Renaissance Man's First Official Grow: Blueberry OG, Gorilla Zkittles & Cream Caramel In Soil

Saturday. But I think I took those tops off Sunday, I hope that didn’t stress her. I’ve just checked still no signs. So that’s, omg legit using fingers to count, 6 days.

I don’t use rainwater, I use hose. They only get rainwater as a top up. I am waiting for a rain tank tho, so soon it will be rainwater.

Are you in California! (Why am I asking that when you just shared it). That place looks awesome. I think a great philosopher once said “ I wish they all could be California… I wish they all could be California… I wish they all could be California, giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiils”.

Is that where the Hollywood sign is?
haha.. yes Hollywood sign is nearby, however, Hollywood is a dirty shit-hole that I have no intention of spending any time near.

Oh good job Ren :)

And your little clone is fighting back. If that clone was mine I’d call her Rocky.

I have just tried to strike some clones in omg I forget what it’s called. It’s volcano jizz. The white stuff you can put in soil, it comes from volcanoes. Tbh for the first year I thought it was polystyrene foam, not even joking. Anyhoo, I’m trying to strike them in volcano jizz and water, and tbh, they look great. No wilting. I’m so interested to see if they strike. And if they do, I’m sold on this method fo sho.
I have the other one (GZ3) that I kept in my window sill that looks bad still. I put her in the tent now to see if anything changes.

How very dare you ruin my fantasy of the streets near the Hollywood sign where movie stars walk around freely!

Ok, what I meant to say is that the streets are plated in gold and celebrities galavant around the sign and graciously take pictures with every tourist.

I do but I'm new and idk how to tag it like everyone else lol here a link.

onegoodthing2021

Took a look at your grow and looks like your doing some cool stuff. I'm going to follow along.
Edit: figured out how to tag it lol
OMG bruv, you need to put it in your signature! All the cool kids are doing it!

Go on, do it!

One of us! One of us! One of us!

P.s. don’t ask me how tho, I really needed step by step instructions with pictures and everything lollllinggggg

Hey do me a personal favour. Next time you see Colin Farrel or that guy from Yellowstone who is with Kevin Costner’s onscreen daughter on your morning walk, tell them I want to [*Deleted by Admin due to lewd and inappropriate language*]

you got it!

Flower Day 3
2 days since water/feed

All the girls are growing great right now. I'm almost wishing I was adjusting my pH from the beginning. I think my tap water was just way too high for optimal growth.

I think I'm going to pick out my favorite cola from each plant and start to track growth in that way, but until then (tomorrow) here are the latest

Yeah I am pushing it a little bit, but I'm ok with that.. I'm ready to pull back at any time.

Hey buddy. Hope you don't mind me chipping in!

I'm fairly sure your nutes are too high on some of the ladies. The tips of the leaves are starting to turn yellow. I see you were having some issues with high PH. I usually find I have the opposite probablem hehe. I've found a good schedule with your feed is very important.

I hope non of this is redundant or insulting I'm just trying to help I promise :)

I run my bucket/tank from tap. I live to sit with air puck in for 24 hours BEFORE adding any nutrients. This allows the Chlorine in the water to evaporate to a tolerable level. After 24 hours I will then make my mix. I use A and B which need to be added to the tank and allowed to mix for 24 hours before feeding. So after making my feed I will mix thoroughly I add a 2min timer to my watch and stir constantly for 2 mins using a stainless steel giant spoon with holes. (Dunno what it's for haha) I do this after adding each nutrient making sure each is diluted before I add the next.

I then take a PH reading. Due to my PH always being too low I usually add a miniscule amount of silicone to increase my PH while helping create strong stems I add this first as silicone is hard to mix and can be stopped by other elements. (0.1ml per litre. 3ml for 30 litre tank) if I'm adding cal mag pro then I will add this first but after the silicone.

Calmag lowers PH so could be a good thing if you are struggling with high PH. You don't need alot 0.5ml-1ml per litre.

I highly recommend until you are aware of what each element does and what each of your nutrients contains it is best to follow the recommended feed schedule. Any reputable feed schedule will work and tweaks are really only recommended for people who are really sure what they are doing. I've been growing for over 10 years and only now do I feel confident to try very small tweaks, based on a limited knowledge. Mainly because I'm a bit more capable to see when they are receiving too much or not enough of a certain nutrient. And even now I have to ask Shed or Jon haha.

Hope this wasn't completely useless hehe

Thanks @Moony for checking out the journal and commenting. I appreciate your input.
I am following the nutrient company feeding schedule to a "T"
But you may be right that I need to reduce it slightly by signs that we see. @Trala seems to feed her plants slightly less than the recommended feeding schedule as does @Virgin Ground and @MrSauga I believe.
I will drop my nutrients back down .5g/gallon at the next feed or two and see what happens.
I'm unsure of what to look for if the feed is too little, but I guess I might find out.

I am enjoying growing so much although it almost tests my patience as much as my kids do...nope, my kids test my patience way more.

Next feed will be either tomorrow or Sunday..stay tuned

Flower day 4
Water/feed day

Just a quick update. The plants looked a little thirsty today even though it was only 3 days since last water.. they probably could have gone another day but I wanted to turn the droopy leaves back up again.
I dropped GZ and BB back down to 1.8g/1.5L but CC went to 2.0g/1.5L.. let's see what happens.

On another note, I decided to start rotating the plants so they all get a bit of direct lights from each light. Right now CC is under the P1000 and GZ is under the P600 and BB gets both

Flower Day 5

Not a lot to report here other than the plants look fantastic and buds are clearly forming. Glad I have no fights to report @Trala
