[Stunger]

These past year's I have been too far from trout waters, so instead been catching snapper from the shore. Last year I got 2 15 pounders in one night plus a couple of smaller ones. It doesn't have the activeness of following a river up but it is nice to have a canna butter sandwich or a vape packed and let the high come up as the tide comes in and the stars come out. No noise just the sea and the lights on distant boats interupted with bites on the line. I find it's good to take a thermos of coffee for when the temps drop. It's a nice combination.

It is fishing so it works LOL. Actually sounds peaceful. I may have to go to night fishing if people quit showing up at my favorite lake. They changed the regulations to no limit on lake trout. I used to see maybe one boat on week days. Now I see 10 or more. That used to be the amount of boats mid summer on weekends. I don't have a clue how many people are going to be there when it warms up. Damn the luck. OK Rant over LOL.

It looks like we have found a winner on which strain to reverse. Well not totally sure but I know what I have to work with. From what I have seen from the Banana Sorbet so far. The high leans towards stoned and not high. That makes the Strawberry Lemonade the winner when it comes to effects.

Males ares supposed to transfer things. I am pretty sure type of high falls in that category. Mostly I will go over what I have with my mentor. See which he things would be the better pollen donor to mix these 2 strains. I want to keep the high and flavor of the Strawberry Lemonade. The Banana Sorbet grew better and a bit bigger. I know I like it for plant structure which females are supposed add to the genetic make up. We will see if he agrees with how I am seeing things.

I am only going to do one seed tent instead of 2. I only get one chance to get it right LOL. First I need all plants to regenerate. The 2 in ICU are still doing fine so I think they both will regenerate. Still need the SSH to finish so it can join in the fun. While the Sorbet indica high would benefit the SSH more. The SL is still indica dom and has a great high. Those 2 should mix fine.

I have had thoughts of reversing both the indica dom plants an keep the SSH in the middle of them. This would kind of give me 2 selfed strains and one multi hybrid. I wouldn't really know about which parent goes along with the SSH in most of its seeds. They all should be good so maybe it won't matter. That is one of the things I will be discussing with my mentor. Since I am making female seeds. All the females are top pheno's of their strain. I don't sell seeds so they don't need to do a certain thing. It may be the way to go by doing both BS and SL.

I am going to spend a little time today and just talk about SSH. As I have mentioned. Even though this strain gave me hell towards the end of flower. I am really happy with it. What it lacks in THC percent it makes up for with effects. The short Northern Lights pheno has a great clear headed high that last a long time. Plant 2 has a fair amount more body to it. Creating a more rounded high. It is great for the do nothing days. I still have not got a chance to try the Haze leaning pheno. It still needs time. How much I don't know. Hairs are drying now at least. Still only about 50% of them though. I am going to need at least another week. Probably 2. Here are some pictures.

I want to go back a ways the with this plant. Just so you can see how much it is adding to the buds.

As you can tell it is getting lots of stuff done with all this extra time. I still need to figure out exactly where I am in flower. Week 10 I think or in that area anyway. I don't keep a daily track of all that. Plants finish when they finish. When I mention the Cola. There is a main cola. It is just hard to notice it with the other branches just as tall. It is also packing on bud on all the branches. Here are the 2 best.

Bud structure isn't exactly what I thought it would be. The buds are similar to the medium plant. Just bigger and taking longer. I am still feeding this plant twice what I normally do at this time. ( Not saying much as most the time they are dead at this point LMAO). Breeding the Strawberry Lemonade to this plant should shorten flower time I hope.

I had the chance to save another Banana Sorbet so I took it. Damn that thing is big. It was a 3 hanger plant after trimmed. I have only had one of those before. The first 2 Sorbet's I have tried had different highs. Since I had the opportunity I went a head a threw it in with the others to regenerate. While I like the bud structure of the first one more. They both had lots of frost. This last one is just so much bigger. It is worth keeping till I get a chance to try both head to head. The Strawberry Lemonade has great bud structure to bring to the hybrid. All I need the BS for is size and frost. If they have the same high the bigger plant will get the nod. Other then that I will pick the one with the best high.

The best high of the 3 is the only one I didn't save lol. It has more sativa traits shining through. It had great bud structure but not the same trichome coverage as the first one I saved. Don't get me wrong. It is not stronger then the others. I just like the high a little better. This strain has good bottom end power. It is a indica and acts like it.

That is what is difference between it and the Strawberry Lemonade. Both are 80% indica. The highs are completely different. The main pheno of SL has a incredible high. It is kind of like alcohol for me. I can keep making myself dumber and dumber and still remain standing. That is why I rarely drink anymore LMAO. It is one of those weeds you keep smoking more of when you don't need to. Like crack you keep wanting another hit. What is great. All the SL have that high. The other 2 have it but it is not nearly as intense. This plant has become a keeper for me. That is saying a lot. It was a simple choice of which one I was going to self when the highs came into the picture.

This plant may even change my next line up. I may want to find something else to cross it with. I am hoping it produces lots of pollen so I can save some. Then I won't have to change my next grow as much. I already have it planned LOL.

In the evening I can't get to the ceiling of Banana Sorbet LMAO. I can put myself right to sleep at night. Daytime I can but won't be doing much. It is not quite a day wrecker but close. I have yet to try them all in the morning so we will have to see. The one I did try let me nap it didn't make me nap.

I do know my weed is way stronger this time. I thought I had good weed till I tried the same amount of the new stuff in the evening. Good thing I don't have to have conversations in the evening LMAO. Pretty good shit. GTH then SL then Cataract. I sat there starring at the TV for 45 minutes after I decided to go to bed lol

It seems that DNA and Banana Sorbet thing I never need to leave my chair again. At a 3 oz average so far and the biggest plant yet to be weighed. I have a F**k ton of bed time weed LMAO.

I am hoping that sinks in to the people that have been following me. When was the last time you saw me quote 3 oz's for a plant. Totally amazing! These plants produced a ounce more then everything else in the same space and time. Hell they were under 3 foot tall. Boy what I could do with this strain if I wanted to make some money.

I JUST now had the thought. I am going to need to take a road trip when these plants regenerate. My mentor needs something like this. He was been wanting something that had some quality and produced a lot. With the Covid thing he can't keep up with demand. Must be a ton of people high as f**k working from home LMAO.

Thing is. While I don't love the high. This strain is still strong. I still need to wait for a bit to see about flavor. The pheno with the great bud structure has a strong banana smell. When I open my hash container I store my finger and scissor hash it smells like banana. That means it is over powering all the other stuff combined. It used to just smell hashy.

I went back and did the math. The SSH that is flowering at around 12 weeks. That isn't bad consider what it is and what it is doing. The high is still going to need to be what I want it to be. What the hell can go wrong with a long flowering pheno of SSH? The haze they used to make it was so damn good it's phenotypes won't suck.

Ghost Train Haze really isn't daytime weed LOL. Yes it needs to be used "IN" the daytime. That's about all LMAO. The highs can be deceiving. You feel fine but you are lots dummer than you feel LOL. To put it in perspective. I smoked the last half of a GTH joint when I started writing this post. I can't concentrate or type worth a F**k. I have now been typing this for over a 1/2 hour. It was my first try of this plant in the morning. It is the weaker of the 2 GTH plants LMAO.

I really need to see what a GTH and Banana Sorbet day is like.

Sounds like great erb Jack . I've had nothing but great plants from DNA genetics and Rare Dankness. Every single plant I've grown from both have been stable and potent. When I did my breeding project I used mother's from both. From DNA I used 24k gold which is Tangie x kosher kush, I've been growing it for a year and a half, harvested every 8 weeks never had a nanner. The rare Dankness mom I used was 501st OG which is ghost og x rare Dankness #1 I think. Also completely stable with great potency. With those breeders it's easy for success

Totally agree. Lots of Crockett genetics also. I am looking for more new breeders to add to my list. I will keep you in mind when I self the Monty Python that is coming up. Holy Grail Kush x Strawberry Banana.

Strawberry Lemonade has Barneys Farm back in the mix now LOL.

FYI I just rolled another GTH joint. It is Sunday and I have nothing to do LMAO.

Enjoy that joint I have couple packs of in house genetics coming that I bought from the 420 sales. I'm sitting on couple thousand seeds why not buy more right Anyway I'm going to get another breeding project going this fall if I can find suitable mother's. Not sure if I'll use more Chernobyl pollen as I have some already. Maybe I'll run across a better male by then.
If you get bored look at Iced out and Gelato 45 from IHG. Iced out are fems, gelato 45 are regs. I'm also trying to germ Prayer pupil and 5 star from Mass medical strains at the moment. Those look interesting to

Grimm's new website is up and running. I won't be running my regular Cinderella 99 seeds any time soon. It is so much easier to just do females. C-99 is still my favorite daytime weed. There are other contenders but Cindy is queen.

I have way to much other stuff to look at. Some day I will regenerate and self a C-99. Grimms female seeds are going to be better then mine till then. Why not just grow his. Plus his hybrids with C-99 keep the daytime weed thing going pretty well. I now have 5 C-99 hybrids from Grimm. Plenty to keep things interesting and still have good daytime weed.

I want to keep my options open going into a grow. Like with the Strawberry Lemonade plant. I want to be able to work with great plants as they pop up. I am going to stop going into a grow with preconceived idea's of what I am going to do. What I want to happen doesn't normally happen. I have learned the surprise's always seem to be better.

Grimm also has a glue hybrid out. I have grown 3 now with varying results. I liked the flavor and highs of all of them. Some were stronger then others. 2 were Blueberry hybrids one was with Zkittelz. The Clown Royal was the best so far. All of them were mostly indica hybrids. I am pretty sure I am going to like the C-99 hybrid more just because it won't have as much indica.

Holy crap! Grimm ships fast. Ordered yesterday. I got shipping info this morning. That makes it same day shipping. I have had fast orders before but that is just crazy.

There has been a few developments in the last few days. I tried first test bud of the last SSH the other day. It is not what I expected. Hairs are mostly red now and lots of the trichomes are cloudy. It is just not the soaring high I expected. It is still growing ok so I can give it more time. Maybe the highs will change a bit while it fully matures. No way will it get to where I wanted it too thought.

That is when testing really helps. While I didn't think I was very high. It only took a couple hits of a strain I know is not very strong to get me baked. So it ends up I just didn't know I was as high as I was from the SSH. So it is better weed then I thought. It might have worked great with the Banana Sorbet that did the same thing in the opposite direction. Neither has the effects to the head I am looking for. As of right now I don't know if I will be saving the last SSH plant either.

Along those lines. I cut most of the seeded branch off the GTH plant. I wish I had had this thought before I let in go 2 more weeks to finish seeds. Either way I left a couple small branches and put it in ICU. This branch was pollinated so there is a very good chance it wont regenerate. Never say never, there is a small chance of success. The GTH and the SL have the best highs from this last harvest. At least I have a chance of saving the GTH better then none at all.

Wow. I am back to that weird limbo time of my life. I hate not having a new crop of girls to worry about. I do have the plants in ICU but they don't need me for more then a couple minutes a day. The best of the Banana Sorbet looks like it will not make it. I ran without trash bags over them for a few days and it let that plant dry out. I don't know if it is going to make it or not. I at least have the other plant as back up. The highs from both the BS left are very similar. Either should work for the hybrid. The plant that is left looks to be heavier. I won't know for sure for another day or 2

While I am down I will be working on a new start up plan. I always want to have a place for special plants if and when they show up. This down time might give me a chance to figure out how to do that best. I also want to try a couple Auto flower plants. Which might get a chance to go during my down time. If I like what I see I will try and self one of the plants. Never know when I might want a few auto flower seeds. It is a easy project other then the pollen. I know the strain I plan to reverse already. The Jack 41 auto from Sweet seeds has solid reviews. It will be reversed. I just don't know what I will grow along with it for a hybrid. My choices are El Fuego auto from DNA and Pineapple Express auto from Barnes farm.

The main thing I need to take care of is where to put the tent that is going to have pollen. I don't mind a few extra seeds here and there. I just need to make sure it stays at only a few. As of right now. These are the tents I think I need.

Veg tent. Flower tent. ICU/clone tent. Breeding tent. Drying tent. I am going to want to have everything set up at all times. I just need to decide where each one goes. No pollen made it to the main tent. Looks like the only extra seeds came from the tent that was on the same watering schedule as the males. Except for a couple I noticed on plants right next to the BOO I pollinated the branch of. I am not finding any seeds from it yet but I know there is one on the Strawberry Lemonade that was next to it. I have found 2 SSH F-2 seeds also. They were on the short pheno I liked so much.

The Jack 41 auto from Sweet seeds has solid reviews

My previous post was done in haste.

I have just recently harvested my plants that included my first auto, a 420 Gorilla Glue. With so many different Auto strains available I've been wondering how to choose the next one. So I took a look at Sweet Seeds and I guess that you meant the Jack 47. It sounds good (they all do in the descriptions!). I was half thinking of kicking off another GGa but that would mean it would be ready for harvest in mid Winter. It's descriptions says it'll be fine, but the truth is I already have a lot of bud to play with from my recent harvest, so I will probably wait and do an early Spring grow instead altho I'd like to also try a different auto. I have very limited outdoor grow space so I have got to be a bit selective. The Sweet Seeds Jake 47 sounds great. Look forward to reading how you go with that.

Yep you are right. It is Jack 47. I need to get a few projects done first. I figured that newer hybrids might be better if you got the right one. Since Auto Flower genetics are a afterthought for me. I figured it would be best to start with something that had been around long enough to get a few reviews. Sweet Seeds has been doing auto's for a while so it was a decent place to start. I also have auto's from DNA, Dutch Passion, Royal Queen, Barnes Farm. I even have CBD auto's from Seedsman and Greenhouse.

Mostly I figure Jack Herer and AK-47 are strong enough to carry the Ruderalis genetics. Those are the same reasons I was planning on using it as a pollen donor if I do that project. Going to have to grow a couple auto flower plants to finish first before I decide anything. That will also give me a look at Jack-47. I just don't know what I will be growing with it yet. I need to find 2 or 3 strains to try. They will be first choices for a breeding project down the line. At least if they pan out. I may add a strain from Royal Queen seeds or the Colorado Cookies from DP.
