Looking good. I seem to see less nibble marks on them this round so far too. :thumb:

Yeah they look untouched, although insects are plenty out there :thumb:

Yep all of them were planted according to the moon.

Girls are taking off I see,my friend. I do have to say I got the jump on ya this year, but yours are in the ground which means all bets are off. I'm a firm believer plants only get as big as the roots allow. Mine only got 35 gallons of soil apiece. Next year I'm upping to 45+ gallon tan smart pots because of heat issues. These plastic barrels heat fast in full sun. Keepem Green

Oh yeah when space for roots is unlimited it becomes a game of a different sort. It rained a lot which means roots didn't have a need to grow deep, but in general I outplanted much earlier this season and I already have an SLH reaching 4 feet as a result. As soon as African anticiclone hits with its dry weather these should start growing big, and with such big reserves of ground waters I'm gonna have to water them around August probably just before I go to Cali, so it should be good in the end. Usually more rain pushes the yield up, which is all right with me :thumb:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

I went to The Sunny Spot to do a weekly inspection. I LSTed the other OG, hit her and the GTHs too with stinging nettle tea to make them happier. I think I'm gonna use some compost too after all on these strains as High Brix approach seems to have limited effect and I see some calling for help on lower leaves.

The good news is almost half of them are showing female preflowers already. Purple GTH, 3 UDs and SLH, which is quite early. Some are growing balls I think but I'm gonna give them another week to be sure and then I'll decide what to do. I'm gonna snap pics tomorrow.

So it's not bad news (as in too early) for them to show pistils?

My 707 Truthband and my Bubbas Gift are showing pistils, and I thought perhaps it was a bit early....as they have been grown completely outdoors.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

It's good news, Bapple. When they show sex maturity so early they should kick into flowering as soon as the Summer Solstice is through :thumb:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Many of mine are showing pistils, too - even some of the younger ones. My oldest did begin to bloom, but stopped and isn't doing the ugly reveg thing...so far.

Yeah if it's so early everywhere, this is quite interesting. I hope they're not gonna reveg on you anymore.

Timing is everything for sure. I had my outdoor girls under acouple cfl lights until the last week of May. I just pulled them under lights for a extra 2 hours a night. Reveg works but alot of time the old flower hangs around and attracts moisture which can lead to bud rott or pm issues. And they get tooooo many branches most plants can't support. But it does work. Cali? as in the states? Way cool.

Never had that problem myself, but many people who put clones outdoor get early flowering/reveg thing all the time, not so good for the grower I'm sure. And Cali should be in US as far as I know :cheesygrinsmiley: And yep that's where I'm heading in August with my wife. We're just thinking now if we should see more of NorCal instead of Tijuana, which I'm pushing for. I've been thinking about visiting Humboldt after we're done with LA and SF, and staying in Arcata or another place where you can kick back for couple of days with good weed and some genuine folks. And yeah, it's gonna be our first trip to US, so I'd like it to be really nice :surf::slide:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Nor Cali is 'God's Country'. But besides the views isn't alot more there. I mean tons of gold rivers, rafting, and great fishing all over but isn't alot for the 'Wife'? Alot of touristy things down south and up SF ways they have alot to see. But man that coast road in north Cali, is a outta this world drive. A+ views. I lived around East SF Bay Area for years. Loved it, Close to the coast, to the mountains, even Reno. Way Cool Keepem Green

We planned it, so there's gonna be plenty of entertainment down the road. My wife is killing me for Disneyland, big Disney fan you know  Big Sur, Sonoma and Yellowstone is in the plans too, maybe we could see Dana Point and Laguna Beach too, and Humboldt could be the tipping point, I'd really like to see how people grow over there firsthand, but I'll settle on a zip of ChemaDawg

Yosemite and wine country! :thumb:

Yellowstone is literally awesome but crowded, and it takes a lot of time to get there by car ... And the drive across Idaho isn't all that fascinating - some interesting lava fields, and dropping down into Jackson Hole from the west side of the Tetons is fun, but mostly it's a lot of miles of mountain scenery. :cheesygrinsmiley: If you want to do Yellowstone, you should plan for a couple days ... :Namaste: You'll never see anything like it again - it's amazing and totally worth it - but it's not an easy side trip.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Same with Yosemite. It used to be my favorite place on earth. Now it is so crowded, it is like a trip to Walmart. Still, some of the most stunning scenery and hiking anywhere with some great swimming spots, depending on the water flow.

I've been to every one of them fantastic places mentioned above along with twenty or more other National Parks across this country & Canada as well but if choosing the good ol' wine country of Sonoma County for your vacation plans please feel free to look me up and I'll hook ya up with some of my organically grown herb fresh from the garden. Tell me that doesn't sway your thinking just a bit?:laughtwo:

Major, How many days do you think would be ok for Yosemite. Sonoma is in the plants definitely, we're up for some wine tasting.

It's great you're telling me that now, Gray. ATM we can still reroute or change the plans. We wanted to get to Yellowstone from LA, up one of these western Californian highways and spend 3 days there. We already have the car booked, we rented Dodge Grand Caravan cause it looked decent for the price. There's a rainbow geiser in the middle or something my wife just showed me, looks like a view from an acid trip, very nice... but if it's very touristy I'd consider Yosemite just the same :laughtwo::tokin: :thanks:

Oh swimming, now you're talking Major :thumb:

Don't say that twice, man, I'll hit you up straight away, man. I couldn't miss on meeting you and seeing your freakin' trees :laughtwo::tokin::thanks:

You know where I be and how to reach me C.!:blunt:
And I don't know how big my plants will be this year since I'm taking a different approach by waiting until July 1st to put them in the ground in an attempt to stunt their growth just a bit so they don't get so huge and hard to deal with at harvest.:lot-o-toke: I'm sure one or two of them will take off as usual and reach the eight to ten foot mark for you to view, or I hope that is. Wouldn't want to disappoint!:laughtwo:
