 'Alchemy' thread Here but I'll be sure to share any notables I might learn here in the SIP Club thread.
Fail.

I'll try it again with different variables once I get some clones rooted.

Ha! don't have to tell me, Everything I've grown the past years has been very indica dominant, outside as well as inside.. I let them gain as least height as possible I grow way wider than high.
But I've been craving some highly active stuff that knocks the socks off.

And I still have unused space, as right now my lamp hardly moves the starting position for seedling is great for flowering as well.. and I just got those easy rollers and they are fantastic, I love being able to move the light with one motion.
And MY upper part is very tidy :p .. so I could hoist it all the way up there.
With the ease of the SIP I'm willing to try something funky.
I've already ordered some Ace Malawi should arrive Tuesday with the rest of the goodies.

Lets just say I wouldn't mind wrestling a plant down in my tent..

And I don't think the increased moisture will be an issue with a sativa. I have an aloe plant thriving in a SIP and those are supposed to like a drier soil. Not true, apparently.

Alright you beauties you. I’ve prattled on numerous times about my outdoor SIP garden, well I finally got one section setup. (My tents were being taken over by vegetables). Here’s an overall shot of this garden area in particular, it is actually city property but since pandemic city has permitted use of these spaces for gardens now, as opposed to being a car park solely in the before times.

detail shots next. The 35 gallon Rubbermaid trash cans I got for free on side of the road. The cardboard is very important or else the soil overheats. This is a S. facing, very hot and sunny location.

I’ll start showing off the cukes and tomatoes as they arrive, it’s very impressive to watch a sip like this produce

They really work well. I use a 7gallon plastic planter upside down and drilled with holes top to bottom. This keeps soil out of the reservoir.

These two above I just finished minutes ago and they still need some beautifying.

All of the succulents are just distractions for your eye, I like to make things look attractive for my own and the neighborhoods benefit. I have twelve, five-gallon pot SIPs still to deploy all for tomatoes and all going in one location on SE side of house, tomatoes like my morning sun. I’ll share those when they’re up.
