Pigeons420's Re-Veg/Re-Generation of The Hog

starting over but faster

Your re-veg is beautiful! But I disagree with that statement and its simply not true. Anyone can grow a plant TWICE that size in 8 weeks with a HID setup..

Personally, when i have re-vegged in the past its a very slow process and is a waste of nutrients and space. If you want the genetics clone and keep moving. But i think Pigeons420 is just doing this for practice and experience/fun so in that case it doesn't matter. =)

Also if you have flipped to 12/12 you may only want to tuck for a week.... When i tucked for 2 weeks it was to long and I had a lot of colas and bud UNDER the screen. Now when i flip to 12/12 i let them grow vertically through the stretch and then place a 2nd screen/support net about 12 inches above the first for support.

Really-Twice that size, in 8 weeks? Counting the time it takes to root a clone? I can't grow that fast. But I agree, I don't think he's doing it for the sake of speed.

Also keep in mind we are growing totally different strains in totally different conditions.
My sativa triples in heigjt in first 2.5 weeks. Others might not be same.
We need to see some grow journals on these 8 week monsters

OG
Very happy with efficient LEDs...

Speed is certainly not a factor here.

This process was merely because this strain produced a heavy yield, was very hardy and the entire process of reveg only took about 3 grams of bud. So, I felt like it was a great way for me to learn something new.

If I had to say anything though. The only part of this process that was slow but the first couple weeks. After that the rest has been quick. Every bud that I left from the harvest gave off at least 3-5 new shoots. No topping no stress. It's been rather quick. I will not leave her in veg nearly as long this time. So we shall see how much she produces this time to see how fast it really went.

Cheers folks

Everyday I come in the room she's so lush and bushy. Then I tuck and I tuck and then she looks all haggard lol. I'm so delighted to be doing this!

I'm learning all the time what a beautiful process life is. It's incredible to think that as time ticks by her entire goal is to grow a little bit at a time to produce a beautiful flower...reminds me of myself. Today is my sons 4th birthday. And maybe I'm feeling a little sentimental, but everyday my goal is the same. To grow a little bit more to produce a beautiful flower. My flower is my son. And he's a true reward to a crazy life I've lived. It's a beautiful life. :)

As always guys thanks for stopping in.
Peace, love and prosperity.

Ha ha. I didn't notice those. Got something like that with Seedsman's secure stealth shipping once....

You got slippers? That's too rich.

Hey Pigeons, sorry I missed your boy's birthday. Four is such an age of discover and questioning. It was at this point in my first child's life that I instituted the house rule that children had to be answered with "Yes dear" instead of "What". He asked so many questions at that age I thought I'd go nuts, but a mom's job is to give the answer, not attitude. :laughtwo:

And on that wonderful laugh I shall finally get myself to bed. Thank you Weaselcracker. I needed that. I owe you one.

You guys are awesome! I've been wrapped up in birthday parties and children for the last couple days. April is the month of birthdays!! All of my friends had babies in April so it's a busy time!!

Slippers?!? Omg. I didn't even notice them slip into the photo. Hahah what a loser. They're certainly warm!! Definitely in the grow room hahaha

4 years old is the age of question. And I love it! I told myself when I had children that I would look forward to answering all the strange and repetative questions. And it's true. I do love it. I graduated as a philosophy minor and I've certainly got answers to give.

It's remarkable having a little brain to mold and shape as time goes on. He's an amazing boy and I'm so thankful I've got him :)

Update to come. Taking pictures now!!
