Been a while since updating here... Ever since the lock down was announced and the covid-19 virus made a an appearance in good old SA I've been sorting out things on the farm and business so that I can keep things in check alone for the 21 days of lock down. Life has been a bit of a mess. Will put a proper update here tomorrow and post a couple of pics to my insta tonight and tomorrow as it's the first official day of lockdown

Gg#4 girl who's life was hell isn't so shitty and my hell does she smell... She's got a weird fuel smell. It's pretty insane

Thanks guys, so stoked the first grow is going reasonably well. @Pennywise actually makes me nervous to smoke it with such a heavy smell. Haha. Although I'm super excited to get to harvest. Half way through week 6 at the moment.

@Smeegol I got some of those little buggers from you in germ at the moment. Cannot wait to get them up and going. Will post pics as soon as I see some life

The 4 way cross I tried using jiffy pellets as a believe it's a pretty good way to germ so I'm not sure what's going on beneath there.

Evening brother ya we keeping our heads down and low playing it very safe, my mom had medication delivered earlier this afternoon and the delivery guy had a military police escort.
My mom mentioned this afternoon there is talk of " relocating " whole populaces from certain hotspots around the country due to the serious overcrowding and lack of services and well being but the scary thing is it's being touted as a safer option but it's more a segregation of population reminiscent of apartheid, that's getting rather scary if that's how things are going to play out...

Bad news this front... Bloody spider mites are doing there thing inside that tent and I'm at start of week 7. What a shit thing to happen

Question now is do I ride it out or Pull everything or atleast the ones that are at the worst stage?

Hmm I'd say ride it out but I've never had to deal with them before . Looks to be about 10 to 14 days out so you should be ok. What is the damage looking like?/is it bad?
Buds looking really tasty man. Great job for a first time. Some people don't get it that good until a few tries. Greenfingers .

Also not sure if you know but you want to check the trichs on thea calyx not the sugar leaves. The sugar leaves will ripen a bit earlier but we want the flowers so those are the ones to check .

It's not looking so shit except on the gg4 girls. They seem to be the target of these little shits. But they all seem to be the closest to done with quite a few amber trichs starting to show their face. This all happened after the missus though it was a good idea to pop her rose cuttings into the tent one night to "see what would happen" haha. Dammit... That was about a week ago.

Thanks Lerugged. Been putting loads of effort into these girls. Especially after tasting that dark devil and how good a home grow can be. Mmmmm.

Spider mites suck this late in flower and I'm busy spraying with Ludwigs but not on the girls that are nearly ready as found it burns the pistils and leaves a lingering garlic odor.....
You can try tobacco steeped in water with tsp dish soap, tsp cooking oil and tblspoon hydrogen peroxide as wont affect buds.....

Thanks so much dk, plants are filling up quite nicely at the moment. Will add some pics tonight.
Dark devil is so smooth man, loving it. After a smoke I switch on my ps4 and literally can't move for a while. Hits pretty dam heavy.

Smeegs spider mites suck balls. I ended up having to pull the gg4 girls quite early with opaic trichs but will dry it out, give it a smoke and see what it's like. They are very sticky and smelly so hoping they won't be a complete waste. They were getting to the point of no return and strangely enough the other girls weren't really affected by the little bastard yet.

I'll get some bud photos together as soon as they have dried and have been trimmed up nicely but it's rather bleak they couldn't go all the way

They love cannabis plants. I have not been able to find any this year but I'm sure there is at least one fat female somewhere on my plants. Not sure they will eat mites , maybe. Or lady bugs might chow on them. If you feel like catching some essential service insects lol.
