QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

Nothing much to report, so no news may be good news...temps and humidity is staying the same. All the plants are showing new growth. I am just amazed at how thick the stems are. With last grow the stems never got that thick even with shaking them.

Another thing I noticed because of a question someone else posted in their thread is the fingers on the leaves. All 3 plants seem to have anywhere between 4-7 fingers. I never noticed that before. Does it mean anything?

I am just really pleased with myself because thus far there has been no nute burn and no drooping. It just shows me that I am learning and retained some knowledge from my first grow....

@Kamy, I am assuming because there is no such thing and a slip of my tongue...lol..Measured the ladies earlier, they have grown a few inches. Plant 1 went from 6 inches to 11inches....plant 2 went from 6 inches to 10 inches and plant 3 went from 5 inches to 8 inches...Still seeing alot of new leaves coming in, humidity and temp still holding steady...more pics to come prolly on Sunday. Almost ready for lsting, I can't wait, already decided how I am going to tie them down...

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

I believe someone on here told me once that the shortest they should be is 12 inches. My last harvest my plants were over 20 inches. I havent decided yet this grow....

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

I am not sure what you are asking exactly. Are you saying you want them to flower early? I don't think I am experienced enough to answer that question for you. I am only on my second grow. I believe if you had a plant already going in the veg stage, you could clone it and force it to flower. But don't quote me on this due to inexperience. Maybe someone will come along with a better explanation for you or maybe you can post the question in your thread for a faster response. Honestly, I don't mind answering your question if I know the answer. I was full of questions my first grow too. I would also suggest purchasing a Grower's Bible, there are plenty out there. And it helped me out alot with certain questions as well.

re: QT's Second Grow - 1st Journal

Woooooooot Woooooooooot, I got my Lemon Skunk and Big Bang today!!!! It only took 9 days. I hope it was ok to say that. I already got it on its way germinating. I am gonna hold off on germinating the Big Bang for now.

I have noticed on certain people's journals that they have started lsting their plants when they look to be under 15 inches. Someone told me I should wait til then. But I am wondering if I should give it a try with plant 1 because she has a lot of new leaves and I think they are not getting sufficent light due to the fan leaves. I have some small metal hooks that I am going to put on the side then tie it down with some thread in a few place. She is already showing me what direction she wants to go in. But if your plants are growing straight up does it matter which direction to go? I'm gonna do like someone told me and watch some lst vids on youtube.

Also Corey if you're peeking in, I have a question for you, when should you start giving blooming nutes? Or do you have to wait for flowering stage? I thought I read somewhere on here that someone using your nutes was doing that while in veg. I could be mistaken but am curious to know.

uggghh im realy sory im just gonna ask a litle little question here :S

if i run 12/12 lights since seed in my plants how will i force them to enter the flowering stage ?

;)

Hey Kam, if you grow them at 12 /12 they will eventually flower on their own. If you can look up the strains you are growing, there are a few strains that have different flowering light needs. :peace:
