Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Dog

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Oh we sure do, I'm surprised sometimes how much bud people can smoke. My buddy tops me with one hand

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

My Old Lady' can even smoke up damn near the whole garden. JK Kind of. Lately we been going thru some herbs making alot of cookies. And I want my budder carrying as much thc as possible. I imagine butter can only carry so much thc then the rest falls out? But I'm pretty sure we are using alot more than even necessary.. Beautiful weather here today. 80's and sunny, I bet plants will grow acouple inches today alone. Keepem Green

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

I used to do eat edibles back in the day, but we often used 5 times more than necessary. I remember once getting so fuckin' high that I was practically levitating one foot above the ground before going reset  But if I start eating again I'm gonna have to find a better dose.

Hmmm my wife rarely smokes and I'm afraid to let her smoke cause sometimes she can get panic attacks, she's been sick for a while and she couldn't handle things. With her tolerance my weed is also too strong for her. It's really amazing to see what happens with normal people after they get to smoke some of my stash. I got a friend high as a kite once with just one OG toke, she practically lost it, another bloke got strong weed paranoia after smoking AU. But then what you get on the street in Italy is such shit, that people start tripping on a quality bud.

Here we got hit by nice weather as well, low 90s and sunny. Summer really kicks in :thumb:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Update from The Sunny Spot for your viewing pleasure  It's been few sunny days as we are currently under influence of African anticiclone. Temps are around 32-35°C during day which are low to mid 90s F, and RH stays around 50-60%. It's hot and humid, and it happened after three weeks of rains in one of the coldest Junes ever. May wasn't the best either actually, and it's now really that we're getting some wind in the sails. Rain and hail did some damage to the plants, which just now recuperate, and soil starts to breathe.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Conrade, my god those ones your buddy flowered out inside were fucking incredible. As far as the sunny spot goes, isn't it amazing how rapidly the crosses grow when conditions are right. I've been noticing that they don't do much from the mid 90's and up, but the second it drops back down below 90 they just Burst and grow inches over night. It just blows my mind. I will say that the indoor UD Chem has a way higher Calyxe to Leaf ratio than the UD/PR so it looks much cooler. The guy that gave me the OG Kush and MK Ultra to start with, was in town and I showed him the UD/PR and he said that its the Best Bud I've Ever Grown and Ian is super critical about all bud, so the was a real compliment to us both. Great Job. Cant wait to see ya. Travel Safe My Friend. See you soon. TOAST

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Yeah that's true above these temps they have troubles transpiring water and roots start to cook so they're just hanging there. Then obviously some varieties will cope better and some won't. I found UD to do great during heatwaves AU even better I think, which is most likely cause you bred/grew them on the friggin' desert  I keep some natural shading cover for the time being so they don't get stressed too much, I'm gonna probably clear it for flowering. A lot of ground water helps though and heat rainstorms are coming this weekend they're saying.

Hmm it would be hard to beat calyx to leaf ratio of UD it seems perfect to me both outdoor and indoor, also buds are always that hard so I guess it's in the genes. Great cross no doubt! I'm wondering if UDxPR has more of a sativa high as I hoped for it. Well you let me know, bud :thumb:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Bummer you found some PM. Sounds like that strain is really subject to it, seeing she's still in veg. I've had my battles with it more than once. I've been using alittle biological warfare on it lately. Look into Actinovate AG.

I do a drench acouple times a year and I spray it acouple time during start of flowering. They claim up to harvest with light spray mainly to the leaves, Maybe it works. The stuff feeds on wastes the leaves produce. But it has a taste for PM and Bud Rot, plus other fungus. Isn't a oil of any kind. Keepem Green

Thank you guys, this year we're really under the weather, but then what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, and I don't have to water either

I sometimes spray with milk when I see things are going sideways with PM. However if this plant doesn't make it on her own, there is little you can do. You can spray hoping for the best, but constant rainstorms will put her system under stress, so if she doesn't cope with it by herself, she'll be picked and pruned, and if I see that things are getting serious I'm gonna take her out. I just cannot be bothered with a plant that's too weak to thrive apparently and can start infecting other plants eventually.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

