Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Dog

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Well yeah I don't spray anything anymore after transplant. They do very good on their own.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

I miss growing outside. I'm loving this!

Hey flowerfarmer :thanks: for saying this, cause it's for people who appreciate sun grown weed. Also I'm putting more HB approach to the whole thing now, and that makes kind of sense in the end, so we're kicking back more :smokin2::cheesygrinsmiley:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

I transplanted my last 6 plants today. My buddy gave me a hand, so we worked the place thoroughly to make some more space for the coming ones. We smoked 2 doobs and found out how great is to do in the open space with sun really putting it out there. Pics will probably come in a week or two, but tomorrow I should drop an update from The Sunny Spot where things should have gone ahead in the meantime :surf:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Cannabis al fresco - one of my favorite ways to partake! The sun on my face, random puffs of scent-laden breeze, birds and insects making their noises ... mmmph ... love it. :cheesygrinsmiley:

... heheh ... that's what we need to do - get every doubter stoned outside on a gorgeous spring day, and take 'em for a wander through a nice patch of wildland. :slide:

So here are pics from The Sunny Spot, they got their first feeding today shortly after I was done with taking pics. Nothing heavy, some stinging nettle tea.

This Super Lemon Haze got fimmed actually, she's growing 3 tops now.

And Ghost Train Hazes, One of these will have to be topped again, cause it didn't work first time. I'm amazed how slowly this strain recuperates after topping. The purple pheno looks slightly heavier, and overall look stronger so far.

And finally OG Kushes, just look at these mutations that showed after topping. There's nothing kushy about this plant, she grows like a haze actually, and very often shows weird mutations after 3rd or 4th node. And if you don't top her or fim her, she's gonna get very lanky with almost no branching, so better do it early to get more yield.

Ok that's it folks. I'm gonna finish my lunch and hit some Colombian :Namaste::Hookah:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Hmm this Colombian is really good but you cannot have your eyes on any objective :laughtwo::smokin2: Hmm I was reading something about OG Kush and I found this thing

See above — possibly original "OG Kush" cut, passed through overgrow.com forum members, from OrgnKid to Ghost, who then distributed it to select individuals... eventually making its way into Scott of Rare Dankness Seeds' hands. The stories about OG Kush as a strain vary greatly, but many "in the know" say that it's true mother plant is the Triangle Kush, which came out of Florida in the 1990's and was named after the "Triangle" of Florida's main marijuana-producing cities (Jacksonville, Tampa, and Miami).

Nobody knows the lineage for sure [good evidence also points to Tahoe] , though it's still widely thought to be an off-shoot of the Triangle Kush, which came out of Florida in the early 1990's.

It's funny how more and more Florida info suddenly gets released :laughtwo::tokin:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Lookin great con. My GTH also took a little longer than normal to recoup after topping but they are doing good now. Out of the 3 i have going, 2 of them turned out very stretchy, one was shorter with good node spacing and better trich production. Im Luvin the sunny spot man.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

thx for your kind words, Nicolas. I can say that things are going well with this grow, weather's been getting better, and pests haven't been a problem, so we're just waiting for keeping this stable. Been cutting some rucola already, some landrace peas (typical for my zone) and strawberries and cherries are getting ready. Seems that's also good yield for everything. Planted some broccoli, some tomatoes that sprouted in the garden and some melons too.

I hope for a very good seson with slightly lower temps than last year which should be better for weed by the way. Yeah I cannot guarantee the same conditions every time unfortunately but that keeps me busy in finding better strains. Some will love it and some not so much, but here it seems I'm getting nearer and nearer at least

Hmm pretty stoked on growing Colombian Gold 1972 as soon as I found the seeds are available. I even emailed Tropical to check if it's limited release or regular stock, and it's gonna be a regular one!!! I'm ordering 2 packs I think, so next year it might be 20 CG vs 20 Oaxaca feminized + Ultra Dogs.

Hey man, welcome to the world of jungle growing ;):surf:

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

Looking great Conrad. The ultra dogs are really stocky. Looks like my type of weed to grow. That comparison pic with the GTH and UD was a good look into the genetics of both. I love og so hopefully you'll get at least one chemmy Ghost type pheno. Should smell incredible.

Columbian vs Mexican sounds like a very fun outdoor grow. I like a good prefer mine watered down with slow og lol. Glad you'll be keeping the UD on the ballot.

Going on a stinging nettle hunt Saturday, wish me luck.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

These 2 phenos I'm hoping to get here are stable growing, stocky and branchy already found in F1 generation. They both arrive at 8-9 feet max and produce primo bud. This year it's all gonna be sensi, so I hope to see bigger yield too. Actually you're gonna see UD grown indoor, my friend finished with around 20 females and they are flowering already producing one big central cola. I'm gonna go snap some pics when they're little bit more advanced.

Re: Ramble In The Jungle Feat - OG Kush - Ultra Dog - Ghost Train Haze & Colombian Do

I just made an interesting discovery. I was going through my Colombian stash and I found 4 seeds. These came from a controlled pollination where I just spread some UD pollen with a paintbrush and I got 22 seeds this way. When I started thinking about checking it all out I figured it had a better chance of survivalbif I send some to my friend in SoCal. Well what happened is I germinated nada and my friend already found a female and cloned her, and he's much better at propagating the strain than I am... but if one of these seeds pop now we're gonna have a run at Colombian Dog after all :bong: :surf:
