Re: RVgrower's Indoor Closet Grow: a Few N. Lights x Skunk & Some Bag Seeds Under CFL
I got a question....I've seen so many different times for curing people's harvest....some say it's a matter of about 2 weeks or less, some say it's like a 6 month process! That's a pretty large gap there! And I am still curing my 1st harvest, from about 3 or so weeks ago...and I am still smelling chlorophyll pretty good in my jar with the "sugar leaves" that I trimmed off the buds about a week or so after the chop....The buds have a very very mellow smell.....kinda chorophyll-y, but also has a bit of a nice "bud" smell too....I've mixed it in with the schwag shite I get still till I am only using my own stash....Anyways, is it okay for me to try to use the sugar leaves for the "canna-oil" even tho they still smell like they should cure more, or should I just wait it out, no matter how long, and wait till it has like NO smell of chlorophyll? I really want to make my brownies so I will have some edibles that'll last me all afternoon on a bad day...but now I don't want to f it up or have a nasty tasting oil cuz it still had the slight aroma of chlorophyll....Let me know what you guys think, or what you have done....How did you all do your "pot brownies" if, that is, you ever did them....I appreciate the feedback!
P.S. And have any of you used "soy lecithin" as an additive to help with the "emulsifying process" of the THC into the brownie, as recommended by 1 grower/420mag.com member here does in his recipe? He swears it has DOUBLED the potency of the brownies by adding a tablespoon or two during the mixing process of the brownie making...I read that super good bee pollen can be used like a lecithin, but it doesn't have the "soy" additive, mainly for those that are allergic to soy...but I need to know so I know whether or not I can use it in place of my suggested ingredient of "soy" lecithin? I appreciate all feed back! Thanks and much love to all!