I hear ya is afew different products to control it, but is a plant is susceptible to it, better to find out now early than later, when you got buds everywhere and you got a PM magnet growing in the mist. I know I've freaked out, only to find out I placed a plant under a power line and I see washed out bird crap stains on leaves, and it looks alot like PM. LOL I just lost 2 branches last week to a squirrel jumping from a roof to the plants. Keepem Green

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Have you tried potassium bicarbonate? I tried it on our grapes that always get PM. I worked really well, is cheap, and non-toxic. 2T per gal.

Hey Conradino,
Considering what they have been through I would say your garden looks fabulous:circle-of-love:

Though I think my two favorite are the UD that is with the OG, that one is going to be a beast, and of course the OG for obvious reasons :cheesygrinsmiley:

My thoughts exactly. You know for folks with dry climates it might sound weird (but I know you saw it a lot in Oregon) but here you can see bushes and garden plants infected with PM as early as in April. But I'm talking mainly about imported varieties like my goji berry bush which has been notorious for PM. However this year I also saw it on heirloom green peas and zucchini, and these are strong plants for the climate. But anyway with RH that bounces from 60 to 95% regularly and you have drops in temps you're gonna see it at some point.

And even if I spray this GTH which sincerely I don't even know if these two green phenos make it on time cause I've seen a guy talking November harvest on YouTube, which is not even close to my landrace sativa harvests which happen at worse in mid October. But with PM that tends to pop back in September on weak plants I'm prefer to get rid of all infected leaves which are not so many at that point, and I'm taking out this plant before I go to Cali, so I minimize to the risk. From my experience risky genetics is not worth the hassle. These plants also tend to bud-rot, get septoria and be late finishers. Still it might've got better I just need to go and check tomorrow, so there's a bright thought there :cheesygrinsmiley: :tokin:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Can not wait till this fall when mine look that chunky. I think outdoor is my favorite of all growing, not only because you get to use the best lightbulb ever invented (the SUN) but also because the plant gets to thrive in its natural environment amongst other plants.

Agreed. In fact, I think my indoor grows are coming to a close. I'm growing just to throw it away at this point. :loopy:

Oh yeah outdoor it's all about finding the right strain for your climate. I'd say it's the single most important factor in outdoor growing. In away you're limited, cause some varieties will love it some will hardly cope and some will hate it, but then after you discover strains that grow very well you're ready to start dialing things, which can push your weed to the level of excellence. I think I've just started and things will get better with time... oh yeah time another important outdoor factor :laughtwo::tokin:

I would actually love to grow indoor. Hmm did you ever see my indoor bud?

I actually started indoor in the early 00s with two CFLs :laughtwo: I moved to London for a while and there I kept growing indoor. However in the meantime I started growing outdoor, so it was kind of weird chain of experience. When I came back to Italy with my current wife I picked up outdoor growing which was going very well but it really started getting speed after I discovered High Brix. It was just a lightspeed jump I can say now as my plants started getting very potent disease immune and so rich in terpenes that I'd be willing to put them against every indoor crop. However not every strain can be grown this way as we can see with GTHs.

I'd like to have a grow room but mostly for keeping the mothers and fathers. I'd also like to have a greenhouse Walpini style preferably. The problem with our house is we have very dicey electric installation. I plugged once a CFL to a regular socket and I blew a central fuse :laughtwo: Electricity also goes down often with rainstorms, so it's kinda tricky. I'm gonna look for someone around to ask if one can keep the clones, but it's gonna take me a while :passitleft:

By the way my Colombian got fantastic, really trancey :lot-o-toke:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

I very much enjoy the actual growing, but my OCD keeps me from traveling and doing other things. Plus there is the expense and the lack of a great indoor grow setup. We'll see...

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Then Major, outdoor is the way to go. I'm not really afraid to leave for three weeks to Cali and leave the plants alone. What could happen? In my experience hurricanes will do it and that only unless human insects will jump over your fence.
