Purple Punch

I’m never really overly concerned on the humidity levels. At first I was, but then I started to not really care, until I’m in flower mode and need to keep it below a certain percentage. In veg, the plants usually put off their own humidity, the bigger they get, the higher it is. You can also help the humidity by hanging wet clothes in the tent but it’s a pain in the ass to stay on top of keeping them wet. My BLT watering technique also helps to raise the humidity levels as well. More water you run through, the higher the humidity in the tent will be :thumb:

Well as soon as I raised the humidity, the leaves on the plants have started to open up. Prior to last night the just dropped over the canopy , sorta like an open umbrella
I’m hoping they will now grow taller than they were. I need light underneath these big ass fan leaves. I may have to thin out a bit

New tent, new light. Spider farmer LED sf1000 QB . So far I like it , time will tell if plants like it. My other grow will go into the 4 by 4. Still waiting for beans to pop. I figure I’ll see soil movement there by morning 25ACC190-3EB6-448B-AEF4-3033C1755E65.jpeg

Day 34
Upper leaves have some light burn but overall I feel like the plants is doing great for just over 30 days . I still think this is an auto. I think that it’s ore flowering but not 100% on rhat. Guess I’ll know if it starts to bud

It’s got a lot of characteristics for it, but time will tell for sure! :thumb:
Ok so maybe your correct on the photo period strain question I’ve been in limbo over. If today is day 36-38 ish , then if it was an auto I should be seeing something other than what I see? Development of flower sites which I thought I was seeing but maybe not. I’ll just ride this out until after Christmas and throw these two into flower and be thankful and did get photo period seeds :)

Day 36-38 of an auto a person would think that you should be able to see pistils by then. Yeah just roll with the punches. If it is an auto, then pistils shouldn’t be far behind of how far along they are now. Time will tell my friend!

I’m around day 40, I’m going out of town Sunday, the scrogg is in place , I think I’ll flip the switch tonight. They are getting busy, I’m too scared to cut them up. Something says no, just grow so here we go :)

Ok so after extensive reading again last night I decided to let them go a little longer than 40 days. May flip them Sunday when I leave for a few days. I was hoping my other plants would be further along then they are. Worried about water. Bought some spikes I’m gonna experiment with to see if I can use them for these five

Going into flip mode today. I’m excited to see what these two are capable of under the smaller version of the spider farmer . So far they look great. Just hoping I have enough NPK to make it to the end

6 days of 12/12 and looking good. No signs of deficiency so if my soil can hang on just another 50 says or so I’ll be good D7FE0FF7-54AF-47AB-97C8-7301939B4643.jpeg

Hey backflip, thanks for checking in on me. I know I can count on you for good advice, information and even links. I have teetered with adding my grows to my signature but haven’t figured that out yet. I will work on my profile this coming year for sure. I remember you suggesting that long time ago and wanted you to know I haven’t forgot that just not computer savvy I guess
Anyhoo, not to stray too far. I am thinking about moving my plants around. Bringing the 5 from 4by4 to the 3 by 3 and vice versa. I realize that’s putting only 2 plants where 5 was but the damn PP is outgrowing this tent and they have flower spots EVERYWHERE! I figure the extra space and double light and they will go full swing for the fence. I’ll just keep the five in veg till PP finishes. I’m gonna try it out and see what happens

I love your candy cane (what is that) :nerd-with-glasses:electrical cord? Lol very festive!!

ahh yes, being able to put your grows in your signature is really quite easy! I can kinda push you in the right direction.

this here, is the URL link to your first post in this journal.

https://www.420 magazine.com/community/threads/purple-punch.474635/

(there is a space between 420 and magazine. I did that so you can copy and paste that URL link. Then remove the space between the two.

then,
BA81A9DC-667F-4E75-BE3F-0B1FC344FCE7.jpeg

Click on the spot that I have circled in the picture above in my signature. (Not the picture it’s self lol) and read the thread I made on how to do this exact task. Has pictures and I believe you should be able to figure it out from there! :thumb: Good luck bro!

Ok I can’t find much information on this topic but I’m curious. I was handing my plants a bit, moving stems around etc to ensure that each square had a branch in it. I think that I started way too late for the SOG method. The only purpose my screen will do now is support. However, I don’t think these stems will need any support so the screen got pulled. I’ll do better with my other 5 plants
What I took from messing with this a good portion of my morning was my fingers are sticky af from just handling a few stems moving and bending them . Nothing major but obviously this doesn’t bother me at all. The end goal is sticky af buds so the stems being sticky now has to be a good sign right? An overwhelming smell of diesel. No smell of oven baked pie though and purple punch is supposed to provide that. Maybe that terpene profile will shows later
Every day brings a new and welcoming challenge

My electric bill came today. 125 dollars! That’s insane! Increase of about $6 average. I’ll take that any day. Next month will be a little higher but not much. Anyhow Anyone still in doubt of QB style lights and a little more efficient exhaust such as cloudline , guess again. I’m also running total of six fans . Unbelievable

Day 53 from Popping soil. Day 12 on the 12/12 light switch or day 12 of flowering. One was trimmed a little twice and the pictures show a bad hack job nonetheless. I’ve been letting both just do their thing for past 12. I may have to train a bit to keep at Optimal height but I’ll cross the bridge when presented
