Hello Conradino! :ciao:

Quick question on the UltraDog Chem. Did you observe it to be a Nitrogen hungry strain? The two first true leaves, have started yellowing. She is 23 days old and still in the pot she was germinated in with Plagron Grow Mix which I added a bit more perlite to the area the seed was in. I usually feed my girls for the first time at about week 7 - 4 weeks after they are transplanted into their final pots.

Any tips on UDC would be much appreciated.

:thanks:

Hmm that doesn't look to me like nitrogen def, but I might be wrong. UD should be fine with low to mid nitrogen level as long as the pot is big enough. They can kick a fuss if roots cannot spread which is what it might be. I'd consider a transplant, however the plant looks very healthy, so it's up to you what you do, it's your grow. But topping is definitely a very good idea with this strain even multiple.

How many seeds did you get from our common friend?

When I watered it for the first time, at day ten or thereabouts, I accidentally heavily overdosed the Plagron Power Roots and the first 4 leaves went all crinkly- maybe those damaged leaves are just dying......

Hey con....jeez, didn't even see that you started a new journal. I have some catch up reading to do. Looking forward to it. :Namaste:

C'mon I knew you'd make it here sooner or later  Good to see ya :thumb:

You got that right, burnt leaves never get green again, they might hang on for a while but plant keeps on growing and always puts more energy into new growth, and these get sucked until they yellow up and die. Nothing to worry about :surf:

Looking great conrad!!
@Bapple - How about more soil? It looks like it could use more real estate at this point.

Copy that - thanks :thankyou:

Just put some Biochar soup to charge, which I will add to my Soilmix with ground eggshells. So will transplant at the weekend.

Hope you're both having a splendid day :thanks:

Ok folks, here's a weekend one for ya with Mexican bud... very stimulating and mood-boosting stuff I have to admit. It goes very well with one of the best music of its time :tokin::surf::theband:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

I'm telling you May and June were a little bit too rainy for everybody's taste and this weather goes up and down, and it might be not over yet. But plants are doing fine considering everything, even Ultra Dogs left alone for few weeks in The Mountain Spot didn't miss a beat. Today it was nice and sunny so I took a hike to see how they were doing. This spot is on a hill nearby, which is about 700 metres high or 2,300 feet. When I got there I found a bush, I had to wade through it using a solid stick as a machete. Plenty of bloodsucking bugs too, I had to move all the time in order not to get bitten. Here I outplanted last batch of UDs by the end of April, mostly phenos I wasn't sure I like them so much, 6 plants in total. One is turning up to be an interesting sativa pheno and one looks like a male.

Ok, here's the spot. There's still space for a few plants as you can see on the last picture, but they're coming.

And the plants. Quite happy as you can see, but still small.
