ProfessorFlora Presents: Growing On A Journey

Nice to see another little one join the party!
They're on their way
Your not kidding, Nice work Prof!
It's nice because the last 2 grows I have done I used a 400w hps. The flowers were big and sticky, had a nice smell and tasted good but there's just no beating the quality of the LED flower. These are already ahead with trichome development and smell so much richer. One of them smells like liquorice and another smells like soap.

When I first joined 420 I was using a Ceramic Metal Halide light it was pretty good but definitely saw an improvement in bud quality and trichome development when I switched to led.
Liquorice sounds delish but I’m guessing the one with the soap sent will be potent!

The soapy one is really greasy. The trichs feel slick to the touch and not sticky.
Fabolous!!:circle-of-love: Good to see you again prof
Hey Birdie! Good to see you too. I wasn't sure if you were still around. I was away for so long that I had to re-learn the wrbsite lol.

Well, we have some more seedling this morning....

Only a few left. No Green Crack yet and we're also waiting on one Sour D and the last Blueberry....

The GMO and the Blueberry which I put into coco yesterday are both looking happy....

So that's it for now. When I get back from work we'll check out what the remaining seeds are doing.

Happy growing everyone.

I had trichs like that on a Mimosa recently. I could wipe it right off my fingers after touching the buds. That was some fantastic bud.

Hey Hafta! It'll be a pleasure to have you along. That's a nice looking plant and I like the skirting Idea. Does it get humid around the bottom though? I have noticed that the last couple of rounds of plants that I grew had weak root balls when grown in coco in these pots. They still grew and yeilded well but I was surprised by the small root mass.
I've still after all these years never grown, smoked or vaped any Jack Herer.
The transpiration does take place near the bottom of the plant but away from the flowers (where mold be devastating). I have three fully adjustable fans stirring the air.

I am also changing the air 10x per minute with twin 200 cfm exhaust fans.

You should try Jack Herer. It is a classic and makes a wonderful blend with other strains.

Loving the set up! Mines a bit thrown together at the moment but I will sort it out as we go. My extraction could probably be better but I'm strapped for cash so I'm operating on a fingers crossed basis lol. Which Kind LED is that? I always wanted one years back but couldn't afford it at the time. Not much as changed I guess lol

Well, we have lots of seedlings now!
All the Blueberries are up and happy looking and with the others we're just waiting on the Green Cracks and one of the Sour Diesels. I should have planted more seeds than I needed at the beginning to make up for any duds or accidents which I didn't do and now I have a sinking feeling so I threw some more beans in for good measure....

I've put everyone above ground into pots and put the propagator to one side.
Here are the GMO's....

Here are the Blue Dreams. Pre potting....

Here's the Sour Diesel....

And finally, all 6 Blueberries....

We're gonna need a bigger tent! Which fortunately, we do have....

Perhaps tomorrow we'll see the rest

Stay safe and peace and respect to all
Happy growing everyone

Oh, same here!
Lots of things has happened and I was away. Hope life is treating you well, brother.
I just popped some baggies in soil.
First grow in 5 years!

Life is interesting. Never a boring moment.
Is your grow on here? I'll have a look

I haven't started a journal, just popped them in soil an hour ago.
If they break soil, I will start one.
It's totally unknown what they are or where they came from. They were given to me with the words " found them in the house " .
But hey! My first lot in so many years :)

That's an XL450 I purchased in 2021 with pre-retirement dollars. One of the LED banks failed earlier this year and I replaced it with a dimmable X330. Wonderful lights, still expensive. The variable extraction rate (up to 400 cfm) and the relocatable LED power supply for the new light, make temp/humidity control a lot easier.

Did they sprout?

Excellent! What is the humidity like where you are? I'm rethinking my current set up as it's 85% RH currently. I've survived worse but I could do without the added anxiety

You have far more patience than I. I get fidgety after 4 days lol.
Well, I learned how to be patient a loooong time ago.
Besides, I don't know where to grow yet, no lights no space lol
So slowly does it.
