ProfessorFlora Presents: Growing On A Journey

What a beautiful place to live!
I'd become a hiker if our hills had those on top...🍄
I walked almost 30 miles that day lol. I ended up doing the shrooms which separated me from space and time. Then I just walked around the countryside until the early hours of the morning.
I actually hated to tell you that- you did such an excellent job getting it all set up..👍
Well I'm glad that you did. I need some weed for the wedding next week!

Hey 420!

We're nearly ready to start again. I've sorted out the growroom and got the next round of plants ready for flower....

The cat won't let me do anything until she gets what she wants....

Here we have the next 8 plants....

The 2 on the right are the Barney's Farm GMO's and on the left we have the HSO Blue Dream's....

On the other side of the tent we have Barney's Farm Sour Diesel (top right), 710 Mango (bottom right), Zombie Death Fuck from Blimburn Seeds (top left) and the 24K Gold from DNA Genetics (bottom left)....

I've topped all of the plants and trimmed up the lowers on some of the larger ones. They were all getting a bit root bound again so this was done just in time.

Finally there is the cannabis flowers which I didn't take out of the fridge. Now this was the stuff which I put in there earlier than the main bulk of it. It's nearly dry now. Maybe a couple of days left.
I don't want people to think that it was worth putting all of the flowers in the fridge as I believe that there was far too much to dry out properly. This small amount worked really well but I don't think stuffing the fridge until there was no more space was a good idea. The bags actually had wet patches on them when I took them out which doesn't seem good. I'll try it again in the future....

It's mostly Pine Tar Kush but this flower is from the GTA #2....

These are from the bad PTK #3....

I'm thinking of flipping the lights to 12/12 on Friday which will give the plants a chance to settle down a bit.

hopefully the last round will be dry soon though I'm pretty sure that the low and slow method is faster than the normal method of drying where I live lol. Regardless, I'm looking forward to getting the dry weights and some pictures of the good stuff.

Stay safe and happy growing everyone

Hey 420 peeps!
First of all I'd like to apologise for the absence but I essentially had to go into hiding. I don't know if any of you were aware of this but there has been a huge operation in the UK recently in which there were many raids on what you might call drug operations. There is something called "county lines" in which gangs from city's deliver various drugs which includes cannabis to the more rural areas of the country and the police have been heavily cracking down on. There were 3 separate raids in my local area with one being just down the street from where I live which caused me to have to shut down my grow room. I had to get rid of everything I had which included my phone as it obviously had highly incriminating evidence contained within it. I had to get rid of all of my plants and gave my equipment to a close friend for safekeeping until I could gage whether or not it was safe to continue. It's been a while and I'm still here so I think I'm alright but a few people I knew were arrested. A couple of them knew that I had a grow room so I couldn't take the risk and that's why I had to do what I did. It was a tough decision but I would rather be safe than sorry. There were cops everywhere complete with sniffer dogs and thermal cameras and I have been having second thoughts about continuing with growing cannabis as I'm just not sure that the risk was worth it. I had to give all of my last grow away apart from a half ounce which I kept for myself as it would have seemed suspicious to be in position of 10+ ounces of obviously homegrown weed lol. It was all a bit shit really but nobody ever came knocking. My friend and I started some plants around his place but he didn't want any photos to be taken and posted online which I can understand though we did save the DJ Short Blueberry's which we cloned so I could give him as a thank you which was very much appreciated. I'll post an update tomorrow of what's going on now but everything which I had planned is gone which is a massive shame but sometimes these things happen. I don't think I've experienced anxiety like this ever in my life which is saying something as that's pretty much why I started growing cannabis in the first place. Like I said, I am sorry for the rather abrupt disappearance but we will be back shortly with a new grow now that I'm happy that things have died down again. I really don't want to go to prison. This is normally where I'd say "happy growing everyone" but now it's more like "safe growing everyone".

I'm so sorry but really glad you are safe!
Thank you, Carmen. Sometimes it's easy to forget how serious this lifestyle is. Then something comes along to remind us just what's at stake. I do think I'd become somewhat sloppy in regards to security which I'm now reviewing. No harm done thankfully.

Hey 420.
So instead of completely starting over we get to skip the seedling and early veg stage and go straight to the part where we are nearly ready for flower. My friend grew these out, mostly without my help so I can't really take credit for much of this....

Here we have a mix of strains. On the left we have 2 Purple Punch strains, top middle is one of the original Blueberry's and the other 3 got mixed up. One is a Platinum, another is Donutz and the third is Orange Runtz. There's also a GMO cutting which is actually growing though it took a long time to root and nearly didn't make it. I did that one by just sticking a cutting straight into a small pot of soil....

Here we have 2 cuttings one of which nearly has roots (right) and the other is a little bit behind but is doing well. These are the 2 females I got from the pack of 6 DJ Short Blueberry's. The rest were all males. I'm cloning these in dark glass jars which is much quicker and easier than doing it in soil. At least it is for me anyway. They normally take around 2-3 weeks to root depending on the plants. They are in a light nutrient solution as to give them a head start once the roots start to show. I usually change the water every week but not always. Again, depending on the plants, some drink more than others....

I may put these (not the clones) into flower this week.

Heya Professor.... Man I'm glad you're still at it. Just stay on the d.l. and your circle small. I hope you have a great Christmas buddy. Happy growing from across the pond 😎✌️

Thank you, Scottay and merry Christmas my friend.
I think you are right and I'll certainly be following that advice. This event really rumbled me and everything I stand for but I think I'll recover. I love this community and don't want to give it up but I love my kids and pets more and really can't loose them. I'm sure it'll be OK now but I see this as a tough lesson learnt.

I hope you have a great Christmas buddy.
