Quebec Blue Grow

So today makes 4th week in flower or since flipping to 12/12. So also noticed that a few bud sites are starting to show some amber hairs which I’m liking to see! This strain is suppose to be an 8 week flower which would put me at the half way mark but thinking it will probably go further but once I’m trichome watching I’ll have a better idea.

Day 29, so feeling like she’s lagging a bit but then think ‘ don’t over think it. So after thinking about it, lol, I went head and changed my 100W light putting it up beside my 340W and cleaned her up quite a bit! Hope that’s okay, not moving the light but ridding some leaves at this point, guess time will tell!

Day 32 in flower, looking good, gave her a watering last night. So thinking from this point on I don’t need to keep adding the cal-mag. Will just continue the nutrients through until the end as I did last grow. I’m also thinking of not flushing this time to compare to last grow that I did flush. Seems as though more and more are saying no need too. Any input on this from anyone , it would be interesting to hear opinions on it?

Looking great still!

If you're going to stop with the calmag supplement watch for and yellowing of the leaf veins (mag deficiency) as the plants require the right amount of magnesium to complete the photosynthesis process. Proper amounts of magnesium enable the chlorophyll to take in energy from the sun and convert it.

I myself don't flush anymore. Really youre just flushing the root zone and medium and making the plant use up what's stored within the leaves without being able to replenish from the medium. That's my take on it, can't flush the plant itself.

Thanks man, I agree with the flushing, won’t be doing it. As for cutting the cal-mag, to replace the magnesium could I add some epsom salt, I do have some but just your run of the mill stuff from Rexall?

Yes you can do that. Or even wait and see if the deficiency starts, and if it does just do a spray before lights out. The mix can be found on Google, I can't remember it off the top of my head. I was going to do it with my dwc but I moved up the recommended dose and seem the problem subsided

So let me ask this, could I then just continue with cal-mag as I have been or maybe even just reduce it from 1ml per gallon to .5ml per gallon?

You could do either. If you want to try and save some nutrients you could cut it in half for now. But honestly, why fix what isn't broken right? Big thing is being careful on the calcium side and not using too much of it, but that's not the case here. Too much calcium can really mess with lots of other nutrients

Yeah I’m thinking if it ain’t broken don’t fix it. I’ll continue on as I have been, change it up only if necessary.

So I’m using the same equipment from my first two grows but with a little different set up. Only doing one plant, a QC Blue as already stated.Pics will show the set up and will be doing a journal per say.
My set up:
4X4 grow tent
Phlizon 1600W LED (actual watts 335)
Phlizon 600W LED (actual watts 100)
6” exhaust fan with a charcoal filter
6” clip fan at (light level)
Small Honeywell oscillating fan
Honeywell Humidifier
Exhale 365 bag (Co2)
ProMix HPCC Mycorrhizae
Advance PH Perfect Micro/Grow/Bloom
Cal-Mag
Final home 3g pot
Think that covers it, grew me some nice Hulk Creator(Bruce Banner/Sweet God) my last grow, pic below to see!
Going with the 1600W led directly above the lone plant but this time the 600W will be directed on a side angle to allow good light through entire plant, will see how I fair!
Wish me luck, looking forward too it!
