Wow! That's a long move, but in the end I hope it all works out for you!!!!Well for me, I left my last job and starting a new career..crazy at 48 but you only live once. Also plan on moving 1500 miles away in 6 months so yeah 2022 is definitely going to be an adventure for me!
And your in a 2x4? Well I'd go with the XS2000. Or P2000. The P series has more efficiency, and I think the XS has infrared.@Rexer to answer your question earlier, I don't have the means to get a bigger or another tent now so what I have is what I have. I reached out to Vipar for differences between xs and vs series differences. Hope that will help my decision.
Flower day 22
5 days since water/feed
Man it's been busy with family in town and then yesterday I was sick in bed with a 24hr flu. That sucked but I'm good now. I didn't even check on the plants yesterday because I couldn't get out of bed.
Opening the tent today, they all looked great.
CC still has some yellowing of her lower leaves but doesn't seem like it is getting any worse. The soil still feels pretty soaked so I think I'll wait another day or two before watering. She definitely is the frostiest of the three.
GZ looks good and starting to thicken up. And is the tallest and closest to the light.
BB looks really good especially now that I trimmed a lot and plenty of light is reaching the whole stems. There are a handful of small budsites in the lower middle and I'm not sure what they will turn out to be. Time will tell.
Here they are:
BB
GZ
CC
Overview
That’s not crazy at 48. I love my 40’s. I feel I’m still young enough to twerk if I wanna, but old enough to have a cup of camomile tea and go bed at 8pm with a real sense of pride. It’s the best of both worlds. I think our 50’s are going to be even better. I can’t wait to share it with youWell for me, I left my last job and starting a new career..crazy at 48 but you only live once. Adventures to me, though probably boring to others. Lolllll2022 adventures? Any kind of special plans!
That's actually quite inspirational Trala. And I hope you succeed in all of them! That’s not crazy at 48. I love my 40’s. I’m all about new year resolutions. I love a blank page. I’m working a night shift New Year’s Eve, so I’m will see the year in.
I want to really improve my fitness. I have got into some good habits and I have recently started swimming 100 laps of my pool everyday. Sounds a lot but my pool isn’t that long. And I want to maintain my weight which is finally at my goal. I want to buy a stand up paddle board.
I want to read two books per month, and maybe look at studying a module is something nurse wise, maybe dementia/delirium given the huge amount of patients who suffer with it on some level. I want to cook something I’ve never cooked each week.
I want to take a country holiday in winter. A farmhouse of some sort with a fireplace. I want to go to Melbourne for a weekend, I love Melbourne. I want to pay as much as I can on my house. And I want to grow better buds.
That’s it for now,
How about you?
Sounds like a doable plan! That's actually quite inspirational Trala. And I hope you succeed in all of them!
I love to cook, feel free to tag me anytime if you're looking for recipes!
We just bought a house this year. My goals are to fix a room in the basement that has water coming in. Then begin turning that room into our winter hydroponic vegetable garden. the room will have NFT tubes (Google NFT hydroponics for an idea of what it looks like).
Then hopefully come spring, I'll begin to see if I can install a 10 KW solar system.
Summer I'm hoping to have my first real soil garden veggies.
And i will be growing 4 big outdoor plants (first outdoor grow).
And if I can scrape enough money together I'll put the walls up for my grow room and graduate from my tent.
Plants looking great, your updates have become so classy lol best of luck with all the things on the horizon RMWell for me, I left my last job and starting a new career..crazy at 48 but you only live once. Also plan on moving 1500 miles away in 6 months so yeah 2022 is definitely going to be an adventure for me!
Ah yes, this is an option. Hmm I want to make this purchase soon. I'm sure one day I will have more space for another tent but for now I'm strapped. I think I may have to resort to buying an additional light from the sponsors then.. let me do some calculating.Wow! That's a long move, but in the end I hope it all works out for you!!!!
I just moved not all that long ago, and that's the last time for me, they'll have to wheel me out of here
And your in a 2x4? Well I'd go with the XS2000. Or P2000. The P series has more efficiency, and I think the XS has infrared.
I used the P4000 in a 4x4, had a sweet haul. The P4000 would fit inside a 2x4, and you could keep it turned down, and if the new place has more room....that's why I was asking about future plans.
And don't forget we (420) have discount codes!
I thought about doing multiple plants same strain. I liked the idea of mixing it up. I see the pros and cons to both now.Ok first things first always check the strain
I started in 1gal and transplanted to 5gal, final pots.Do you start in the same pot they finish in?
What medium are you in?
Did you use mychorizea? (spelt wrong lol)
There are other factors like what nutrients etc. But if I'm honest I'm more experienced in the practical side rather than what goes in a mix. I've got mine dialed in but unless you just want to copy me I'm not much on giving exact nutrient pointers lol.
Yeah, thinking that as an option too. But damn, fc8000? I'd have to buy a whole lot of stuff to make that work for me but that is definitely a win!If you can I'd go for the P4000. I know it's more than your voucher but if you need to expand you can. And having more power than needed can be useful as you can raise the light and run on full power and have full penetration for the lower plant.
It's mainly just to check the expected growth height. Some plants are 150cm some are 60cm. So your plants being smaller may be natural.I thought about doing multiple plants same strain. I liked the idea of mixing it up. I see the pros and cons to both now.
Hmm your already more advanced than me. I use Canna Coco A and B and a bit of extra K. In flower i increase A and B and potassium and I use shogun boost to suppliment Canna boost throughout (same product but shogun is half the cost) and to flush I use molasses and the boost.I started in 1gal and transplanted to 5gal, final pots.
I'm in soil: ocean forest and happy frog with perlite.
I have not added any microbes. My nutrients are MegaCrop along with some diy calmag
Hehe yeah it's £920 of light here in the UK. I've already bought a new Mars hydro 5' X 5' tent and went and bought monkey fans and pots today. My seeds arrive in January same as the light. It's all in my journalYeah, thinking that as an option too. But damn, fc8000? I'd have to buy a whole lot of stuff to make that work for me but that is definitely a win!
The yellowing will not recover, so you are looking to stop the progression. Hopefully that has been contained now.CC still has some yellowing of her lower leaves but doesn't seem like it is getting any worse.
Good call. You don't want it soaking wet all the time, but don't let them go dry that they wilt. If you schedule was every four days then you are probably good at every three days, but it's a feel thing. They drink a lot during this period. The soil still feels pretty soaked so I think I'll wait another day or two before watering.
Aww, shux! Thanks Trala!I really hope 2022 brings you back here more. 420 needs your chilled and laid back flavour and skill. Well I think it does. I legit miss seeing you.
So happy to hear that. Glad it worked out for you.Oiii while I got you, my fridge dry was a success. I was so happy with the result.
Here’s a curtsy for old times sake
I may not agree with the way you spell mites, but I definitely agree that our 50's will be out best decade! That’s not crazy at 48. I love my 40’s. In 2022 may the breast milk flow

A quarter of the way through!!! Woo hoo! Happy New Year RM!!! Hope you had a fantastic night and can't wait to see your @ViparSpectra in action whenever you get her!Flower day 24
1 day since water/feed
It has been so busy here lately, I have not caught up on any journals. I'll try and knock out some tonight. I'm down about 350 notifications.
Yesterday was watering day and today I took some pictures. BB and GZ took 1.8g og M and CC took 2.0. there's a whole thing on why I didn't lower my notes and I'll get into tomorrow of I can get some time. For now, it appears that GZ leaves are starting to turn purple on a few at the top. I'm assuming it is from the cold weather we have had here overnight but not positive. It may be a nutrients deficiency. I'll keep researching. Other than that, things look good.
Happy new Year, y'all!!
