Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Dog

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

So adventurous and natural :cheer:

Hey Lester, thx for popping in :high-five:

Hey conradino! Nice plants, I'll keep an eye on this grow for sure!;)

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Well they have hard conditions down there but any bud I score I can turn to hash. I won't get a decent yield there, but at least I can check how UD copes with extreme RH, and that's an important info.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Oh guys I'm just thinking how this climate really gets fucked up and denials can say whatever and they have right to I'm very anti not having free speech even if you're a loco I just think that there's no really normal summer here or normal winter and you can hardly see any patterns except that these seasons change somehow. Anyway we had a drop to 50F or 10C yesterday with a lot of rain and today it was 78F or 25 C again with clear sky and full sunshine. There were some fronts going over Mediterranenan from Atlantic and it caused some perturbations, but now we're getting slowly in a grip of African anticiclone which is one of the biggest influences in this region so thing should be getting better. But yeah I have to grow strong genetics here and I cannot afford to grow duds, which is why I harden them like I do, cause you never know what's gonna happen with the weather AND THAT'S A FACT.

Ok have a green weekend everybody I'm gonna watch a show and think how to get to Emerald Triangle in August :laughtwo::tokin::surf:

Yep - weather can't be controlled and will do like it does, when it does.

I love outdoor growing all the same:yahoo:

Have a super weekend Conradino :Namaste:

Hi Conradino, fantastic journal! Brilliant wealth of information!

I love the copper collars, so simple, just installed a method to protect my greenhouse veg, shame it's not Herb, yet. I searched 'copper slug bands' on the rainforest website if anyone is looking.

Looking forward to your Summer really kicking in, more beautiful photos!

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

I hear you about the weather. We had a 30F temperature swing in just two days. We went from 90-ish down to a high of about 60F yesterday. Snow down to 4200 feet. Luckily I'm 2000 feet lower, but still a damn cold morning for me and plants.

Yeah these swings are very unusual this spring, but I hope it's over, cause it's not so good for the plants.

Yeah us too in the PNW. Had 85+ degrees a week later we had a high of 56.i like the cooler weather for sure.

Conradino, I see why you do what you do. Specially starting in February. The hardening process is something I've never thought about. Very educational! :Namaste:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

As I'm thinking about it hardening process is important for all seedlings not only cannabis. I've seen tomato or melon plants or onion hard time adjusting to some of local conditions... which are again very humid :laughtwo: But as far as weed is concerned I like to see strong genetics which means no falling on the ground unless there's a hurricane, normal vigor, no losing leaves in early veg or strange deficiencies which are not soil's fault, and finishing without any mold or at least no more than 5% affected by it. Obviously there are things which you can control and these that you can't, but cannabis is a pretty strong plant naturally so it's hard for me to accept it that you breed it to be a crapshoot, and then you sell it to thousands of growers around the world :smokin::tommy:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

get a bottle of BT & spinsonad. i learned that outdoor is all about the preventative before-hand & throughout lol

Living in the Tropics in Australia most of my life. The worst time of year was Cyclone season. Plants turned out awesome if they didn't get destroyed first. Natures version of supercropping aye:rofl: Plants are looking good mate!

This season I'll spray for the first time bacillus thuringiensis agains bud worms, and hope it'll work. They only destroy small part of the crop, but they are annoying.

Oh I've had rainstorm couple of times that tipped over 10 feet tall plants, so I know what you mean.

The trusty old Sunny Spot :thumb:

Looking good Conradino :cheer:

Oh yeah never fails :thumb:

Yeah it seems that spring is gonna be better in the end. I just hope for 5 dry days so the soil can release some humidity and plants can have more incentive to grow roots :lot-o-toke: Brixwise and everything else they are in reasonably good health. I mean UDs are untouchable and the rest well I took a risk putting some risky genetics and I have to take care of them like babies now :laughtwo::tokin:

Lots of beautiful girls, conrad! :thumb:
Congrat's on the nice weather.

I hope some of these don't turn out guys. And thx Major, weather's getting better finally. However we're not through the spring yet as June can be quite rainy here with strong rainstorms and even hale... but let's stay positive :wood::hippy::passitleft:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

It's great I've just browsed and got blasted wit a lot of positive forecasts. African anticiclone is coming over which means a lot of hot air and high pressure. Temps might dip in high 80s for a day or two, and then we're gonna see what happens. They've been top dressed and they have plenty of water, so we're just sitting ducks for a while :tokin:
