Relaxed's Winter Experiment

Thanxx for post #500 Lester. That was my first real insight into seasonal outdoor growing.

Good info is always a pleasure. The seeds I had hope would sprout have failed to. but I had a feeling of that. They were on the shelf for a bit. Did get a message from Herbies as they have shipped a fresh batch and waiting on them. Went with Green House Big Bang Feminized it is an indicia of Skunk, Northern Lights. Almost went for the auto-flower but chose the conventional`s. Hope to have something in the ground soon!! Thanks for the great info and hoping it all stays green for everyone...Peace.....

You are very welcome BAR. :Namaste:

Hi Everyone :ciao:

It was a very busy day in the Relaxed Garden, with the temperatures in the mid to high 70s today I figured it would be a great day to re-pot all my plants, including the cannabis. They're gonna love it in these new pots in their new soil in their new spot. Things are coming together quite nicely, so just settling down now to go through all my subs and make my self a Maggie before I see the sunset over the ocean in about an hour. I also decided to get-r-done and pot the 4 seedlings into their final containers and toss 'em out into the "wilderness" with everything else. Hopefully no snails or slugs come along tonight. :Namaste: Here are the pics...:peace:

They are looking like a very happy pair enjoying some Cali sunshine!! The fans leaves are at nine points?? My last Pineapple Chunk had nine`s and the upper fan was a little muted but put out 11 points. Hell as long as there green and standing tall is the battle... nice stuff!!! Will be cool to see the little one progress thanks for the sharing...Peace.....(PS) you mentioned organic soil, are there/do you have any spec`s/specifics??

:420: :Namaste:

you are getting me pumped up Lester. just the mention of forcing has me going. I'm 6 weeks till I get home. so mine will be July for the finish. your girls are doing great. didn't you have a water leak? Did you get it fixed? I think that was you wasn't it?

I scrolled back a few pages and found this D&S??...Found it, Doggett & Simpson.com. Just read a bit of " what makes it tick" and all the goodies in it. That is the best thing about soil over hydro...soil is ALIVE compared to shake well and measure twice, pour once!! I have been adding stuff to common potting soil over the years and composing it in. My buddies say why waste your time and just buy it. I said to them why spend $800/$1000 dollars on your home set-up then $200++ a month on utilities and maintenance ( with no guaranty of success ) when you can just buy 1/4 oz. every Friday!! A few mentioned fishing.... yes a $15.00 dollar lure and $200 rod and reel are nice. But digging worms or grubs or looking for night crawlers as the bait don't guaranty you catch fish. But getting your hands dirty sure makes THEM and your BUDS taste better!! ...Peace..... In GOD I trust, all others charge cash!!

Currently, I won't announce the composition of the soil, but I will say that is locally made and I'm very excited to have my plants grow in it. And thank you for the kind words!

Excellent! Me too, I am ready and excited. Did so much work yesterday that I am beaten and sore today. Definitely going to take the day off from gardening and just wander around watch things gleam in the sun and rustle in the breeze. Yeah, I was the one. We have a very small underground water leak in my medicinal planter bed, I thought (last year) that this would cause problems regarding mold and internal humidity, but it turns out as long as I keep the tent off when I need to, it provides very good air circulation, and so the buds have no problem. Where the leak is on the ground, there is a lot of moss growing, I ment to fix that this winter but didn't get around to it. Luckily it's no big worry. Thanks for the kind words and popping in Boz, can't wait. :)

From what I've read, the DS regiment should be awesome; However they recommend flushing at the end which is not typically normal for pure organic growing, so it made me wonder a bit. However I will run that on a set of specific plants, and compare them to the only guano fed plants. It certainly looks like real good stuff, it's all very fine powder that you can either mix into the soil, or dissolve into water and apply. They recommend not to use any other supplements or fertilizers while using the DS regiment.

Yes and they state in the first paragraph they combo organic and non-organic`s as well as sulfated and chelated minors in there mix. To much of anything is never good for anything as the sayings go. I have heard and read that "chelated" are water soluble and in a state that the plant can use immediately, whether through the roots or foliage feedings. Sulfated and "UREA" forms as well as the non-organics are where your troubles usually stem from. These need to be proceeded or broke down. Unusually flushing only is needed when you screw up or get heavy handed. It has me thinking that there are two or more ingredients that don't play nice or "oxidize" each other. Producing more negative then positive results, like ammoniated and chlorinated nuit`s. Almost like mixing bleach and Windex while cleaning the bathroom, you don't mean to but if they do look out. I will stay with the old fashion and proven compost heap and Grandma`s secret recipes any day. Plus everyone has a choice and a special something that has worked best for them. I do like to know what I am playing with though, and have never been one to look for the next best, bigger and faster. Follow these directions for best results. Good soil, clean water and morning sunshine. Then sit in a chair and wait will never let you down...stay green...Peace.....

Good evening weed Lester. Your girls are looking mighty fine. I just got done burning sulfur in the greenhouse getting ready for early spring. I have a bunch of autos that I'm going to put in the green house starting in early April. I will plant them sometime in mid March. Can't wait. Bubblelicious and White widow. Happy Thurweedday

Just a Valentine's Day wish to all the feminized lovers out there. I did get a special gift today, plus if anyone hears of any posts about concerns on shipping. I can testify on Herbies coming through, time and time again!! Took 10 days, not business days to get some beans to play with. Also can use the disc to store photo as to keep them off your hard drive or memory card!! Enjoy sometime with your ladies tonight and share the love...Peace.....

yep isnt it insane how they still turn away from one of the most Righteous plant,s on the planet
Just have to see that it ws the first cultivated plant , it hit them in the face thousands of year,s ago
an now they have put so much of a bad name on it that folk,s will for a long while shy away an be
scared , . But if they could overcome there short sightedness then they would be scared not to
use it Great picture goofyfoot:thanks:

government and big corporation put the fear into the people out of greed
the people are too stupid to open their eyes
big example would be the religious saying weed is bad they better go back and read their bible good cause im pretty damn sure
it was put here for us to make use of if your looking at it from a religious perspective
I could go on and on but why
