Relaxed's Winter Experiment

Alright here is my Thurweed day update, basically just a large photo dump of the flowering plants as well as the new seedlings. I also have planted the Sativa Blackberry seeds and am now waiting for them to break ground for me. I had to move the plants around a bit because of some yard problems, but nothing too big of a deal, should have them back in their normal area soon, but they do get decent Sun where they are now, even up until Sunset it is direct.

:thumb: Thumbs up Lester...

I sure wish I lived in your neck of the woods. We've had decent weather but nothing I'd even try to throw afew outdoors. Really Dude all the strains you can grow outdoors is off the charts. Not quite Hawaii, but workable for sure. How many hours do you have right now, sunlight/night? That 45 didn't even 'really' stretch as hard as I'd figure on ya. You know the sun throws out a different spectrum in the winter months that lends to a plant getting abit leggy. But she's a pretty good sized girl, which should give ya alittle something-something. Another auto I looked at is one called 105 or 105 something. Suppose to get big and follows the autoflowering trait. I think it takes acouple weeks longer to start flowering than most. Plant something like that directly in the ground and you could see 6 oz+ plants.
Well GL and I'll be around Keepem Green

Workable for sure :) As long as we have winters like this one, I'm convinced I can grow plants year round, just like some of my friends in Hawaii. Except I'm probably closer to the crashing surf. They really love the UV out here on the beach, with a cool breeze. To answer your question, we currently have 11 hours and 11 minutes of daylight, with 12 hours and 49 minutes of darkness as of today. Ya, indeed, "a little something-something" coming my way, hopefully the two flowering 45's finish by 4/20, that would be a nice time to harvest
Like I said before, when I saw the lettuce, raddishes, carrots, and the cilantro all sprouting up. I knew it was a good time to have the plants outside and plant some more beans. Got to get as many harvests as I can during the good growing season because I don't grow indoors, otherwise I'll have to buy some buds from the dispensary, cheapest and best I could find to get me through was this "Greenhouse Kush" for 140$ per ounce. Which may be a good deal when compared to regular prices, but when I'm growing it myself for very little $$ input and maxmimum output, that price still seems expensive. But I will say that it is so nice to have someone do all the trimming, harvesting, drying and curing. Anyway thanks for dropping by my grow NW and giving me words of inspiration. :Namaste:

Happy Freeweed day Brotha :thumb: and a grand Chronic Weekend to ya :high-five:

Aloha and Mahalo! Happy Friedday and a Grand-Kush weekend to ya!:rofl:

Another photo dump, such a nice day out it's hard to resist taking pictures of such beautiful specimens. Few things I noticed though, I found what looked to be a pollen sack (singular) sticking out of a middle internode, and had a white pistil coming out, it was so small and I tried very hard to take a picture of it, couldn't get one that was good, but I pulled the thing off anyway. Another thing, I mentioned I was seeing purple stipules on this one plant, now it turns out it is producing very dark purple calyxs from which the pistils are protruding, we'll see how long that trend continues:rollit: Try and notice how jagged the leaf edges are too - pretty neat. :;):

thanks Les, looking nice & green! :yummy:

I don't grow my cannabis plants directly in the ground - container only. :Namaste:

Lester your grow is doing really good. Sure wish I could be outside with my girls right now. We had snow this morning and 29 degrees so i don't think my youngins would like it out there. :thedoubletake::thedoubletake: Everything you are doing with our girls is really looking good. :goodjob:
