Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Dog

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

let me start with how beautiful and happy your girls look. I am glad to hear that you did not receive to much damage from the hail.

I have done Yosemite, and Yellowstone along with Glacier and quiet a few other of our national parks, while I will say I was very impressed with Yosemite and if you you go be sure to hit the park just north of Yosemite to see the giant Sequoias well worth the look, but when it comes to the aww factor I have to cast my vote for Yellowstone. While Yosemite may have spectacular views and believe me, they are breath taking, Yellowstone has sites that appear to be unbelievable. And much more wildlife to view, last time I was there we watched from afar a grizzly and a pack of wolves fighting over a dead buffalo, it was truly an amazing site to watch. I could not tell you all the animals we saw, it was crazy, in fact one day as we were entering the park the wife was yelling at me to find the 1st bathroom so she could go, there was one right near the entrance, so I pulled over as she is running for the bathroom a huge bull moose steps from behind the bathroom and walks over towards the car. The whole time this Moose is walking by us I was snapping pictures, the wife comes out of the bathroom just as the moose was heading down into the brush on the far side of the road out of site. My son and I were telling her about how she missed out and until I showed her the pictures she thought I was pulling her chain, she was literally within 8 feet of it when she went through the door and never even saw it:rofl:

Hey OD, this is funny but just few days ago we figured Yellowstone was not in California, so we have to pass on it unfortunately :cheesygrinsmiley: But we've set our minds on Yosemite and on sequoia forest as well. They both look so nice that we couldn't possibly miss on them. Thx for joining my thread by the way.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Yea it's pretty far from Cali. A couple other places you might want to do a little research on, Kings Canyon/ Sequoia National Park. Got some pretty drives and trails. Outside Fresno Cali. Not to awful far from San Francisco. Hey you could even keep driving that direction untill you find RENO... Just bring alot of money..... JK. You going to look it. But there are plenty of beautiful places every where, in every country. I use to do alittle traveling. But mostly here in the states. USA is a big country, and I've been from one side to the other. I've only been over close to your ways when I went to France for acouple weeks. I know it's not close to ya but it is on that side of 'pond'. Afew places in Mexico and Canada too. But I really want a cruise along the Mediterranean,Greece and all that. Pipe dream for now. But me and Miss J read thru the sales on cruises all the time. We jumped up and took a cruise up along Alaska acouple year back. Man that's a pretty place. Well I'm babbling and don't ask me what I still doing up but I think I'm going to fix that and hit the road and the pillows,

 Yeah, Yellowstone's not in California. :cheesygrinsmiley: The distances can be hard to grasp, sometimes. It would be like going to see Amsterdam during a trip to Italy ... ? You could manage it, but ... whew ...

My wife and I would routinely cover 1000 miles (4% of the planet) in a 14 hour driving day - set the cruise control to 9 mph over the limit, put on some good tunes, and watch the scenery go by. But that was just to get to where we were going - no time for anything but driving and looking. :slide: I highly recommend it to any European because it's a truly profound experience not found anywhere else in the world. At no point in a trip of that distance do you encounter any restriction on your freedom. No one knows or asks who you are or where you're from or where you're going. The roads and the hotels and all the other services remain very similar or the same, even as the climate and the accents and the cultures change.

No one knows or asks who you are or where you're from or where you're going.
and

Here is a man asking the question
Is this really the end of the world?
Seagull, you must have known for a long time
The shape of things to come.
Now you fly, through the sky, never asking why,
And you fly all around 'til somebody, Shoots you down.

Da da da da da da da down.
Mm mm mm mm, mm mm.

Seagull, you fly, across the horizon,
Into the misty morning sun.
Nobody asks you where you are going,
Nobody knows where you are from,
Now you fly through the sky, never asking why,
And you fly all around 'til somebody, yeah,
Shoots you down. Mm mm, yeah.
Seagull you fly, seagull you fly away.

And you fly away today
And you fly away tomorrow
And you fly away, leave me to
my sorrow.
Mm, mm, mm.

Seagull go and fly, mm, mm, mm,
Fly to your tomorrow, leave me to my sorrow, fly.

dang it..why is everything a song?

We have our minds set up on all these beautiful places. It's a pity we won't get farther north than Sonoma, but we just cannot have everything in 3 weeks. I hope you're gonna find this cruise eventually, NCW.

I've never been into Bad Company, but this song has it all :thumb:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Seen Bad Co like last year in Washington State. With Lynyrd Skynyrd. Love the band. Lynyrd is the shit''''''' Least in my eyes. I'm a classical rock kind of guy. To me most bands have 4-5 tracks per recording that I like, and wood put on my recordings but Lynyrd every song on 'Old' Skynyrd albums wood make the cut. That song Seagull was from like 74-75'. Those were the first years I started going to concerts. Man the Bay Area has the music. They have what 4-5 major venues close. Hey man Cali is a huge state. Cali as a state has more square miles than Italy. 3 weeks wood'nd scratch the surface really. But that's plenty for a good trip. I know you'll love it. You'll be up in Lester's neck of the wood's. To me, SF is the prettiest town in the world, viewed at night from the east bay side. Like Alameda. Well that's all Greek I'm imagine. Enough babbling I need to get busy. Keepem Green

Lynyrd Skynyrd is to be respected for sure, I'm an all music lover basically who has been colecting records for 10 yrs now. Hard for me to find a genre where I didn't venture really, but if I was to say what my special love is, that would be early 60's surf and late 60's psych. However recently I've been listening more and more of 70's country rock, you know this cocaine/whisky cowboy sound filled with sweet and bitter feeling of disillusionment and despair. I just got Warren Zevon's LP, and I'll snap a pic with some bud when it comes for sure :thumb:

Got my Red Algae sorted out Conrad! Thanks for all your help! :thanks:

No problem, man!

When I drive for 14 hours non-stop, I'm still in California.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

same same Florida. Take a trip from Key West to Pensacola and see how long it takes. lmao

Done that! :thumb: Drove A1A, on and off the barrier islands, from St Augustine to Key West. Miami to Key West is deceiving!

We crossed over to the Gulf side on the way back and caught Naples at sunset - wow! - fell in love immediately and spent the next 10 Januarys there. Those were the 90s though, when it was still a fairly genuine "small town" - it's a mess now.

Yeah we figured that eventually, it's enormous. It's on the same latitude more or less like Italy but California is stretched longer. For example Palermo in Sicily is on 38° 7' 0" N, and LA is 34º 03' N. Hmm it's gonna be a trip, man :laughtwo::slide:

Hmm I'd like that, Florida is more like our are in terms of climate or like southern Oregon for that matter :smokin2:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Ok and here is an update divided in 2 so even those who got one toke over the line can understand what they're looking at :thumb:

This is Ultra Dog F2 from my friend's indoor HPS/soil/organic grow. You can see two phenos here. He is not extremely advanced grower but the gets what he wants from his plants, and these buds are rock hard cause I touched them, biodiesel smell is very apparent in most of these, the others are fruity and very lightly spicy.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

And here are plants in The Mountain spot, my friend has just put his Super Skunks there, a Dutch classic Skunk#1 x Northern Lights #5.

First pic is an UD in the front and SSs in the pots, you can see the difference in nitrogen and calcium levels straight away.

IMG_392916.JPG

These UDs are growing strong twice bombarded by hail and more by heavy showers! June keeps coming at us very hard here, but we cope with it.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Looking top notch Conrad!

Those plants don't show any heartache for the hail and rainstorms. A sure sign your hardening techniques are well worth the extra effort. Your buddies skunks are getting out a little late aren't they? The indoor plants really show the UD's potential. I love the swollen calyx look on the Chem pheno. Which pheno do you prefer and why? :lot-o-toke:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Thx man. I'm quite convinced I'm doing the right thing hardening them my way. Yep my buddy took off late but it's just less veg time for these plants, so he'll have less smoke... well he goes through 4 lbs a year so he's gonna probably ask me to give him a hand again

My go to pheno is the Boom pheno or at least it was in F1, the strongest and the most diesel smelling, also the most balanced with soaring sativa onset and indica kickback later on, but OG is nice too slightly more up though and fruitier smell to it.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Sweet. Them berry bushes with cover everything. And shouldn't be any fools running around in them. Cept maybe you, jk. Hopefully only you. Don't know if you have catterpiller problems in the jungle, but if you do, try that captin jack's dead bug brew. I spray mine 30 days before harvest and haven't found any more. I did have alot in pior years. Keepem Green

Hey yeah I got an Italian product to spray this year. It contains Bacillus thuringiensis.
