Good evening weed Lester. Your girls are looking mighty fine. I just got done burning sulfur in the greenhouse getting ready for early spring. I have a bunch of autos that I'm going to put in the green house starting in early April. I will plant them sometime in mid March. Can't wait. Bubblelicious and White widow. Happy Thurweedday
Good Day Brotha Bee. Have you been water skiing in the greenhouse lately?
Just clowning, damn April, that's a ways away. At least you have the pleasure of the indoor thing going on, that should help buffer the short growing season. And I definitely feel ya about the mold, seems to be a pretty big problem for you, me, and Bozzo. I can't wait to see you grow again, last year went really well - hopefully we can replicate some of those positive results this year
Hello Lester, the plants are looking good. Im envious of you though its below 0 here. I wish I could be growing outdoors right now.
Thank you kindly!
always a pleasure to see your Grow Relaxed
Happy SKunkday
Thanks Hoggy
Always a pleasure to have you cruise through.
Mahalo and Happy Munchday to you!
Sweet update Lester! Those flowers are forming so fast! I hope my girls follow suit, otherwise I might be training these gals for a long time!
Howdy Rain, Indeed they are forming quick. I also noticed one of the plants is forming purple stipules everywhere, don't think I ever seen that. I'm starting to think it's possible I have a purple phenotype of the KC-45, that would be rad. Well, keep in mind, these ones I have growing are supposed to be autoflowers so I had expected they'd flower much sooner than they did. The 2 flowering female autos were planted ~ December 12, so atleast hopefully that long wait will make up for it with nice dank buds. I will say that the KC-45 smells unbelievable just by rubbing the stem, lot of resin in there. Excited to try the buds. Saw your plants the other day, they're looking good, seems like they went through a little stretch, interested to see how they grow now that they're in the ground. Should be real interesting, I'll be tuned into your journal as we progress.
Looking good Lester,
Beware, I just saw that giant hawk moth, right on cue, at 5:56 PM, keep your eyes peeled at 5:59 tomorrow.
I think I saw one of them, they fly really fast, although that type doesn't worry me, it does tell me that the moths are coming out. In fact I have seen some here and there. Well, reality is some years will be good, some years won't be so good. Staying vigilant in the garden will help prevent a future heart-break. I could rant for days about moths so I'll save that for another time.
New babies! I came back just in time! How's it been growing?
Hey Greensmurf, long time man! New babies indeed, same strain (more KC-45 autos) for now, been growing pretty well. The first batch finally started flowering, and I'm hoping to harvest them completely by ~April 20. Kind of growing things different and at different times this year, will have to see how it pans out. Glad to see you back buddy hope all is well!
Ladies looking great. I'm curious to see the effects of LST on her, how it'll shape her, size her, etc. Thanks for explaining how it works.
I always enjoy seeing the results of LST from the beginning to end. There is such grooming involved, I love the sight of a fully formed bush-of-love, although these won't be incredibly rounded and bush-like, they will have their own unique look to them. I made sure not to top or fim these plants as I wouldn't want to stunt them, but for my regular non-autos that will be planted I would top/fim/ and apply a lot of LST to groom the bush according to it's long vegetative time that they will have, after all the vegetative grooming, it becomes quite a sight to see a massive bloom like that.
Thanks everyone for the likes, comments, and reputations.
